- lansingm20250 contributionsThe most awesome day ever! This was the best day of our vacation. The Blue Water Safari crew was the absolute 💯 % best crew! They were friendly, fun and entertaining. The catamaran was wonderful, and riding on the net was so relaxing and beautiful, especially when they put up the sails. We had great wind the day we went. We sailed to a gorgeous cove far away from the marina, where we spent 45 min snorkeling. The water was clear and a beautiful turquoise color. We saw sea turtles, a big green eel, huge lobsters, and many colorful fish. Lots of beautiful sea life. Lunch was delicious and the open bar refreshing. We highly recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed!Written March 23, 2025
- Melanie J0 contributionsGreat Excursion with snorkeling and lunchThe crew were friendly and attentive. The meeting spot was close and easy to find. Just ask anyone at the port and they will point the way. Started with a relaxing 45 minute cruise to the snorkeling spot. Had about an hour to snorkel then got back on the boat for lunch. Lunch provided was great (grilled chicken, chopped salad with a selection of dressings, some sort of chick pea dish, pita bread and delicious blueberry or banana muffins. Sodas, water, rum punch and beer were included the entire time. The ride back we sailed closer to shore to see more of the sights up close. I really appreciated the pool noodles to use as I’m not a strong swimmer and usually stay on the boat while my family snorkels. The noodles allowed me to enjoy snorkeling as well. Would definitely recommend.Written March 23, 2025
- Anita G0 contributionsFun day on a catamaran!Fun tour! The crew was great and entertaining and very attentive. Knowing where to find them was a little confusing because it’s beyond all the other tours meeting place, but head to the marina and you’ll find them. Lunch was good too!Written March 22, 2025
- LMPego0 contributionsGreat tour - even better crewWe did an excursion off a cruise with these guys in May 2024 and loved it so much that we booked the same tour this March. We did a kayak and snorkel trip with them and the location and crew were amazing - we kayaked to a nice protected cove. Sadly it was rainy this trip, but the snorkel spot when it was sunny the last time was one of the best snorkel spots I’ve ever been to in my life. Alex is a great snorkel guide and fantastic at pointing things out and making sure everyone gets to see everything. Blue and the other guys (sorry I don’t remember their names,) were great at making sure the group stayed together and everyone was safe. I remember Alex and Blue since we had them as our guides last year - it was so great to see a couple of the same people. I probably should do something different the next time we visit, but it would be hard to pass this up again - plus the rum punch and island candy was delicious,Written March 17, 2025
- Kathleen L0 contributionsThe crew was great! explained They everything and were very patient. The snorkeling here was the best on our trip!Would highly recommend to others! Lots of fish and Turtles great spot for Snorkeling. Sandi and his crew were fantastic,Written March 17, 2025
- abK9403LC0 contributionsWant to see reef and fish? Book a different companyBoat was clean, lunch was ok, snorkeling was terrible! Had to look hard for any fish over 2” long. No reef, just a bunch of rocks w seaweed. We were told St Kitts best snorkeling area- if this was the best- skip it! Wasn’t impressed with some of the staff. The shorter guy complained about his job the whole time and was extremely sarcastic about everything. Don’t waste your time or money with this one.Written March 16, 2025

- 314luciae0 contributionsDO IT!!!10000000/10. I went along with my friend, us both 19 year old girls, and it was an amazing experience. We were treated with the utmost respect, and it is obvious that the group has their organization for trips down to a science. Our guides would drive into the water to point out different animals, and we were lucky enough to see turtles and a sting ray. When we were done with snorkeling, we got fresh fruit and juice while hanging on the calm water. Very inexpensive for the experience. Would recommend to anyone, and make sure to bring some cash to tip the amazing guides!!!Written March 13, 2025
- Mary0120180 contributionsGreat experienceThis is our third trip to St. Kitts and Nevis, and we always enjoy the private power catamaran tour. We highly recommend it and definitely plan to return! Thank you to the crew for this delightful experience!Written March 9, 2025

