It is located at the top of Bluebeards Castle Resort which can be found on Google maps. There is a parking lot right below the castle where you can park throughout the evening. You will be returned to this spot at the end of the experience.

- Although you will not have to swim, you will be tandem kayaking for approximately 40 minutes round-trip.
- The Ghosts of Piracy Past is designed to be a spooky and immersive experience. It will be dark, and at one point during the experience you will be in tight quarters in a wooded outdoor area. Strobe lights and other disorienting props may be used. Live actors may spook you in various ways but will not touch your person or belongings.
- If you are afraid of heights the sky ride is 700 feet above sea level. You may sit out during that portion of the treasure hunt.
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

Great fun! Our group of 3 couples were able to find the clues and solve the puzzle to find the treasure. We started off at Bluebeards Castle with a lively bit of history and a close look at the real treasures that have been found near there. The view from the top was amazing. Then we followed the clues to drinks and then adventure on the kayak tour. We got out of the kayaks and walked through the mangroves to find a pirate and a few crabs and some scary characters. ( be sure you have applied loads of bug spray before getting in the kayaks) Next we took the van to our Secret location for pizza ( delicious) and another round of drinks before the search on the beach for buried treasure. The creepy ghostly pirates tried to keep us from stealing their treasure. And scared the p… out of me! It was a fun evening. It took over 6 hours , which was my only complaint. We were never bored, but it did take longer than I expected, making for a very late return to our boat

We do apologize for the length of time your adventure took. Out of all of our treasure hunts this is the toughest one to predict timing since we can't predict how fast people are comfortable kayaking. Also, the pizza came out longer than we hoped at the final beach bar for you guys. But we are working with our partner to get the timing flawless where clients can get their clue and enjoy the food ASAP (so they can get right back to hunting for booty).

It was great fun! As first time visitors to St Thomas we loved that we got to explore different cool spots and activities across the Island and have have a few drinks along the way! Our guide Ryan was really attentive and accommodating to our needs. He made sure it was a smooth transition between all of our activities.

My husband and I took our four kids on the treasure hunt during a recent visit to St. Thomas. Our kids’ ages range from 5 to 13. It was awesome! We learned a lot and had a great time as a family. Honestly we enjoyed this way more than we expected and way more compared to other similar activities on the mainland. The team was very professional and was heavily invested in the activity and our needs.

Fantastic Pirate Adventure. We contacted Anthony directly to see what he would recommend as there were just us two couples. He arranged a perfect personally planned pirate adventure that was the highlight of our trip to St Thomas. From the hotel pickup, the viewing of shipwreck treasures and clues at Bluebeards Castle, a few drink and clue stops along the way, an exciting and spooky nighttime kayaking journey through the mangroves for more clues, delicious dinner of fish tacos, more clues and tromping along the beach with our lantern searching for the lost and buried pirate treasure, this was an amazing and magical experience! Such attention to detail! Anthony and his pirate crew were always surprising us with the next site, scare, activity and clue along our adventure. Best tour ever! You will not be disappointed!

This is a must-do adventure when you’re in St Thomas! We booked the ghost kayak adventure and had an absolute blast. The owner is beyond knowledgeable, the staff were amazing, and my small group had the most fun. We saved this for our last night on the island and I’m incredibly grateful we did. Anyone from amateur puzzlers to larger families, kids, and groups would enjoy this adventure. Our friend was even a first time kayaker and the entire team took her under their wing to make sure she was safe and felt comfortable. This is a tour that feels like it’s run by family and is definitely one to not miss!

Six of us ranging in age from 10 to 76 took part in this hunt for buried treasure. The clues scattered in the Pirates/Shipwreck Museum kept us all engaged and paying attention to the various exhibits. Shuttling from there to the place where the treasure was buried (no spoilers here!) made the day even more interesting. Anthony could not have been more helpful in understanding and accommodating our interests. Luckily we had the museum essentially to ourselves, which alleviated Covid concerns. Highly recommend for a family outing!

Ahoy Julie and crew! Thank you for the warm review! Your group was a lot of fun and it is always great to see the whole family actively working together while making memories! We want our clients to maximize their experience in the Pirates Treasure Museum which is why many of the clues involve learning more about the fascinating history of the Golden Age of Piracy.

This was certainly one of the most unique pass time experiences we've had in a very long time! The problem solving was fun and the pirate facts enlightening. The most striking aspect of this experience was how personally attentive the owner and employees of this company were - We both felt like VIPs through all of it, the entire afternoon. Playing and laughing together over all the amusing and creative touches created a memory we will both *treasure*.... Definitely worth repeating!

We had an amazing time on our tropical treasure hunt. The experience made the museum exponentially more fun! We enjoyed finishing the hunt at a beach near by. We highly recommend it! Phillip 9 and Nicolas 7 were a great age for the perfect adventure!
