About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- djbPA0 contributionsLobster lobster lobster 🦞Had a great time on Isand Vibes Tours. We went out on a full day private tour. Quality time with my kids and grandkids. It rained a bit but Captain Lex and First Mate Palmer made it a great time despite the rain. We’ve been going out with them for many years and they never disappoint. Lobster season and Palmer caught 6 lobsters 🦞 This made our day! We skipped snorkeling as we’ve done it many times but added fishing. We usually catch many fish and they cook it up. This year we didn’t catch any. That’s ok because we had lobster along with chicken, ribs, corn on cob, potatoes. All delicious. We also had fruit and backs. Plenty of pop, water beer and rum punch. The day was awesome. Thank you Lex, Palmer and Island Vibes! Until next year!!!Written August 14, 2024
- Destination5294490 contributionsGreat afternoon. A Turks and Caicos must. The afternoon was a trip highlight. The boat is perfect size (group of 8) and Isha and Alpha made the experience perfect. They could not have been nicer and just made an afternoon with good music and snorkeling so much fun. I highly recommend this group. Professional from booking to end of excursion. And the staff were top tier.Written August 11, 2024
- F726GKTBELP0 contributionsGreat tour company, and great fun!Awesome way to explore Turks and Caicos! Lamont and Jake were super chill and fun, and the company was responsive when I had questions or wanted to confirm the time and place for pickup. It was our first time visiting so we stopped at the popular destinations (a nearby coral reef for snorkeling, Iguana Island, the shipwreck, the private island for lunch). Our favorite stops were a more secluded sandbar at the end of the excursion, and some super calm waters that were perfect for jumping and sliding off the boat. Great music, tasty lunch, and unlimited cold drinks throughout. Would definitely do this again, and would ask about customizing even further now that we've been to the more typical first-timer stops.Written August 11, 2024
- MLPHSJazz0 contributionsYou won’t regret this!!Highlight of our vacation!! Lex and Cisco were fabulous- very knowledgeable, great customer service, so fun! Beautiful snorkeling, delicious food, breathtaking views. 100% recommend this trip!Written August 2, 2024
- 104merrittm0 contributionsWonderful experience and crew!Absolutely incredible! Our crew, Anthony and Alpha, were amazing and we had a blast. Alpha was a fantastic snorkel guide- we saw a reef shark, flounder, squid, conch, and more. Anthony was an excellent captain. They were attentive, kind, and knew all of the best spots. Our light lunch and refreshments were wonderful. The highlight of our trip, money well spent!Written July 26, 2024
- Cruiser594223038240 contributionsGreat Luxury ExperienceIf you are looking for a luxury boat we did 2 four hour tours with them last week. The first one was so good we had to do another because its was so much fun and informative. The boats were clean and the captains were very professional which made our trip even better. They really don't say no to anything and aim to do whatever you are looking to do. There are lots of choices but I can honestly say we had two good experiences with these guys and will definitely rebook when we come back next year. Thank you Rebello and Staff!Written July 20, 2024
- Nathan H0 contributionsAmazing Boat TourWe had 3 families on a 4-hour tour and.m it could not have been better. Crew was Anthony and Cisco and they were amazing. First stop was a great snorkeling spot Next we went over to Iguana Island for a quick walk around. They next took us to a small shipwreck. After that, we went a little off shore to have fun off the diving board and slide. The ride back to the beach was a huge dance party (partly fueled by great rum punch). We saw some amazing things ion our trip (sharks, ray, and a dolphin). I know they can’t guarantee anything in the ocean, but Anthony and Cisco were on it! They played into our party vibe and our kids had a blast dancing and singing all the way back! Anthony and Cisco - thanks for an amazing day!!Written July 18, 2024
- FELISHRUN0 contributionsA MUST DO!So much fun and absolutely beautiful! Boat staff amazing-DaShawn, Phillip, and P.C. WERE OUTSTANDING ! We loved this tour we did it twice. Great snorkeling we saw sharks, stingrays, swam with a dolphin, and plenty of beautiful fish. Food sooooo good, and on both trips they were so kind to my granddaughter (age 7).Written July 17, 2024
