          Interesting tour of capital
Great experience with Khaleel. On time pick up from our hotel and he explained the overview of the tour. We asked him to make the last stop at a recommended food stop which wasn't included but he helped us order our lunch which was much appreciated. Tour was great and very interesting and Khaleel is very easy to get on with and a great driver! Would use the company again if we return to Trinidad.

          Great value - fantastic tour
Just my friend and I on tour which was perfect. Khaleel was great at giving us a historical review of the island. It definitely was worth the price and would highly recommend!

Great guides to Trinidad's forests, waterfalls, beaches and wildlife
My son (11 years) and I did the day trips: Caroni swamp, mud volcano, turtle watching, beach-hopping (coastal tour), Avocat waterfall hike and Asa Wright eco-lodge visit. All were great and good value for money.

Excellent Tour of Port of Spain
What a wonderful and refreshing tour! Khaleel has such a welcoming and easygoing personality. He took his time and explained the sights around. He is patient and answers your questions. Being in Port of Spain during the Independence weekend was lovely to see how the buildings were decorated with Pride! Fort George has the most stunning views of the capital and west side!

Touring as a solo female traveler
I was visiting Trinidad for the first time with my son's football team and had one day to see some of the island. I was based in Port of Spain and took the Eco-cultural experience with Khaleel as my tour guide. I was nervous about being a lone female traveler as I had been warned by my hotel that ensuring personal safety was very important in Trinidad, but cannot stress how safe I felt on this tour which was just the two of us as it was off season. I was put at ease the moment he collected me at my hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting all the historic and natural sites with a very knowledgeable tour guide. I highly recommend this tour and Khaleel!

          Excellent customer service!!!
I recently visited Las Cuevas Beach with my young daughter. Our tour guide, Khaleel made our trip a very pleasant one. He was also very knowledgeable about the local history and we felt very safe. I would definitely book more tours with Island Experiences in the future!!!

First & Best Time in Trinidad
This tour was AMAZING! Our driver Khaleel, was incredibly professional, and wonderful tour guide. He was patient, and considerate of our needs and gave us options of how best we could see specific sites in Port of Spain. Incredibly down to earth, and relatable. We will definitely be using this organization again in the future.

Good tour- highlights Pigeon Point, Nylon pool.
Our tourguide Edith was amazing. Gave us a nice tour of a few places and came with us on the boat tour (she provided snorkel equipment for us at the reef). Friendly and knowledgeable. Edith - 5 star rating on her own. Stefan who did our airport transfers excellent - also 5 stars on his own. A few things: 1. We had curried crab and dumplings at Traditions. Food was good. Service from the lady cashier was not "with a smile" which thew off the vibe from first impression. They did not explain to us where to collect the food when it was ready so we were sitting having drinks almost an hour and our food was waiting to be collected at an almost hidden spot in the back. No notice when ready etc. There was a mini sign at the collection area which was not noticeable (esp if you wear specs like me). 2. I'd say the sight seeing tour is not needed. Perhaps stop off at Fort George alone and Pigeon Point/Nylon Pool. 3. Day was very long. 16 hours end to end (out hotel 6am and back 10pm). We were unable to get an earlier flight due to summer vacation time. Book early to avoid this. I'd say you don't need more than 4 hours for Ft. George, Nylon Pool, Pigeon Point (including lunch). Not much else that stood out re: sightseeing. So may want to shorten the end to end time/customise the tour. 4. Be prepared for attitude from Tobago airport staff - security area where your bags get scanned. Sour faced, attitude, power trippy.

Nice way to lunch/spend the afternoon.
Wonderful trip. Jenelle, our tourguide, was on point and very warm/friendly. Bake and shark amazing. We opted for Richard's. Waters a bit rough and there was some rain this time of year but chairs and tables were available to rent. Nice stop at the lookout where we bought chow - local fruit delicacy. Reason for removing 1 star: Lockers at Maracas available to rent for TT$60 with 50% refund if key was returned by 5pm - the outlet was closed when we got there, well ahead of 5pm. We were advised to go to some office to get the funds but did not want to spend our vacation time doing that. If you'd like to avoid that experience, go with minimal valuables/cash or ask your tourguide to secure it in the vehicle.

          Trip to Piort of Spain
Great time letting about Trinidad and its wonderful mix of cultures! Toured the city with Khalil educating us about many of the historical events. Initially, the wether was perfect for this of the year and even managed a very walk around Queens Park Savanah. Then, headed to Maracas’ beach on the north side of the island. A bit of rain but not enough go to diminish our great experience!!!

excellent organized, high educated and flexible guide, enjoyable and very interesting day tour, Falk
On our request in addition to the Day Trip to Maracas Beach the Guide K. shows us in advance interesting places in Port of Spain, like Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Queen’s Park Savannah, City Centre, Ferry Terminal, National Academy for the Performing Arts, Parliament.. The guide has excellent knowledge about history of the country and knows a lot about interesting places along the tour.

          Fun filled hiking experience
Fun filled hiking experience: view points, winding mountain roads, local sweets and snacks, cool trail along riverbed, waterfall, beach time… One should note that hiking in the Caribbean is wild…need to be on all fours at times, wade through hip deep water, use a rope to pull yourself up or get yourself down… Guide was very helpful, tells you where to step to avoid slipping - I did slip once and fell in the water, but it was shallow, all fine just more laughter - and helps to keep you steady, pleasant chats in between, pointing out different plantations: dasheen (taro), cocoa, chaconia… Wear appropriate shoes, bring towel and change of clothes, go for it… and if you are like me who cannot get enough spicy food, load the bake and shark - basically a fried fish sandwich - with the hot pepper sauce 😋 Booking agent: Dominique, do speak to them, they’ll recommend hikes that match your fitness level, and tell you what to expect Hiking guide: Derreem, thank you for taking me 😂

Nice tour, pleasant guide. We were in town, just before carnival. The guide took us to visit 4 pan yards. Which was amazing, to see all that dedication and musical talent. And of course a peak into the local culture. We hired a guide, to make sure we would not end up in unsafe areas or other trouble. It worked very well. Our guide showed us around, made sure we were allowed to take pictures (film is not allowed) and got us drinks etc. I would definitely recommend this tour around the steelpan yards. A real peak into culture and local music.

WOW!! What an amazing experience! I started the tour with little knowledge of steel drums and left with a great appreciation for the drum and the musicians! Stefan was AWESOME! He explained the instrument’s history and the importance to the Trini culture. We saw 4 or 5 different groups who all had a phenomenal sound and great musicality and arrangements. It truly is a really beautiful sight to see and hear. Everyone is incredibly talented! Plus, Stefan introduced my friend and I to doubles and now we’re addicted! Thanks for limin with us and the fun night out!!!

I did the Steelpan Yards tour on Thursday evening and was thoroughly entertained by the Renegades and the Silver Stars. We also enjoyed doubles and beer.
