    5 islands adventure
Really enjoyable day out in the Exuma Cays seeing and feeding the Iguanas, Nurse Sharks and Swimmings Pigs in their natural environment. You are very much interacting with the animals and are very much encouraged to get involved, one on one with them. The power ride was exciting and also enabled us to reach 120 miles down into the Cays to get to see and feel the “real” Bahamas, away from the commercialised Nassau. It really is worth it. To be surrounded by such beauty was breathtaking. The sea is a colour that is as turquoise as you will see, as clear as if looking through a window. The scenery and beauty of the islands is spectacular. Lunch at Point Black was good and drinks plentiful. It gave a look into island life for the small amount of inhabitants that live on Great Guana. Finished off with a visit to Pablo Escobars former “home” and his sunken plane and then a swim on an uninhabited island, which itself was quite Robinson Crusoe-esque.. It was a day to remember and something so completely different and the price we paid was very competitive against other trips of the same ilk. We wouldn’t hesitate to go again if we are ever in the Bahamas, it is that enjoyable.

    Fun day in beautiful Bahamas!
So much fun! Really got to experience the beautiful islands and waters of the Bahamas. We went to 5 islands and saw some of the most beautiful water I’ve ever seen. We fed iguanas, held nurse sharks, saw many species of fish, swam with the pigs and saw Escobar plane. Make sure to get a seat in the shade. We didn’t and I got burned the worse I’ve ever been even after putting sunblock on 10 times.

    Beach Reality Nightmare
This reality company should be avoided at all cost. They cancelled our beach accomadations 2 weeks prior to our summer vacation stating there was a plumbing issue in the house! What plumbing issue takes TWO weeks to repair?

    So Worth It!
We were on a boat that held about 20 people but there were about 10 guests on the tour. They provided unlimited sodas, water, chips, etc on the boat. I think some booze too but we didn’t drink. The guides told us about the houses and islands along the way to snorkeling which was fun to hear about. They were very helpful getting everyone on and off the boat safely. The snorkeling was not on the island but we stopped in the water and jumped out of the boat. Other boats were there too doing the same thing. When we headed to the island to see the pigs, our guides stopped along the way to look at turtles for a few minutes. When we arrived at the island we had lunch first (which was really good!), and then met the pigs after. We fed them apples and they were very cute! The water looked unreal it was so beautiful. We didn’t exactly swim with the pigs, but they swam around while we gave them apples. The whole excursion was just over 4 hours and when you compare what they provide to other activities, it’s a really good deal. It’s totally worth it!

    Small Surprise in the Excursion!
This experience (6/23) was very fun and relaxing. Yesterday we couldn't go because of the weather but luckily we got one quickly today. Anyway, the pigs were very cute and they even let everyone take a picture with them. Also, the boat ride was fun; i recommend it for people who like thrills. views were pretty, and they also gave a small tour in the beginning that is not said in the description of this excursion. to explain, we saw many famous peoples' houses that i will not say to keep a surprise for those of you who want to go. it had very pretty views and they offered plenty of snacks and drinks in the boat at anytime u wanted. crew members were very kind and didn't force people to go snorkeling if they didn't want to. overall great trip and is a must-see!

    Disappointed
Visited Rose island as part of a tour on Friday 2nd June, the aim of the tour was to visit pig beach and also 2 other islands. Booked online through get me there as it was much cheaper (trips were $200-450pp in the hotel). As soon as we got onto our boat the crew informed us although this was a big beach trip it was actually an extra $50 to swim with the pigs once at the beach!! The pig beach was closed, apparently it was a national holiday, we didn’t know about this. The beach was also disgusting, dirty and all the pigs were locked into the pen with no food or water, a few were stray which we tried to pet. A man who worked there turned up whilst we were on the deserted beach with some water for them, he tried to get the pigs in and shouted at anyone going near them. Such a shame as this really is a selling point of the Bahamas but is clearly not like it is seen on social media, don’t believe any of the pictures. Also taken to a place to snorkel which had barely any fish. Just disappointing all around especially for how expensive it was, $700!

    Best day trip ever!
Even though one of the 3 boat engines had a couple minor issues it did not take away for us the enjoyment of the day! From the pigs, iguanas, sharks, delicious island lunch buffet at a quaint bar on the beach, sand bay stop and plane wreck site to the bonus dolphins we saw jumping next to the boat on the way home, we couldn’t have asked for a better day experience! Ace the captain and his first mat Shannon were fun and first class and put your needs first! Thanks gentlemen!

