Great kayaking and snorkeling experience with Tree and Terry
What an awesome experience! Tree and Terry guided us through the waters near mangroves to view sea life. Tree showed us different creatures and was very knowledgeable about them and the area.

Our guide, Swish, led us on a fun family adventure with sea creatures, birds and fish!
This tour was perfect for our family! We got to kayak, snorkel and experience the island wildlife with a knowledgeable and friendly guide, Swish. His respect for nature and enthusiasm for teaching others was obvious. He made the experience great for us and our kids!

      Great Experience
Tree and Jay our guides were absolutely fabulous! Trip started out with a tutorial on how to kayak. Then they helped us into tandem kayaks and we took off kayaking lagoons and natural areas. Tree and Jay were extremely knowledgeable about native vegetation and sea life and pointed things out as we kayaked along. The kayak experience was wonderful. Water was clear and it was calm the day we went. We kayaked to an area where we got out and saw native plants and lots of hermit crabs. Tree and Jay then took us on a hike into an area where we "flipped rocks". The water was very shallow and there were lots of rocks, so we flipped some rocks over to see what kind of sea life was living under them. It was amazing to see urchins and other sea creatures. Tree and Jay were so much fun and were really informative. From there we walked a bit farther and saw a blow hole where ocean water blows through a rock formation. Then we went snorkeling in clear calm ocean water where we saw lots of colorful Cribbean fish. Tree pointed out an octopus to me. After snorkeling we went back to where we took off from. It was a wonderful trip and I would definitely do it again. Life vests, kayaks, and sanitized snorkeling equipment are provided. They provide a free locked locker to store anything that you don't want to bring with in your kayak.

      Wonderful trip lead by Kyrell!
Wonderful trek! The company was very easy to work with. We had to make a change in the number of our party and the time and they promptly made the changes. The water was wonderful and an easy paddle and hike for our family that ranged in age from 70 to 2 1/2.

      Kayaking in Cas Cay
Kayak was a bit challenging, but the tour guides (Slim, Terry, Kyrell, Ke-Shawn) were helpful and also educated us along the way. We snorkeled in coral reef (very shallow) and hiked to a blow hole. We also observed the habits of hermit crabs (they eat anything!!) and learned about local plants. Very enjoyable day.

      Fantastic tour and guide!
We did the SUP and snorkel tour of the mangroves. Absolutely wonderful, Lilly our tour guide was fantastic, kind, knowledgeable and personable, great sense of humor. Had ice cold water for us and Kit-Kats for us before making the journey back. Our eco-tour taxi driver Henry was personable as well. Everybody at Eco-yours was wonderful and you can tell they care about the mangroves. Book this trip, if you get Lilly, it will be a great tour for sure!

Great tour in a really interesting place with lots of variety and good fun!
I absolutely loved the trip. We booked it through Holland America while stopping over on a cruise. The kayaking was loads of fun and not hard at all. I had never used this type of kayak before but my wife and I figured it out quite quickly. The staff of Kevin, Teri and Marc were very helpful and assisted us in getting into the kayak and again getting off at the end of the tour. I regret not having a waterproof phone case so we didn’t get any of our own photos. The tour company did take lots so we could purchase them later. The home was not terribly strenuous, but you do have to climb over some rock outcroppings and navigate some large coral boulders. Not suitable for those who are not comfortable climbing over and around rock. Finally the snorkeling area was great. The water temp was very warm. It was not problem in a bathing suit and the provided lifejacket. We saw a juvenile barracuda (about 24” long) and many other reef fish. This four hour adventure was a really good value we thought. Even the drive back and forth from the ship was a bit of an adventure as the road is hilly, winding and narrow. The folks in St Thomas drive on the left so that was interesting as well!

      Had a great time
Great tour guide. Great views and lots of fun. The bag lunch was also very good. Plenty of time to see everything. This was my first kayak tour so wasn't sure what to expect but exceeded my expectations.

      Easy kayaking and great snorkeling!
Great excursion! Swish was informative, funny, and knowledgeable. We saw hundreds of fish, a huge starfish, and held some slimy jellyfish. And the weather was perfect!! I highly recommend!

The actual kayaking wasn’t horrible, kinda enjoyable. It was super dark with little to no light expect the very small one on your forehead. The passage is about 4 miles long in total so get ready for a workout. Also, if you’re a beginner in kayaking I wouldn’t recommend. You’ll get left behind in the group with no light or help from your guide, at least that was my experience with the guide Dee. There were points he was so far ahead with the group he couldn’t even see us (safety hazard). It made us super uncomfortable and uneasy. We were actively kayaking for about a hour and a half which seemed super long at night in the dark. The guide also wasn’t much help on tips on how to best maneuver. We had to just figure it out as we went. Overall 2/10 experience. I recommend the led light kayak night tour at the Marriott instead!

