      Great Crew with Big Blue!
Our group of 10 family members had a great half day of snorkeling, swimming, boating, and exploring Iguana Island. Our captain and crew were all first rate: very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Thank you Libert, Jake, and Gineille!

All Female Crew = An AMAZING Day!
Our group of 10 booked a North Shore tour on White Sands and we had such an amazing day. Captain Cole and her crew Allie and Amber were absolutely fantastic. They fed us all day long and made sure there was plenty to drink to keep us hydrated. We have booked other tours before, with other companies, but this was our favorite. All 3 women were so personable and attentive, not only to us but to the ocean environment. It was so refreshing to witness such care and concern. The vessel is immaculate and comfortable. Plenty of sun for those who desire it, and plenty of shade for those seeking respite from it. The typical snorkel spot was packed with boats, so Cole took us to a less popular spot that was equally as beautiful and far less traveled. We were fortunate enough to see three nurse sharks during our adventure, and it was truly magical. When we stopped at Pine Cay to anchor down for a few hours, eat lunch, and enjoy the beach, Jojo the dolphin came right up to the boat. He must've been there for a good 10 minutes or so, just swimming and playing with everyone. He left and came back a few minutes later with Bo, Sarge, and Scooter. The other 3 didn't get as close, but Jojo came right back to the boat as if to show off his family. It was incredible! This is a day that none of our group will ever forget.

      Awesome day snorkeling in TCI
Weather was amazing as were Jake and Ellie. Very personable and informative. Boat was in very good condition and appropriate size for our group size and adventure. Saw amazing things such as: eagle rays, great variety of reef fish, hawk bill turtle, squid, sharks, southern rays, and a small group of dolphins (with calf) - with whom we swam! The whole group had a really great day and we made new friends. The day with Blue Collective was a real highlight of our trip to TCI (we have gone to TCI numerous times over the past 15+ years. Thanks Jake and Ellie!

Staff was great but the weather wasn’t good for snorkeling. The water was choppy and exhausting. Too expensive overall.

The Best Day With Ali & Libert
If you are comparing options for a private charter in Turks and Caicos, do yourself a favor and stop your search at Big Blue Collective. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our trip with Ali and Libert. They were so fun to spend time with on the water, super knowledgeable of the area, professional, and paid attention to every little detail. They even went out of their way to provide snacks for my sister with dietary restrictions. They customized our itenerary once we arrived to the dock and shared what we wanted to do. For us, it was snorkel, cruise and see dolphins! They took it one step further and let us swim with one of the resident dolphins here in Turks and Caicos. It was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. When I swam up to the boat for my phone, Libert had already been filming the entire encounter! Our trip with Ali and Libert exceeded all expectations and we can’t wait to book our next trip with Big Blue Collective.

      Edge of the banks tour
We did the edge of the banks tour with Mitch and Cole and we had an absolutely AMAZING time with them! We got to experience and interact with sooo much stuff when we did our tour! We swam with reef sharks, nurse sharks, stingrays, barracudas, parrot fish, conch, and so much more! The edge of the banks was our favorite portion of the snorkel! Mitch and Cole both were very knowledgeable and helped answer any questions we had and showed us a ton of cool things while out on the water! When we come back this is easily on the top of our list, thank you so much for the experience of a lifetime! Thanks, Aaron R.

      Amazing day of snorkeling
Fabulous tour. Sharks, dolphins, rays, barracudas, turtle, beautiful and diverse sites: fringing reef, garden, wall, cave. Caleb and Mitch could not have provided a better day for us.

