What to expect
Start with a pickup from Nassau cruise terminal after your ship docks. Then, travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the dive center, where you’ll receive your included tanks, weights and weightbelt, and rent your wetsuit and other equipment (own expense). When you’re ready, make your way to the first of the two diving spots, where you can get up close and personal with Caribbean reef sharks. The exact sites visited depend on weather conditions, but you’ll dive at either ‘The Arena’ and the ‘Shark Wall’ or ‘The Runway’ and ‘Shark Wall North.’ Your first dive is a ‘free swim’ on one of the walls. The sharks stay close to you during this dive as you’re close to the feeding site. No bait is exposed, but the proximity to the feeding area keeps the sharks curious, creating a very natural encounter. Your second dive is a shark-feeding dive. Form a semi-circle with your fellow divers around a bait box on the ocean floor and watch as sharks come up to feed. A professional shark feeder controls the release of food to influence the sharks’ behavior, allowing you to witness first-hand a shark in its natural environment. Please see the Important Info tab for more information on participant requirements. Worry-Free Shore Excursion:We will ensure your timely return to Nassau for this activity. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. See our terms and conditions for full details.

Support Stuart Cove’s and a new beginning.....
Jun 2021
The crew were an easy 5/5. All pleasant, passionate, courteous and generally awesome.

First dive was really good. I liked the coral as much as the sharks, but the unexpected wreck dive was my first and was really special.

The camera guy was actually 6/5 and even the lady driving the complimentary hotel shuttle wasn’t far behind.

I will be diving with these guys again this trip and think that says it all.

Premises are tbc, but they’ll get there. I think we need to warmly support operations like this who have had a much worse than most of us fortunate tourists. Thanks all.

Disappointing
Apr 2021 • Business
Last Saturday, April 17th, myself and three colleagues booked a shark dive.

I would like to start off with the positive- I believe his name was Robyn but one of the dive guides was absolutely incredible. I had a freak out attack and panicked - he was incredibly patient & kind to me and the other woman who was experiencing issues. I have done a shark dive before as well as numerous other dives so it was super embarrassing on top of already panicking but he really made me feel at ease and continued to check on me and the other lady often.
The dive itself was pretty cool- the sharks were much larger than the ones I experienced in st marten.

On the downside, we should have been informed there would not be a photographer on our dive- had I known this I would NOT have spent well over 200 plus dollars for a dive I have already kind of done. That was literally the whole point to the dive as we had two other experienced divers who simply wanted pictures with sharks.

I feel this was a really underhand move on all accounts and it completely killed the vibe for the trip- had I even known when we were at the shop, I would have cancelled the dive. I don’t have a problem spending money however when I don’t feel it’s worth it (in this case, it was NOT) I am going to speak up.

The best in the business
Stuart Cove is the best dive shop in the Bahamas. The service is #1. They treat people right and they know how to have fun. Their dive safety comes first. Meet Stuart. He is a dive industry legend and has the best stories! I cannot give a higher recommendation. This is the real deal!

Sharks, Sharks and More Sharks! Great team!!
Mar 2021
We did the 2 tank afternoon shark dive and it was amazing!! The entire team was very professional and helpful. They did everything they could to make sure everything and everyone was safe and having an enjoyable experience. I had recently had lower back surgery and the whole team went out of their way to assist me with my gear getting in and out of the water. We will definitely come back again!

Shark dive unbelievable!!
Feb 2021 • Friends
If you are a diver and even slightly interested in a shark dive, I would highly recommend their 2 tank afternoon shark dive. Shaq was our dive leader and he was spectacular. It was a very controlled dive and I felt safe the entire time. The sharks were so close they were touching me! Unbelievable! I’ll do this dove again when family and friends visit.

Unsafe Diving!
Mar 2020
While the shark dive itself was a great experience, getting there was completely unsafe and the trip should have been cancelled because of high winds, high currents and swells and the reckless decisions made by the on-board crew (Daric, Anwar, Geoff, and Tiffany). When we arrived at Stuart's mooring line, another boat was using it, so the crew tried throwing down an anchor into the sand 4 times without success. On attempt number 2, they didn't wait long enough to see if the line would hold and sent the divers into the water, then recalled them back on the boat when the anchor broke again. This went on for 40 minutes. This was dangerous and unacceptable.

I have done this dive before with Stuart's and had no problems, but I'm sure going out this day was all about profit and not about safety. Since these guys put profits before safety, they have lost my business forever.

Shark, Sharks Everywhere
We've done this shark dive several times with Stuart Cove's. I've always found the organization to be professional, safe & organized...from booking to check-in to diving. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and fun! Thanks to the captain, dive guide & shark feeder (Anwar, sp?) & photographer (Zack) onboard for the pm shark dive, Sat, 2.22...sorry I can't recall all the names. However, they were excellent! My husband and I will definitely be back again & again!

Shark Dive
Feb 2020 • Couples
We went on the shark adventure on Feb.19th. The weather was good but the water was a little choppy. I highly recommended this dive. We left from the dock for a short ride to the first dive site of the wall. This was a Max 60 foot dive. The sharks swam right along with us. Our dive guide,Anwar, was topnotch as were o Zac,the photographer and Leslie our boat captain. Zac even helped me set my equipment when I couldn't remember how to start.
The shark feed was amazing. I felt perfectly safe the entire time and was able to just relax and enjoy! Thank to Stuarts Cove for an unforgettable adventure.

Shark Dive - Unforgettable
Feb 2020
All things considered, I am by no means an expert diver and went into the shark dive with a bit of uncertainty of what to expect. I must say if you have your open water cert and are visiting the Bahamas then diving with Stuart Cove's is a must do especially the shark dive.

Nacho, Leslie and Vanaz were incredibly professional, but brought a lot of fun to the seriousness of the shark dive. These three were a great crew to be a part of and the dive exceeded every expectation. Even though we were diving up close and personal with sharks I felt safe the entire time.

Thanks again for one hell of an adventure.