- RAWIRI M0 contributionsIncredible, unforgettable dayUnreal day. Island Vibes crew made this a day to remember, and nailed it with a great combination of professionalism, personal touch, unforgettable experience, and just straight up fun. We were picked up on the beach of our hotel (Wymara), and spent the day exploring the coasts of Turks & Caicos. The crew was very knowledgeable of the history of Turks, and regaled us with facts about each beautiful property we passed and the native lands we experienced. Their safety intro built confidence in their safety measures, as well as experience in managing these tours. Snorkeling was incredible, with an experienced free diving guide showing us local fish, including grouper, parrot fish, native coral, and a slew of other marine wildlife. We came across a family pod of dolphins and swam with them for a time, which quite honestly was the most amazing experience of my life. Our lunch of fresh seafood was absolutely amazing and a once in a lifetime experience. The crew was fun, friendly, and helpful in every way. We would, and plan to, definitely schedule another trip with this company and very much appreciate all of their hard work in making our trip special and unforgettable. Thank you, guys!!! đź’™Written June 30, 2024
- erinfQ9159HY0 contributionsThe BEST day in Turks! The BEST day in Turks! Snorkeling, BBQ on the beach, slides, rum punch, they had it all! The team that took us out all day was knowledgeable and fun, which made it extra special. We sat up on the roof and took in the views while Sunny D told us all about the island, hooked up our music and relaxed all day long. Perfect day on the water.Written June 30, 2024
- Kirsten A0 contributionsIsland Vibes Never Disappoints!Island Vibes never disappoints! We have been out with Island Vibes many times over the years and always have a great time. This year was no exception. Cisco and Emilio gave us a fun filled day with snorkeling, sea turtles, dolphins and beautiful scenery. My kids love jumping off the boat and sliding down from the roof. We also enjoyed a very special surprise - a birthday cake to celebrate our twins turning 13. 4 hours was not long enough! The logistics: We chartered a boat for 4 hours from 9am-1pm. The crew picked our family of four up on the beach in front of our hotel. Cisco and Emilio arrived early so we were on our way before 9am. While the boat can comfortable fit more that four people, we really enjoy having it to ourselves for a few hours, What to bring: sunscreen, towels, camera and your favorite playlist so you can connect to the boat’s Bluetooth stereo. We also bring our own snorkeling equipment but Island Vibes also has some on the boat, What is provided: snorkeling equipment including fins, life jackets and other flotation devices, sandwiches, fruit, chips and drinks. Where to go: given we have been out before, we knew we wanted to snorkel but the sea turtles and visit the sand bar. We also knew we wanted extra time for jumping off the boat. Talk to your captain about the best itinerary for your family. The crew: amazing! The captain stays with the boat while you snorkel but the other crew member will snorkel with you, show you around, help the kiddos if needed, etc. they make it easy and we always appreciate having someone to help guide us. We highly recommend Island Vibes. There is nothing better than being out on the beautiful water.Written June 30, 2024
- 160Emily0 contributionsGreat experience!Had a wonderful time with the family on the snorkel excursion! Had some fun snorkeling, saw beaches so gorgeous they didn’t seem real, and ate a great lunch on an uninhabited island. Would definitely recommend!Written June 28, 2024
- 12SPLASH0 contributionsFun TimesWaldi and Deshaun were the best host for us. We loved every minute of our trip. They made sure we got to spend extended time on the sandbar and we got to take a beautiful conch home. We also did some wonderful snorkeling. We felt safe and cared for. Would definitely go out with these guys againWritten June 21, 2024
- N6038ARmicheleh0 contributionsAwesome Day on the CatamaranLast week my family used Island Vibes for a Private Full Day Catamaran Excursion. Anthony ("Clarky") and Jake took excellent care of us. We had a blast and it was the highlight of our trip to Turks. They took us to a great snorkel spot where we were able to see the beautiful reef. We even got to see a reef shark and dolphin. We stopped along the way to catch some Conch and had a very delicious BBQ lunch complete with the fresh Conch we caught. After lunch we were able to cruise around and enjoy the beautiful water and use the slide and diving board for lots of fun in the water. We included tubing in our tour and our family had so much fun being pulled on the tube. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the island. We had so much fun and did not want the day to end. I would recommend however bringing bug spray with you as the mosquitoes were plentiful at the BBQ lunch Beach Stop.Written June 11, 2024
- Scotty_0030 contributionsExcellent Boat Day!We took a private full day excursion with Captain Lamont and Coach Phillip. Great guys that took us for numerous stops on cays to swim and snorkel. We saw JoJo the famous dolphin, reef shark, turtles, and lots of marine life. We had a great BBQ lunch, plenty of drinks, we played our own music, and had a terrific day. Cannot say enough great things about these guys. 5 Stars!!Written June 5, 2024