Best day in Turks and Caicos!
This day was the highlight of our trip. Taken out on a nice comfortable boat with just a few people. The crew served us fruit, drinks and sandwiches all day. Stopped at 3 different magnificent reefs for snorkeling. And lunch at a small deserted island. I’ve never seen so many colors of turquoise in the waters we traveled. Turks and Caicos is expensive but I consider this excursion a bargain. Thanks to Libert and Mike who made it so fun and informative

      Boat Rental
Rented a 29 ft. boat for 4 adults and one ten year old. The rental was for 6 hours including a sunset. Cole the captain and Hugo the first mate were so much better than our highest expectations. The food, snacks and drinks were also much better than expected. We had a great time snorkeling, iguana island walking tour and cruising the sunset. This tour was tailored perfectly for us.

      Positively delightful
We took the private sunset cruise. This trip was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The women who greeted us and signed us in were so lovely. During our cruise, Jake and Roshane provided top notch service. The small bites were delicious fresh fruit and a delightfully savory charcuterie. Big Blue Collective gets two thumbs up… 10/10, highly recommend.

      Fantastic Scuba and Snorkel
Our family of four did a scuba and snorkel all day adventure to the North Shore of Grace Bay. Our guides were Jake and Rashane. They did not disappoint and were very informative and trustworthy. They were amazing guides and made our day. My husband and son scuba dive so they did two dives at the Northwest Point. Then they took us to a sandbar near the Keys and we had an awesome lunch and did a long snorkel. We come to Turks and Caicos every year. I will not hesitate to book big blue collective and ask for Jake and Rashane in the future.

I have always been a little bit of a skeptic about ecotours having been on so many that really were not what they were supposed to be. However, Big Blue Collective is THE BEST I have ever done, and I would do it and all of their other activities again. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and the group was out on the boat and hiking around Iguana Island for almost five hours. We saw so much sea life, and we learned so much. It was definitely worth the cost to do this kind of tour, and I highly recommend it on any visit to the Turks and Caicos.

My husband and I did the Kayak Eco Tour when we visited Turks and Caicos last week for our babymoon and loved every second! The water is gorgeous, the kayaking was fun and we were active but it was great for people of all fitness and ability levels. Rico was very knowledgable about the island and wild life and did a great job of showing us around. We saw so many sea turtles, lemon sharks, iguanas, and had a wonderful morning in the sun :) Would highly recommend this trip! (and the snacks were delicious too!!! Just what a pregnant lady needed!)

Our group of 9 had a private eco tour. Capt. Mark and his team were so knowledgeable and kind. We learned all about the local wildlife and sea life. They provided waters and snacks for our group. They happily accommodated our gluten and nut allergies. They are extremely professional. Definitely worth the money! We had booked with another charter company for a snorkel experience bc they were cheaper and regrettably we got what we paid for.

Big Blue Collective's Kayak Eco Tour was fantastic! Definitely a worthwhile excursion for those looking to enjoy a bit of nature while they are on vacation in Providenciales. They conveniently picked up at my Grace Bay Resort since it is a bit outside the main resorts there. All equipment is provided, just bring a hat, towel, and water. They offer both tandem and single kayaks and a great guide (shout out to Nick) who knows where to find wildlife and is great at spotting them. He had a fun sense of humor and made sure the group of mixed experience all stayed together and got to spot wildlife. On our group's outing, we saw probably about 20 sea turtles, jellyfish, several lemon sharks, an osprey, live conch, lots of up-close iguana encounters, and interesting birds flying all around. The scenery you are kayaking through is jaw-dropping. Truly amazing lagoons and bays with crystal clear, turquoise water, mangrove forest, and beautiful beaches. They break up the trip with a short hike on iguana cay and stop for lunch on a beautiful beach. All around great trip and it is worth every penny. I would definitely recommend it for solo or group travelers who have a half-day to spare on vacation.

On our first visit to Provo, my husband and I decided to book a kayak tour through the mangroves and chose Big Blue Collective. They are first class!! Our guide, Marcia, was fantastic! She guided our group of 8 across a small channel to Iguana Island first. She educated us all on the endangered, indigenous Rock Iguanas found on this island. Almost on cue, as she was talking they just wandered out to see us. Really cool! After walking around, she served us some wonderful snacks and allowed us some time to explore or walk in the shallow waters. We then headed off to the mangroves - amazing!!! Saw small sharks, a sting ray and so many turtles!!! It was such a fun trip - after 4 hours I was sad it was over. I could have stayed there all day. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting. Big Blue Collective is a class act!!

