Awesome Tour. The highlight of the trip
Sep 2021 • Friends
We were looking for a nice tour of downtown nassau and this was it. We were able to book it while we were there. Was one of the best decisions we made. Captain Ron was amazing. He was very personable. I applaud him for being able to live his best life enjoying what he does. He definitely does the tours for the love of the job. It was interesting to hear about the Bahamian culture and quite a bit about how he grew up. Being from the US it was interesting. He had a lot of knowledge about every place that we went. Food and drinks were amazing and authentic. Worth every penny that we paid. Just Google Captain Ron Bahamas and you will find all his amazing reviews. I can't recommend this tour enough.

Amazing Bahamas Food Tour
LISA was just amazing!!!! The food was fantastic on this tour! It was great to have true local food from mom and pop places you would never find otherwise not being on the tour! Lisa was a boat full of cultural and historical knowledge, we learned so much about the Bahamas and their culture from her! It was very eye opening and interesting! We left our tour feeling so FULL on both food and knowledge! Thank you Lisa for making it such a fun & special day! & Max the Blue/Gold Macaw said both “hello” and “bye bye” to us!!! We felt special!

Our tour guide Lisa was incredible!!!! Her knowledge of the island is amazing in both breath and depth. She introduced us to Bahamian cuisine, culture, history and architecture in a way that was both authentic and personal. All the food was absolutely delicious!!!

intriguing, fulfilling and engaging

Will was an excellent tour guide. Details galore with a personalized spin. The tour was intriguing and engaging as we explored the bridge between the past and the present. Will's passion for his culture and the Bahamian lifestyle helped us emerge in the experience. As a pescetarian, the restaurants accommodated my food. limitations and the tastings were both satisfying and filling.

Incredible experience
Sep 2021
Our tour led by the incredible Lisa got us off of our resort and into the true Bahamian culture. We learned a lot about the history of Nassau and the Bahamas, and ate some incredible food on the way. My only regret is not doing it sooner in our trip, the food was incredible!!

BEST DAY EVER!!
INCREDIBLE!!! Our family of four (children 7 and 9) had a blast with Captain Ron!! He kept my children engaged and interacted with them. He has a love for life and people and it is SO obvious!!! We loved all the food, we met many of his friends and everyone was so nice. Captain Ron knows the history of Nassau and has a passion to teach others.
I recommend this tour 1000%. We truly had the best. I’d pick this tour over a day on the beach!!

Ask for Captain Ron!
We did the walking cultural/food tasting tour through Nassau. Our guide for the afternoon was Captain Ron. In a word…FANTASTIC! He went at our pace, which may have been a bit slow at times with our 7 & 9 year old girls, but we were never rushed. And he kept them engaged, too, by talking directly to them and calling them by name at different points during our walk. He was funny and personable, yet very knowledgeable of the history and culture. It was very obvious that he truly loves taking people around and interacting with them. We were introduced to three different ways to eat conch…fritters, crack, and chowder. (In the Bahamas, crack ‘anything’ means it is deep-fried.) We also tasted chocolate and had a very refreshing rum punch. Even with all the walking, we were still full at the end of the tour. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Amazing tour and food!

Will was a fantastic tour guide! We were lucky to have a small group. We felt incredibly safe during COVID. We loved all of the food, the switcha (sp?) was a delicious drink, and learning about the culture and history was an added bonus. Will even gave us tips about getting around the Bahamas.

The most wonderful experience!
We had the pleasure of taking the tour yesterday Aug 1 with Princess. She was so knowledgeable abou the surroundings and the good food we ate. It was a beautiful mix of culture from history about the island and different types of food which i loved. They were also able to accommodate for allergies. I would highly recommend the tour. I learned things about the Bahamas I didn't know before