- 864hopew0 contributionsProfessional, fun catamaran tour!My family of 4, including two teenagers, enjoyed our trip with Blue Water Safaris. I will say, it wasn’t the easiest to find once we got off our cruise ship but that could be because we were early. The crew on the catamaran were amazing. Shawn and his team were all so helpful, kind, and informative. The lunch they served was delicious & plentiful. We have taken similar tours on another cruise and this was much more toned down, not a “booze cruise” after the snorkeling like others have been. Yes, there were some that drank a good bit, but the crew were super fun yet professional. As soon as we got in the water at Shitten Bay, my husband spotted a sting ray. There were lots of fish to see, too. I’m not sure of his name, but one young man on the crew, he gave myself and my teenage daughters so much history of St Kitts & Nevis. It was an added bonus to this tour that I wasn’t expecting but so appreciated. He was really impressive and I enjoyed chatting with him.Written March 8, 2025
- Tyler B0 contributionsFun time, helpful guidesThe experience was great! For one the gentleman working there were great and very helpful. They checked on me and my girl a few times and made sure we were okay and helped us get our kayak into the water no problem. If you plan to snorkel up the coast you’d want to be a strong swimmer, but if you’re not, there’s a pretty cove to snorkel in—and they also have a safety boat for needed rescues, which makes the coast snorkeling safer. So good for people of all ages who have the energy for it. We saw squid, starfish, schools of fish and coral marine-life. Again the gentleman/tour guides there were knowledgeable and good at what they do. Experience as overall very fun. Only recommendation for them would be to find someway to bring water to the snorkeling launch point. It should be expected to bring your own water for this occasion, but I heard some grumblings!Written March 7, 2025
- Daniel M0 contributionsSpecial Day on the all-day Catamaran from St. Kitts to NevisThe crew spent most of the time entertaining the guests. The music was awesome. I wasn't able to snokle, but my daughter, grandson, and granddaughter- law and they saw many species of fish. The lunch was very good and the open bar was a plus. The day was very enjoyable 😉Written March 5, 2025

Great trip with Blue Water Safaris. Meeting point easy walking distance from the cruise ship. Well organised. Crew on the boat were really friendly and helpful. Quite windy so the sea was a bit choppy both ways but the captain tried his best to avoid the worst bits. Food and drink available on the beach.
A couple of things to be aware of. You have to climb down a ladder from the boat into the sea when you arrive at the beach and the beach slips away very steeply when you go into the sea. We saw a few people having to be helped out of the water by the lifeguard.
Great value compared to the cruise ship excursion which also came to the same beach and for about a third of the time we were there.

This experience was definitely a 5 out of 5. We went in July which is the off-season. The boat is a 42 foot powered catamaran and produces a very smooth, confident ride. Captain Tuna and Alex were so friendly and responsive. Drinks such as sodas, water, rum punch, and open bar items, are severed aboard. We rode straight to Pinney Beach on Nevis for several hours of beach time. There are beach staff to help with get settled in your included chairs and umbrella directly in front of the water or to serve you food and drink at an additional cost. There is some shore snorkeling and a restaurant called Sunshine’s. The beach is long, flat, and sandy. On the trip back, the captain takes you through a short tour of the local sites from the ocean such as Booby Island and various famous places seen from shore. We made one photo stop on shore at a rock outcropping and I jumped and and swam around to cool off. Such a beautiful, easy-going trip to Nevis! Totally worth the money!

It was easy to find our meeting place and the boat that took us over to Nevis was really nice and clean. The crew members were not friendly at all which we thought was kind of strange. No one spoke to us other than the female who initially checked us in and that was the only time. Nevis was beautiful, clean, and we felt very safe. The loungers were very nice with filtered shade. The water was warm with gentle waves. It was difficult getting in and out of the water as there was quite a drop off. My husband had to help a few elderly people to get out. Drinks and food were really good and reasonably priced.

