Tourists need to be aware that these busses are fun, and convenient, but they operate on island time. Going to your beach won’t be a problem. There’s lots of people all going to the beach, so the bus gets full quickly. It’s going BACK to your starting point at the end of the afternoon, that is the problem. For me, I needed to get back to the ferry to St Thomas. The drivers are not concerned if you urgently have somewhere to be, such as if your ferry is leaving in 1 hour and you NEED to get on it in order to not miss your cruise ship. They will tell you that 1 hour isn’t enough time; blaming you for being in a hurry, even though it’s just a 20 minute drive and you HAVE prepared a plan ahead of time by being an hour early for a 20 min trip… but dude, you just made me sit here in an empty bus for 15 minutes and now the clock really is ticking. I wasn’t in a hurry before, but the longer you wait for more customers well yeah now I am starting to be in a hurry. I guess that makes me the AH. Just be aware that they will only start the vehicle when they’re good and ready, and even if you offer to pay them more for a private ride, or pay them more to leave now, they still won’t hurry. They want a FULL bus of people before they depart. I get it, a full bus is how you make money… But when there’s nobody else around at the beach wanting to share the ride back to the ferry, it becomes a desperate situation where the customer is relying on the driver to “get going” and the driver is sitting around chatting with their buddies and waiting for more (nonexistent) passers-by to jump on. It’s also irritating to have people tell you to “relax” when you have a ferry to catch, a ferry which DOES depart on schedule. I was relaxed… until I needed a ride from these guys.

We booked a private Island tour of St. John. Our tour guide, Ron was great. Very knowledgeable and patient. He also seems to know everyone on the island! Highly recommended.

The team had a great time on the island! The beaches and views were breathtaking. Evans was an incredible driver. He was very knowledgeable about the island and so helpful with transporting our group around!

We went for a few hours from Naples with our small dog. Talked to the parking person and she said it was fine to take a leashed dog on the beach. We proceeded to do the Q Reader, put all information in to pay the $5.00 for one hour. After 45 we returned to the car and found a $150. Parking ticket. I fought it through two judges but they did not care. I will never go to Sanibel again.😭😭😭

My wife and I were totally captivated and impressed with Hibiscus, our driver and guide for Star Fish Tours and Taxi on our recent visit to St. Johns USVI. She was knowledgeable, engaging and just plain fun. St. Johns has a rich history which includes a slave uprising in the early 18th century leading to emancipation more that 120 years later. Hibiscus knew every detail and brought the uprising to life tying the past to the present history of how St. Johns became part of the US. This tour and guide is a must.

St John’s is a beautiful island People are very inviting Our Guide Evans was real encyclopedia of information on St John’s. My Girl and I had a great time exploring the island

Hibiscus was lovely and so informative!! It was just my husband and I and she answered questions and took photos for us. The views were amazing and 2.5 hours was plenty of time to see the sights and learn about some of St John’s amazing history!

So happy that we booked this tour! We would not have been able to see all that the island has to offer any other way. The driver tried his best to fulfill our requests for our favorite foods and provided us with adequate time to enjoy each spot. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island.

Mr.Evans is the such a wonderful person, mannerisms and love for his island alluminates through him as he speaks. He gave us exactly what we were looking for on learning the history of the islands. We enjoyed our tour and time on St. John and we have decided that the next time we come to VI we will book on St. John thanks to Mr. Evans. If you want a authentic history and view of St. John's than book with him, it's well worth it!

Evans did an amazing job of sharing his home with us. We stopped frequently for photo ops, explanations of the islands, etc.

This was an amazing experience. Ron was the best and we felt like we got to see the whole island ! Everything was beautiful!
