Amazing views, good drinks, and really loved the flexibility to go for a quick sailing cruise when we were done snorkeling early. Definitely recommend if you want to snorkel or sail.

What an awesome experience; we were literally treated like royalty; always being carefully taken care of making sure we had refreshments; pointing out islands history; taking our family to special snorkel sites and super tasty lunch.

Had a really great time recently on a morning sail and snorkeling trip. Only 6 people on these trips so no big crowds to deal with and the ability to have pleasant conversations with nice people on a very comfortable and stable sailboat made for an amazing morning. The scenery was stunning and to be quietly gliding through the gorgeous blue waters while the sails are full of wind is always a magical experience. The captain and first mate are very friendly, know their boat inside and out, and drinks/snacks are served. Great snorkeling spot (go to the right and check out the reef shelf that runs way down the beach great sea life over there) and the gear they had onboard to use was of good quality. Overall a wonderful experience at a great price.

Great experience. The boat is a classic sailboat with comfortable areas to sit and relax. Rob and Deb were great hosts/crew members. They are passionate about sailing and giving the best experience to their guests. Highly recommend this as a nice 3 hour trip. Group is kept to max six ppl which makes it feel like a private experience.

Oh my goodness. This was a perfect trip. We left early since everyone was there l. Crew was so attentive and sailboat was clean and smooth riding We went to Christmas bay on great St. James. It couldn’t have been any more perfect.Take the trip with these people, you will not regret it.

I booked this tour for Thanksgiving and while the other group canceled, Rob and Deb were gracious enough to take the two of us on a private sail! I can’t say this would happen to everyone, but we were so thankful for the opportunity to sail on Cosmos. The boat is beautiful and the islands/views in St Thomas/Sapphire are to die for! The sail was about 3 hours total including the stop to snorkel. I snorkeled in Christmas Cove, saw a starfish, turtle, and a ton of fish, including my favorites! The gear was in great condition and so were the water conditions! Nice and warm, not too strong of a current. While I snorkeled my bf stayed on the boat and got a history lesson of the boat, the area surrounding us, Rob & Deb’s adventures, etc. Due to an injury my bf was not able to climb the ladder to get back on board Cosmos had he snorkeled. The ladder to climb up consists of round rungs and it wasn’t going to work for him. He thoroughly enjoyed his time on board and our Captain/Crew were kind enough to take us on a little extra sail. We purchased Cosmos shirts at the end of the voyage, they are super nice and I was immediately cooled off when I put it on. We came to St Thomas via Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas. At port we disembarked the ship, went straight out to the taxi stand and asked for a ride to Sapphire Marina/beach. The taxi was an open air truck that fit a lot of people and we didn’t leave the port until it was filled. Keep this in mind if you are doing the same as us. It took 45 min-1 hour from leaving the ship to arriving at Sapphire Beach. The taxi will drop you at the beach/restaurant. You will need to follow the pathway in front of (non beach side) the condos to the right to reach the marina. Like it states in the description the trailer (white) is a nice bathroom if you need it. We were greeted by two cats upon arrival at the dock! The slips are clearly labeled so you should be able to find Cosmos easily. After our sail & goodbyes, we headed to the beach bar. Deb recommended the chicken sandwich with pineapple and boy was she right! YUM! Fries were awesome as well. I think when I retire this is the place I want to work at! The views were stunning, the place was hopping, food was delicious, and the people were friendly. There was some sort of pirate tour going on for the kids and they seemed to be having fun as well. I would absolutely sail with Cosmos again and recommend the trip to anyone wanting to do something different! Communication with Deb started as soon as I booked the tour. Hoping to visit them again on our next trip to St Thomas! 10/10 trip! Thank you to our hosts and we look forward to seeing you in the future!

We’ve snorkeled on all of our beach vacations across the Caribbean and this trip was the absolute best by a long shot. Deb was an amazing host! Capt Rob sailed us to Christmas Cove which was spectacular! Gorgeous fish, coral reefs, starfish, stingrays! Deb was extremely accommodating. From fitting us with the appropriate snorkel gear, providing drinks and snacks. She truly is a genuinely lovely person. The sail boat was beautiful and we loved being in a small group of six. An awesome afternoon in paradise!

We went snorkeling in mid June and water was warm. Because no wetsuits required, boarding the yacht was swift and sailing was breezy. Deb and Rob took us to the protected marine area between the east end of St. Thomas and Great St. James. Once the yacht stopped, Rob introduced us to three different snorkeling spots, one of which, surprisingly, was a narrow channel between rocks. Each spot revealed different landscapes, various species of marine animals, and tons of surprises. The water was calm and the view under the water was crystal clear, serene, and full of wonder. I could have spent hours marveling at the spectacle of marine nature while floating weightlessly in the warm Caribbean body of water. I felt like time had stopped… Deb and Rob - they are nimble when they operate the yacht, and they are super hosts when they take care of guests. They fixed drinks and snacks for us, and gave us tons of travel tips. One of my friends didn’t want to go into the water, she just wanted to stay close to the water and soak up the sun. Rob and Deb found a floating mat for her. I have a flat nose, and Deb found me a mask that perfectly fit me. They paid attention to every detail and need. I couldn’t be thankful enough for this amazing experience. Thank you Deb and Rob!

Booking with Sailing the Cosmos was easy and the hosts were great to deal with. We saw a pod of dolphins, tons of amazing sea life and sailed through crystal clear waters. The owners are very informative, courteous and fun! We had the best time!

This was by far, my favorite excursion on this trip. It changed my mind about St Thomas. Not only was the sailboat a beauty, Captain Rob and first mate/wife Deb were also wonderful hosts and guides. The snorkeling was top notch and I throughly enjoyed seeing the varying coral reefs and gorgeous fish, stingrays, starfish fed my snorkeling craving. I was able to see fish I’ve never seen on prior snorkeling excursions. If you want to relax and enjoy all the beauty St Thomas had to offer, you won’t regret Sailing the Cosmos!

We had a beautiful day for sailing. Captain Robert and Deb took us to Christmas Cove at Great St James where we swam with colorful fish, a ray and huge starfish. The small group size was perfect. Highly recommended.