Hands down the best kayak tour we have had. Being a ocean/beach loving families we originally wanted to rent kayaks and do self tour. Sherline went above and beyond strongly recommended against it on a windy day and asked us to check back again for our safety. We ended up booking a tour for the next day. Our guide Ally is fantastic, She is knowledgeable, easy going and great with kids. She guided us and saw everything (turtles, baby lemon sharks, birds, and more). My kids, 13 and 10 (boy and girl), and my husband and I absolutely loved every second of the 4 hours. And that’s after spending 2+ weeks at the Bright Reef snorkeling daily and have seen many many ocean creatures. Iguana island is out of the world kind of peaceful and beautiful. The iguanas are adorable. When we reached the Iguana island, a big iguana was patiently waiting for us on a raw and unmanned beach, sadly next to an empty soda can. People, leaving nothing behind except bubbles. TCI is so beautiful and we can’t afford to keeping on polluting the ocean like we have been. We got lucky and was the only family for our tour. I would say if your budget allows a private family your is worth the splurge. And definitely go with the tour if you never done kayaked in the areas.

My family went on the activity that included kayaking to the mangroves and iguana island on December 18th 2021. Our tour guide was Ali Oudman and she was the best! I would book a tour with her every time! She is super knowledgeable of exactly where to go in the mangroves, helped us spot so many turtles, and was so patient and let us stay in each area for a long time. She looked for a spotted a baby shark which made my 6 year olds day. Ali helped guide our kayaks along the correct path to get to and from the mangroves and iguana island safely and efficiently. She gave the best tour of iguana island along a long wooden path. She taught us that iguanas are territorial and stay near the same place, and she knew where most of their burrows were. We saw so many iguanas! (We did NOT feed them, as it’s not good to feed wild animals.) Ali brought each of us a bin of snacks - fruit, muffins, and my kids’ favorite a brownie! She was super nice and kind to my 6 year old son and 9 year old daughter. She’s great with kids. I can’t recommend this activity enough! It was the highlight of our trip to Provo for me!

Kaia led our group of 8 (reasonably fit/over 55 year old) guests through the mangrove estuaries and over to Iguana Island. We saw rock iguanas, sea turtles, baby sharks and more. Kaia is both knowledgeable and passionate about sea life and the Turks and Caicos ecosystem. The Big Blu Collective is well organized and uses sea kayaks for their trips. The tour lasted the full four hours with a break from paddling to walk around Iguana Island and enjoy a snack (provided by them) of fruit, baked goods and ice water. Plenty of sun protection and shoes for walking are must. They have a small selection of reef-friendly sunscreen, rash guards and large brimmed hats in their shop. It was an enjoyable outing that I would recommend to others.

We had a wonderful experience doing the Kayak Eco Tour through the mangroves with Blue Collective. They picked us up from the lobby of our resort to take us to their establishment and dropped us back off as soon as the tour was over which made transportation so easy. In emails leading up to the tour, they informed us of everything that we should bring with us. They provided us with all the gear, water, and even brought snacks for us!

Our guide was amazing! He knew so much about the ecosystem of the mangroves but was able to impart his knowledge in an interesting way that wasn't technical and included humor. He was able to spot sea life that we would have missed had we been kayaking on our own. He took pictures of everyone with their own phones/cameras which was great.

I would highly recommend this tour, and we would definitely do other tours with Blue Collective in the future!

We took the Kayak Eco Tour. We were a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 twenty-somethings. Our tour guide was Ali. She did a wonderful job telling us the history and ecology of Turks & Caicos, kept our kayaks safe during large winds, and pointed out all of the beautiful turtles! We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.