We did the half day snorkeling cruise the week of 1/10/2020; since it was very windy, we checked in advance to see if it was cancelled and it was not. So.....we get to the reef, in the rain, and there are probably 2-3 foot waves & the boat is bouncing around. Four people chose not to get into the water. Of those that did, 3 women were almost crying when they got back on the boat; others said they didn't see much. So:
Pro's
Lex & John
Jumping/diving off the boat in calmer waters
Service
Other people on the boat were fun
Con's
Should have cancelled due to weather
Sandwiches were pretty bad
Don't understand the fuss of making pico served with Doritos - skip it

Snorkeling wasn’t the best. Saw lots of coral and fans but few fish. The guide in the water kept stopping to tell corny jokes. We went for the snorkeling and did not appreciate all the time tredding water. Too many people on the boat and lunch was mediocre...chicken or turkey wrap.

Unfortunately we can't say anything about our excursion. Our first email confirmation stated pick up at our resort so I didn't thoroughly read the second email sent... so we missed our pick up location by literally 50yards ( my error I know). When I saw the boat cruise by I immediately checked my email ..ugh I called right away explained what happened they didn't offer to come back and pick us up and they were literally two hotels away down the beach...🤬🤬🤬 sooo maddening!! They just said sorry to hear that 🙄( really meeee tooooo! I asked if I could reschedule for the afternoon outing she says "nope its all booked sorry again) still didn't offer to contact the captain and send the boat back. (They all phones and communicate with the office/ boats. ). Well what a disappointment it was literally our last day there and it was booked days in advance like most everything else you need to do there. Fortunately we were able to get in with another company and we had an amazing time with them! Everything happens for a reason. Maybe next time customer service will improve with this company for future patrons. We won't try again Unfortunately. The company we use made sure they had everyone on their pick up list even if it meant we started out a little later than scheduled ( not one person complained on out boat about this ) they even went back to pick up locations to see where miss patrons were. Caicos Dream Tours and Captian Kwee thank you for saving the day !

Hi Annie,
It's unfortunate to learn that you missed the boat, and we understand your frustration.
Please note that we are on a time constraint and it may seem easy to turn the boat around and go back, but we have many stops along the way.
We have much smaller vessels than the other company you went out with, leaving us with a limited amount of people to fit comfortably on our boat. For safety reasons, we can't just add people to scheduled tours without overloading our boat.
We are happy to hear you were able to get out on the water on your last day.
Blessings,
Island Vibes Tours

Yes, your trip was canceled due to poor weather conditions.
Since you booked with a third-party platform, not Island Vibes directly, you needed to contact Viator for a full refund. I hope this clears up the payment situation.

So much wasted time. We made 5 stops waited around for people to board and fill out forms ect.. By the time we got to snorkel spot it started storming. Clearly they don’t control the weather but we would have been able to get at least 30 min before the storm without all the stops and wasted time talking and idling the boat.
Then we went to Iguana island, didn’t see a single Iguana which again was out of their control but added to the disappointment. Lastly we stopped to slide, jump and swim. That was the best part! The drop offs were much faster as I felt like they were on a mission to get home, wished that same speed would have happened in the beginning of the trip. The captains were nice but it seemed very disorganized and the theme was “let’s waste time” I’d pick another company and ask questions about the actual tour time not just riding the boat for pick ups and drop offs.