Rose island half day snorkel and pigs. Just wow
Wow what an amazing day, due to bad weather I had a few trips cancelled but with the help of the fabulous admin team they managed to get us on a trip on the morning we were flying home. I had travelled all the way from the UK to see the pigs so I was so happy I got to see them. The crew were great, they were knowledgeable and made everyone feel safe and comfortable. The actual pig experience on the island was so much fun. The pigs looked well cared for and were so friendly. The lunch on the island was authentic and very tasty. Overall a fabulous day and one that I will cherish and never forget

What was to be an amazing trip – turned into something else. To start with, we were put on a boat that did not have enough proper seating and as we came to find out it also did not have a ladder.

So now we come to the ocean crossing part of the trip – there were not enough bean bag chairs to go around. So when it came time for me to get a seat, I had to sit on the front bench. I tried to laugh it off and be good with the situation as the other members of my group needed to be in the beanbag chairs. As we crossed the rough open water, I quickly regretted being seated at the front of the boat. If the water would have been calm no big deal, but it was not! By the time we made it to our first stop I was in so much pain I could hardly move. I was unable to really enjoy the remainder of the trip.

Once we got to our first stop, we were only given bread to feed the iguanas. The other tour groups were offering grapes and other fruit to feed them. When it came feeding the pigs we thought we would be given carrots or other healthy items to feed them – guess again we got white bread! Another tour group operator gave us some carrots to feed to the pigs.

Only being given white bread to feed the animals is extremely disappointing and I am sure not the healthiest thing for them. The tour operator is charging a premium price and seems to be cutting corners.

We did this trip on the second day of vacation and because of the back injury I received on the boat, I was unable to enjoy my stay. Turns out I cracked my ribs & tailbone, hurt my back and had muscle spasms (all from the AM open water crossing). It has almost been 4 months since the trip and I still can’t sit properly.

This is an amazing place to visit – but do so with a different operator. The one good thing about this tour operator was the crew member Flower – he was great.

Hi there and thank you for your review. We the team here at Exuma escapes was unaware of this situation at all in regards to your claims. As its our policy at the end of every trip to ask our guest of there experience while with us. Secondly We did not received any email or notification at the time or at any time for a matter of fact in regards to your claim of a broken rib or any form of injury. In respect to the food given to the pigs we are allowed by the Bahamas government to feed the pigs bread fruits and vegetables which makes up there nutritional diet. We try our best to ensure that our guests are happy and well taken care off. We are sorry that you feel this way and we wish you all the best.

This is an incredible experience! We saw iguanas, swam with and fed pigs, ate at Scorpios (delicious), swam with sharks, and enjoyed some time on the beach. The boat ride was beautiful between all the stops and the captains have timing it all down to an art. It was a beautiful day on the water and an experience I won’t forget anytime soon. Thanks especially to Captain Flowers and Captain Henny! Captain Flowers took care of us the whole way from getting on/off the boat, directions with the animals, and sharing info about the islands, and making sure we were all having a great time. Captain Henny ensured we enjoyed a safe voyage! Can’t recommend this experience highly enough!

It was a perfect day. Everything was well timed, lots of stops, lots of beauty, lots of water and refreshments. Perfectly on time. The lunch was adequate, but could have been better for the tour price (ie letting us order off of the full menu and including a beer). Each of the four stops felt nice and relaxed, not rushed at all. The crew was delightful. I would say that the music on the return could have been less EDM and more island beats as everyone grew tired and could have used a brake from the bass. Something more soothing. Also, the trip we originally booked was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day and no one notified us so we were up early and there ready and the other tour groups leader had to tell us. When I called, the operator was less than apologetic and gave us incorrect information about the next day. Soooo, I’m going to chalk that up to Covid, but getting up early sucks on vacation.

The Exuma Escapes tour was the highlight of my solo vacation! I traveled to the Bahamas by myself and had a blast feeding the iguanas, swimming with the sharks, hanging out with the piglets, and meeting other travelers on the tour. Cameio and Randy were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the tour. They explained and shared stories about the different islands we would pass by on the boat. They helped every one get on and off the boat safely. They also got some great pictures for me at the beach and with the pigs. The boat ride is a bit choppy but you eventually get used to it. The bean bag chairs are the best seats! It takes about 45 minutes - 1 hour between the stops but this full day excursion is totally worth every penny. You'll get many beautiful pictures and lifelong memories on this tour.