Took a fantastic night kayak excursion with Lance last night and I couldn't be more thrilled. Lance was patient and very kind. The trip was informative, relaxing and a great experience. The mangrove is amazing and even though i didnt see a ray or turtle this time, Lance did scoop up an inverted jellyfish that i got to hold. He also pointed out several conch and took me over by the octopus rock. There were a couple home but were difficult to see because they color change. The pirate history was informative and enlightening. I would highly recommend this to both families and individuals that love the sea and it's ecosystem. You will not be disappointed. Thanks a bunch, Lance!

Awesome experience! Devon and Bri were super helpful with accommodating our group of "kayakers" with varying levels of experience. We observed jellyfish, the mangroves and explored the reef just before the ocean. The stars are beautiful out at night and we saw the International Space Station "star." Will definitely be back!

Top 3 things we did on the island without a doubt. It's a cool ambiance, super relaxing after a busy week or day. Devon was the man. Pulled so many cool animals up from the lagoon to show us, stories aplenty, and rarely didn't have an answer for a question.

Devon and the VI Ecotours crew was a highlight of our trip! They were incredibly welcoming and reassuring that we were gonna have a blast. It was just two of us and our guide, Devon, the night that we went. Devon made sure that we got to see all the sights and wildlife on our tour and told us the stories of the island and the lagoon in great detail! Devon was truly phenomenal, he was very tired from a long day of tours but he still made sure to give us the experience we were hoping for! Our experience has definitely made us want to come back again and to check out the other tours that they offer.

The trip was calm and relaxing! Seen few marine life but our guide "D" was amazing! He kept us entertained throughout with history and knowledge of the area. My fiance and I loved the paddle but had we taken my teenagers they may have been bored, would recommend a daytime kayak and snorkle for that age group. However younger kids would like it. Glad we got to experience the mangroves at night and will definitely be back, but for a daytime tour next time on the island! The location on Honeymoon Beach, St Johns, is really nice as well, have a beach bar and grill and rents out snorkles and kayaks as well. All around great company with friendly staff!

Mr. Devon you were amazing. Highly recommend you as the #1 Tour Guide

Spectacular, Breathtaking, simply amazing are just a few words to describe this wonderful experience on the STT Night Kayak Tour with Mr. Devon. I was very afraid to go through with this amazing adventure, but Devon made everyone feel safe and secure. He took the time to instruct us on how to properly use and operate our kayaks. He had a wealth of knowledge about the different mangroves, (red, white, black and buttonwood), and sea life. We got to see and touch the upside-down jellyfish, Cassiopea.

The haunting storying telling was spooky but hilarious because at one point during the story, a fish bat came flying out of nowhere startling everyone, adding much suspense and excitement to the ghost stories.

The most amazing part of the tour was when we turned off our lights and experienced the absolute silence of the mangrove and see the beauty of the night sky.

I most definitely will be back to experience this tour in the daytime where I can visit Cast cay, stingray alley, walk on the reef and try to snorkel. Hopefully

This was one of the highlights of our trip!
When we asked the taxicab driver to take us to the Mangrove Virgin Islands Ecotour location, he was confused and wondered if this was what we actually wanted to do at night. We said that was correct, and he laughed. This made us a bit hesitant, and we began questioning our decision, but we made the right choice.
We got there, completed the paperwork, waited until the tour time began, and then started the adventure. Our tour guide Devon (Dev-on), was really great. One could tell that he really loved this tour and the area. He was so good at helping everyone feel safe and confident with the kayaks. He was very good at staying with the group. He was a fantastic storyteller and did an excellent job at explaining the mangrove trees, their significance, and other information about the wildlife we encountered. I don't want to say anymore or I'd ruin all of the fun, but all of us really enjoyed the entire experience! Don't forget to give your tour guide a tip!

Difficult to find the words to truly describe the beauty and magical ambiance of the Lagoon, the easy part is talking about the staff. To Devan and Joseph….you guys truly made this experience an unforgettable one. The knowledge about the ecological benefits the Lagoon provides to Saint Thomas and the Caribbean Sea. The creatures within it as well as the historical facts of the Island……all was easily presented for everyone to enjoy. Hope you also get to enjoy the many stories Devan is willing to share…especially those not so easy explain…..the quiet and mysterious setting is perfect…do not be too surprised if you walk away experiencing a sound or a vision your mind won’t be able to logically made sense of. highly recommend!!!! We truly had a great time!!!

Devon and Elvin were great tour guides and really knew what they were talking about in regard to the local wildlife and stories. I went with friends and it was a really fun tour. 10/10, would definitely recommend it if you're a tourist and especially if you're a local.