This was an amazing half day trip. The snorkelling was amazing, we saw some sharks, barracuda and a ton of parrot fish and lots more. The guide was great, he made sure he knew where everyone was in the water and kept us wanders close by. Half moon bay (Iguana island) was a beautiful beach, we didn’t see many iguanas but we also didn’t search them out. We enjoyed the amazing beach for the hour instead.
I wasn’t too excited about the slide and diving board part of the trip until we got there, it was way more fun than I expected. The water was so clear there and everyone had a great time encouraging others to dive or slide. The rum punch, beer, water and soft drinks were constantly available. There was also a bag of chips and a wrap for a snack along the way. The staff was amazing about making sure ALL garbage was in the garbage bin and nothing flew into the water. Oh, we also saw a mom and baby dolphin, they stopped to make sure everyone got to see them from a distance that didn’t interfere with the dolphins. That was a bonus.
Leial and Alpha were our guides and they were both awesome. Friendly without being over the top, and very professional. You could also sit up top which had nice padded lounge seating.
I would 100% recommend this trip. We had 20 people total on board which was a good number.

Our family of 4 went on this snorkeling trip. Our Captain, Akimo (sp?) and his first mate, Joey, made us feel welcome, taken care of and like we were in for a party! It was so much fun cruising through the gorgeous turquoise water to our snorkeling spot. After a fun snorkeling trip that was so clear, we stopped on a beach and explored iguana island, swam and relaxed. We hopped back on the boat and were served wrap sandwiches and chips and went out deeper and jumped off the boat and slid down the slide into the water. Everyone had a ball! During this period, one of the girls on our boat dropped her phone. The boat crew was so quick to respond and jump in, they found it in under 3 minutes! It was incredible! Then back to the drop off point. I know it is a significant investment for a group to pay but we all felt it was worth every penny. And, gratuities are appreciated and definitely earned.

This was an awesome boat ride. It was so much fun and the crew were so professional, playful and fun all at the same time. Brian, Dennis and Elvardo were top notch. That boat ride was definitely an event to remember and a highlight of our trip, thanks to the crew.

I had a fantastic time out on the boat with island vibes during my recent trip to TCI. The hospitality was amazing upon arrival we were greeted by the welcoming crew, and revived a warm welcome from Lex who had the whole boat laughing. We then snorkeled seeing all the beautiful coral as our guide Terrence expertly led us through. We went to a lovely beach then jumped off the boat. Captain Palmer kept everyone involved and happy while doing flips off the diving board and having on the boat everyone to jump off. Overall it was an excellent experience and I will be doing it every time I come to TCI would 100 percent recommend.

This excursion was definitely one of most memorable experiences of our family vacation. Captain Lex (“…Luthor with the dreads” he called himself) and his First Mate, Joey were a dynamic pair who kept us entertained throughout the entire tour. Great music, delicious rum punch and comedic bantering between Captain Lex and Joey kept the fun going all day. During the snorkeling session Joey made sure that everyone felt SAFE and comfortable regardless of your level of experience. One thing I truly appreciated with Joey was that…as a father with kids who were snorkeling for the first time in the ocean…I began to spend my time watching their every move, then I saw Joey right next to me saying that he’s got them too and ckecking with them to ensure they were okay. This allowed me to relax a little and enjoy myself as well.
Next leg of the trip was Iguana Island! Beautiful beach with sparse vegetation hiding our scaly friends (at least the ones who were not camera shy). A quick walk through the vegetation and you’re in a hidden treasure of deep to shallow clear water that you can walk across to the other side with a slightly higher piece of land and more of our scaly friends.
After the hour long visit to Iguana Island Captain Lex and Joey provided a quick lunch of chicken and turkey wraps while on the way to our next stop which was a section of water where the boat was anchored and we were allowed to dive off the top of the boat or go down the slide…accompanied again with great music. Then we were dropped off at our pick up point.
Thank you Captain Lex and First mate Joey for a great time…we will definitely look you guys up again when we come back!
One love!

Do you offer 8-9 hour boat days for a group of 10-12 if so what would the cost be roughly

Yes - the furthest you go out is to the reef for snorkeling, but it is not out of sight of the islands. Otherwise the trip stays fairly close to the shorline

Is it safe to go on the tour at 5 months pregnant? I am coming for my babymoon but still want to snorkel.
Written July 9, 2021
As a male and not a medical professional, I am not sure I am qualified to answer that question.
However, the ride was smooth and not too bumpy. Snorkeling can be tiresome with the waves and current, but they offer life vests which can make the experience much easier.