They provided drinks and snacks on the boat before lunch time. Lunch is the 4th stop after Pig Beach which was around 1PM. It was buffet style and the cookies were baked fresh. Yummy!

You'll be in the sun all day so make sure you bring sunscreen and reapply accordingly. Many people were sunburnt by the end of the day.

I am forever grateful for the opportunity to join this tour and meet Cameio and Randy. They went above and beyond to make this the best tour I've ever experienced.

Long boat ride on a fast boat. Got to see lots of open water, yachts, and out islands. Unfortunately, we had a captain that spent lots of time looking and talking on his phone while driving the boat, which frankly scared me for our safety. The captain said very little, and gave no instructions at the stops to get us excited or engaged.
It was neat to feed the iguanas and see so many on the island. It was fun to feed the pigs and watch them swim a bit. It was neat to feed baby pigs out of a bottle. The first mate was feeding the pigs and eventually offered me a piece of bread to feed them.
At the shark encounter, no instructions given and the captain just disappeared. The first mate got in the water and held the sharks and offered to others to hold the shark, but didn't really look for our group and engage our group directly.

This trip was the highlight of our vacation. Everything about it was easy and perfect
Booking was easy and all questions I had before booking were answered accurately and quickly.
The tour itself was better than advertised.
Swimming with pigs was certainly a novelty and we all enjoyed it.
Feeding the mini dinosaurs ( wait they were iguanas) was also unique and enjoyable.
Our group unanimously voted the time we spent swimming with the sharks to be the most fun. The interaction with the sharks was astounding.
And last the stop at the sand bar to sit and relax and have a cocktail was so beautiful and relaxing we didn’t want to leave.
The only thing we wish was different was the time it takes to travel to the islands but it is what it is

The trip with any captain and ante would be great but Captain Joe and Kelvin worked tirelessly and were so accommodating to our needs that I can honestly say it was their efforts that made the trip as great as it was.
This trip will not disappoint anyone and in my opinion exceed all expectations

Exuma Escape put the lives of my family members at risk when it failed to cancel our trip on a day that had a high chance of rain and bad weather. We had a terrifying experience on the powerboat in choppy water while under heavy rain. I was worried that the small powerboat would capsize and I would drown with my family at sea. This trip is not worth the risk. Also, pig island was a huge disappointment. It was small with a few pigs on it. You could not get in the water with the pigs because of all of the boats and the water was full of pig poop. The pigs were aggressive and not cute and cuddly at all. The "all you can eat" buffet was disappointing. The minute we went the first round of getting our food, the locals outside of the restaurant swooped in and got food for themselves which left nothing for a second round.

Pretty bad service all around. This was not a family friendly tour. Captain and crew invited several girls on the boat, and devoted most of their attention to them. Crew was drinking the entire time, and feeding alcohol to their girl friends, and playing music with very explicit lyrics. I’m no prude, but this wasn’t a tour for kids. Boat was very packed with the young ladies that the crew was focused on, and then we picked up more passengers (assuming friends of the crew) when we headed back. Great views and cool sites, but for over $400 a person, it didn’t feel like a personal tour — but a group date for the crew.

It was my birthday on the day we booked the activity and the main atttaction was the pigs. I was scared to be seeing huge crowds and boats of people but throughout the tour the actual atmosphere was so calm and no one else’s was there at our same time. We had all the islands to ourselves. The speedboat which was my main concern wasn’t even making me sick, I even slept on it. Overall I have to say I was surprised and I really enjoyed it. The only sad thing was leaving the islands after getting there, they all were so beautiful…I would have added 10 mins more in the pigs and the sharks and less in the private beach / lunch time.. but that’s just my opinion! Thanks for making my birthday so memorable !

I can’t recommend this tour enough. The staff of Exuma Escapes (Trei, Tyler, Sheran, Shawn, Flowers, and Lemont) were incredible. They made us feel safe, kept us informed and made us laugh throughout the whole excursion. My friend and I were skeptical about swimming with the sharks and pigs, but we ended up loving it and the guides stay with you throughout the tour. Even if you choose not to swim with the sharks or pigs, you will get the best entertainment by watching everyone from the boat. So many laughs and what a fun experience!
