About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- bdelsavio0 contributionsEpic Difficult HikeOne of the most amazing hikes I have ever done. That being said, I have a few recommendations. The hike itself is a minimum of 4 hours. And is challenging. I’m in pretty good shape and I had to dig deep to finish. You get a bottle of water and some fruit at the start. It will not be enough. Bring water and snacks. The hike is technically challenging with rocks, ash, and lots of steps. Plan accordingly. Our guide “Tall man” was knowledgeable and hilarious. He (and the views) made it epic. Enjoy!Written January 30, 2025
- Resort107121963460 contributionsAmazing! We had a fantastic time. Kevin, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. He showed us several things we wouldn't have seen otherwise, got to see tons of the island and had some amazing rum punch. It was a great value. Would totally recommend.Written January 26, 2025
- zubayerh20250 contributionsIncredible Day at Dark View Falls with Topdawg Taxi and ToursMy trip to the Cascading Dark View Falls and Beach with Topdawg Taxi and Tours was nothing short of incredible! From the moment I was picked up, the service was top-notch. The driver was punctual and super friendly, sharing fascinating facts about the local area as we traveled. The Dark View Falls were absolutely breathtaking! The cascading water surrounded by lush greenery felt like a scene out of a movie. I especially appreciated the wooden bridge leading to the falls – it added a touch of adventure. I’d recommend wearing comfortable, non-slip shoes, as the area near the falls can be a bit slippery. After soaking in the beauty of the falls, we headed to the nearby beach, which was pristine and peaceful. The soft sand and crystal-clear water made it the perfect spot to unwind. I’d recommend bringing a towel and some snacks to fully enjoy the beach time. The only minor downside was the short amount of time we had at the beach – I would’ve loved to stay longer! Still, it was an unforgettable experience. For anyone planning to visit, don’t forget to bring a camera because the views are stunning, and you’ll want to capture every moment. A big shoutout to Topdawg Taxi and Tours for making this trip so seamless and memorable. Highly recommended for nature lovers and adventure seekersWritten January 22, 2025
- Vacationer2636540 contributionsFalls and Beach tourDriver and guide were excellent. Falls were nice, but a long drive. Pirates of Caribbean was touristy. St. Vincent’s is a beautiful, lush island. Would have liked to have spent more time at the beach.Written January 19, 2025
- NigelRAndrews0 contributionsPerfect St Vincent tourExcellent tour. Driver went out of his way to make everything perfect for us and was extremely helpful with our wheelchair. The tour was excellent value for money and he showed us so much in the time allotted. Highly recommended!Written January 11, 2025
- Tangodana0 contributionsLa Soufriere VolcanoMy husband and I normally don’t do guided hikes, but we loved this! John, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the volcano, its history, and the plants. He brought the volcano, its history, and the people of the area to life. Wayne was our driver. He drove safely, and was also a wealth of information, giving us a driving tour both going out and coming back. We would definitely do this hike again with TopDawg Tours. We would also do another tour with them.Written December 17, 2024
- S23VQmelissac0 contributionsNot as advertised at all. Great staff. This tour was absolutely nothing like what was advertised and what I purchased based on that advertising. There was no stop at the market or the Methodist church - why advertise that and then not offer it? The gardens were amazing and the highlight of the trip. We also did not go to the Fort, apparently because it is closed for repair after Hurricane Baryl - but other people on our boat were able to see it so I am unsure why we could not - they told us it was open and they had no trouble getting in. The beach was a bust and a waste of time. You get accosted the second you get on the beach to pay $20 USD for a chair, and if you don’t, there is no place to put your things while you swim. The staff will rudely tell you that the tour company pays for you to walk from the parking lot to the beach and that is it - everything else costs. The two shining stars of the day were Pavan and our driver (whose name I forget but who was also lovely). They were amazing.Written December 11, 2024