This is the second time we’ve done this trip to Phinney Beach in Nevis. We had 8 people on board the first time which was great. This time, due to the recent storm, another boat was in dry dock so we had to take 8 plus an additional 49 people from a Cruise ship that were doing a St Kitts/Nevis tour. The boat was way too crowded. Once we got to the beach we saw that the beautiful beach was hit by the storm and there was a large pitch to get to the water. The ocean was still beautiful and swimming was nice. The trip took off an hour late because we had to wait for the cruise folks and since they had to get back before their ship left we lost that hour and came back early. It was still a fun day and I will do this again next year.

It’s about a 40 min boat trip to the beach in Nevis. Crew of boat nice, good music. They give you 3 “ drink “ coupons each. A farce, in a way. They use the tiniest glasses, does not include coke. It’s beer, rum punch or regular punch. For instance a sm bottle of beer fills three glasses. The beach is nice that you go to. On way back fun dancing to music.

There is a lack of communication between the guests and crew. When we arrived it appeared as though the captain didn't know if we were getting off the boat and being driven to the beach or we were going directly there. Upon arrival, lots of confusion as to when we were returning and where from. This also added that it wasn't 4 hours of beach time and if your not very amblitory getting back on the boat from the beach can be difficult. Although we enjoyed the beach, the place we were dropped off at was expensive for food and only had worn out chairs and umbrellas. For the price and confusion if your looking to get to the beach consider a water taxi.

This was an excellent excursion! Great crew that really made for a wonderful experience. They were on time, plus very professional and personable. We enjoyed the clean well kept motor catamaran and ... rum punch while aboard. The price included two loungers and umbrella along with the beach where our island hostess Ebony made sure we had drinks and lunch (not included, but very reasonably priced). We had plenty of time at Pinney's beach, which is beautiful and NOT crowded. The ride back was spectacular, our captain skirted along the coast pointing out things of interest. This was our 39th visit to the Caribbean and I would rank this as one the top 5 days we've spent there. When we have St. Kitts as a stop on future cruises we will do this again!

Friendly staff, cool beach excursion. Not crowded and internet and food available onsite (at beach) at the Lime Bar. High speed double hulled boat that takes 45 mins to get there from Port Zante. Port Zante is right beside the cruise terminal so it’s a short walk to boat. Would definitely do again!

It was a rough 30 min boat ride over because of the waves but, oh so worth it.
The beach and the water are a slice of paradise. It was quiet and very relaxing. There were people coming by boat all morning but, we never felt crowded. We do recommend going on the early boat. There was food and drink available and, Ebony was the best hostess! She made sure we had everything we needed.
We would definitely go back to this wonderful beach!

This trip was not what we booked. We were under the assumption that we booked a catamaran, when in fact this was a high speed ferry. I only booked because it said catamaran. The man explained to me that a catamaran took longer, so they changed.
That amounted to a bait and switch. I would not have paid what I did for a ferry.
The people who worked for the company were very nice, but they had a lot of upset people on their hands.

If we take 10:30 AM catamaran when will we be back at port?

I am short, overweight with rt knee issue. I have been on Catamaran tours before, but the were from a dock. Will I be able to do this excursion?
Written September 21, 2019
We boarded the catamaran from the dock in St. Kitts. However in Nevis, we had to climb up and down into about a foot of water at the shore. The crew was very helpful, so I guess it depends on how comfortable you are with that.

Is there a guarantee that we will visit Nevis on this particular tour? I see in the description it says 'sometimes'.
Thank you

We chose the beach only. There were 8 others on our same boat who were dropped off at a different location for the tour of Nevis.

Are there noodles or any type of floats at the beach? I really don't want to bring a noodle but I love floating in the ocean. Also, is there good snorkeling? We will bring our own snorkels but want to see lots of fish.
Written March 20, 2019
There is no beach toys available. You will need to provide that. There is snorkeling areas. We saw a few fish.
Written March 31, 2019
Wi-Fi is not readily available but depending on where you visit we were able to use Wi-Fi at one of the restaurants and we spent time near the hotel where we beached to jump online for a bit. My suggestion is too enjoy the excursion and jump on Wi-Fi when you get back, it’s a relaxing trip and the boat trip is very enjoyable.