- RoBez20200 contributionsMagical experienceAfter a wonderful experience a couple of days earlier with our guide Norris and TopDawg Taxi and Tours doing the Dark Falls Tour, I signed up for this tour with them. In addition to the iconic climb up to La Sofriere, the whole experience was super fun as we got to explore the Windward side of Vincy - the coast and beaches are wilder. Sensing our enthusiasm to explore fully this part of the island, Norris drove us through the center of the island on the way back to our hotels, and this gave us a pretty interesting flavor of some neighborhoods and villages up in the mountains and away from the beaches. La Soufriere hike was moderately challenging but well worth it. We had a special guide "Tall man" John who accompanied us on the hike, He was full of information and factoids about the history of the volcano, the various eruptions, the endemic flora/fauna of this region, the herbal medicines that come out of what grows here, and various other such interesting insights. This engaging conversation made the uphill climb up to the crater much easier. Whilst the views at the top were immersed in clouds and fog, the place itself is still magical.Written July 12, 2024
- RoBez20200 contributionsA must-do, fantastic tour with an awesome guide - just do it !An awesome half-day experience on the leeward side of the St. Vincent Island in s small group of 5. Our guide/driver Norris was absolutely top notch and we got an amazing birds-eye view tour of this gorgeous side of the island along with an engaging and insightful commentary about the culture, the history, the people and flora/fauna of these beautiful country. The tour is set up to hit all the key highlights and viewpoints of the island in a well-paced manner, including a short hike and time to soak under the gorgeous Dark View Falls and the fun, quirky Pirates of the Caribbean set. Norris was extremely solicitous to our needs, a keen listener to our many queries, and perceptive of each person's interests. He left no stone unturned to ensure we had a fantastic time with him. Not only did we not feel rushed at all during the entire tour, but he went out of his way to make sure we got to check out all the sights of interest to us, and he even made various bonus picture-taking stops for us. Additionally, he had us sample some delicious local delicacies as well as fresh fruits along the way, and of course, the shots of rum punch! All in all, a wonderful, not to miss experience if you happen to be on St. Vincent.Written July 12, 2024
- karimbO1372MN0 contributionsLa Soufriere hike and windward coast experienceMy second tour with Topdawg tours. Beres, again, our outstanding guide. Wayne back at the office was fantastic in communicating and coordinating the trips. Both seem to genuinely want their clients to have fantastic experiences and connections with their beautiful island. I learnt a huge amount on the hike about the volcano and the local plants, we unfortunately had a cloudy/foggy day up top but it was still an awesome experience in a special place. I particularly enjoyed seeing the stunning windward coast and comparing it to our previous tour up the leeward coast. Thanks!Written June 26, 2024
- karimbO1372MN0 contributionsAmazing views and cultural experiences up the leeward coastOur tour guide, Beres, made it an absolute priority that we all enjoyed ourselves. He went above and beyond to show us the most beautiful views across the island, he was hugely informative and communicative about the islands history, culture and people. The waterfalls were spectacular, the pirates of the Caribbean set was fun, and I loved the fresh mango and rum punch! Thank youWritten June 26, 2024
- C4098FGgregc0 contributionsNot what is used to beI have been hesitating writing this review. It has been over a year since I vacationed on Bequia (my 11th time) I usually stay 4 to 6 weeks, Bequia is not a lost paradise any more. What was once an oasis of charm, peace and tranquility has changed in the last few years, Cruise ships dropping of 3000 people on the island has utterly ruined the island. Although the ships do not stop every day when they are there the island is overrun with cruisers. They take up all the bars, restaurants and beaches and leave those of us who are staying without food and drinks in the evenings. Takes days to resupply these items. The island is just not prepared for the massive numbers of cruise passengers. Hotels are booked in advance. Do not arrive without a reservation and be sure to have a written confirmation from the hotel. The people who live on the island are the nicest people I have ever met, making you feel welcome. The beaches are wonderful, and food is good (when available). Stay away from the town and beaches on cruise days. I remember Bequia when it was paradise.Written June 26, 2024
