About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- W4801WRdavet0 contributionsA lifetime highlight!Annie was a pleasure to work with—and she amazingly got us booked on a boat with just one single day's notice! Antonio welcomed us aboard with warmth and good humor and a wealth of knowledge not just about the island but about al the amazing wildlife he was able to show us snorkling and around the coastline. Lunch stop at Sunshine's was also a highlight. An unforgettable experience and worth every penny, not to mention a pleasure to support such friendly, welcoming and hard working folks.Written August 10, 2024
- Loceim0 contributionsFalse Advertisement. Do not book as a solo traveler!I would just like to warn others that St Kitts is not solo travel friendly, this company included. After struggling for a while with many cancellations as a solo traveler, I found this tour company and booked through them. Why? Please see attached photo. It says no group too small on their own website, but that is untrue. I would also like to mention I booked directly through the website as this tour company has wildly different pricing depending on the website. There are 3 different prices listed for the same tour on here, "the v" website and their own. I booked this tour July 2. I received an email receipt and separate confirmation email. I heard nothing else and thought it was fine. Only to receive a voicemail, while I was in the air mind you on July 10 that they were cancelling me because they need a minimum of 3 people. I have no issue with that (as I stated I quickly learned St Kitts doesn't like solo travelers) but why advertise on your website that no group is too small. False advertising. The voicemail ended with it "it is beyond our control" I don't know if she was talking about the trip or my refund, which as of July 13 I still have not received but I will give it a few more days. The cherry on top was the email I received this morning saying Thank you for coming on this tour and please review us..Huh?(photo attached) I hope this is not some scam or set up to try and say I went on the tour and not give me my refund. As I stated I will wait a few more days to see what happens. I do no recommend this place for the false advertising, lack of communication and whatever could potentially be going on with my refund. I will be reviewing soon how I did get to go to Nevis, AS A SOLO person, but it wasn't with Annie'sWritten July 13, 2024
- 882kellief0 contributionsFriendly and accomodating! We had a great time with Annie and Robert! We connected wtih them early to do the St Kitts tour and then we used them for taxi rides all week AND a private 1/2 day tour of Nevis. Very responsive, friendly, and accomodating. - danaQ62CG0 contributionsVery good tourOur guide, Joe "the pastor" was exceptional---knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The tour itself consisted of a viewpoint of southern St. Kitts and a visit to Romney Manor, with continuous narration from our guide. The van we took was also quite comfortable.Written March 31, 2024
- ronnal1630 contributionsRun away!!!If I could give them a negative review I would. Do yourself a favor and avoid them like the plague. We booked the Ultimate Rum Runner St. Kitts tour with them over a month ago. This tour was supposed to lasted 2 1/2 hours and they charged a little under $100 a person. We met the tour operator as scheduled at the designated meeting location. He had our names on his little clip board. He took us to first stop left us there to “get his car.” The guide came back 37 minutes later with another group of people and told us that our tour had been cancelled and an email had been sent out. That never happened. In fact, the account where we booked showed our group as still active. Instead what likely happened is that the tour operator booked another group of people for more money per person - they said they paid $150/person - and dumped us when they could make more $$$. This questionable- scammy - business practice left us without the ability to book another tour that we may have wanted to do. Not just that, but we tried to call the number on the wrist band and two other advertised numbers, but all were inoperable!!! In my personal opinion, this is not how a reputable organization functions. And to add insult to injury 4 days after they claim to have cancelled the trip they still have not refunded the money.Written January 21, 2024

We toured Alexander Hamilton’s museum which was so informative. Make sure you wear your bathing suit and visit the hot springs. You will be glad you did. The trip includes lunch which was so delicious. We visited the Sunshine Bar and enjoyed the famous Killer bee cocktail! They made arrangements for the quick water taxi for us back to St Kitts. We wanted to see all the sites of St Kitts and upon reading the reviews decided to book with Annie…..to say this was a exceptional experience is an understatement! There was one ( if not the best ) tours and tour guides we’ve all been on . From start to finish you will love this tour of St Kitts and love this company . Annie knows the island very well and in this tour you will experience it fully ( this is no nickel tour)
We very much enjoyed our time together with Annie and our adult children and would highly recommend her company to anyone that wants to experience the sounds and sites of St Kitts !

Went on this tour with my husband on 5 Feb. After the initial confusion as to which guide we were going with, we found that Joseph who told us was aka Spooney, was our guide. A lady called Annie, who I believe was the owner, came to the meeting point and was not very clear as to who was with her, which is the reason I mentioned the initial confusion.
Joseph was a very pleasant man and very knowledgable about the island. He pointed out various places of interest along the way.
The stops made, Romney Manor, Wingfield Estates, Brimstone Hill Fortress & Black Rocks were all excellent and would recommend this tour, especially if you are only on the island for a few hours. Although there were no children on our bus, the places visited would be interesting to children of a certain age - especially the Fortress.

Annie gave the four of us an outstanding tour, full of history, local color, humor, and a glass of her "secret" rum punch. She is enthusiastic and easy to understand. Would heartily recommend her tour for anyone that wants to get a sense of this beautiful island.

We did the Full Island Tour today with Annie and were not disappointed! She is truly a lovely lady.
She picked us up as arranged from our hotel and then took us to Port Zante where another couple joined us. Her van is modern, clean and the comfortable ride and air conditioning were appreciated, she is very Covid secure and provided sanitiser etc for us all.
Annie has lived on the island for over 40 years and everyone seemed to know her along the way, in our opinion she went above and beyond and is a font of knowledge on everything.
The tour included our entrance fees to Brimstone Hill and to Romney Manor Caribelle Batik and I loved listening to Annie telling us about the plants, fruit and flowers along the way.
We were given amble time to look round the sites we visited and did not feel rushed at all, as well as the sites mentioned above we also visited black rocks and Timothy Hill but Annie pointed out so much we would have missed along the way.
When the tour had finished we wanted to look round Port Zante and get some food and were going to get a taxi back to our hotel, she offered to come back and get us at an arranged time and spot which saved trying to find another taxi, it then felt like she was carrying on with the tour as she told us loads more on the drive back to the Hyatt.
Lastly but not least Annie makes the most delicious cakes which she had in the back of the van for delivering to family and friends for Christmas, she did not hesitate to cut into two of them to let us try a piece of her coconut and Sorrel cakes, they were so tasty 😋
Thank you again Annie for such a great day out we learnt so much.

If you want a boring, dry tour in monotone voice that puts you to sleep...THIS IS NOT IT! Annie brings her humor and vivacious personality to shine on this tour, making sure you laugh and learn while exploring this beautiful island. I'm not usually one for guided tours because if the monotonous voice buttons was great. I left feeling like I owed her something in return for all she gave us. She was very kind to help me navigate from Nevis to join the tour in St.Kitts. she was very accommodating to the guests' needs on the tour. Guided tours should learn from her! If you have only 1 day in St.Kitts, this is where you need to be! We saw gardens, fortresses, markets, Black Rocks, you name it! She also makes a mean rum punch so try that as well. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the mixed group, in the comfortable van. She also does private tours and walking tours in St.Kitts and Nevis so call her for any of your tour needs and she will be sure you have a great time. Trust me, you won't regret this adventure.

What an excellent tour! - Our party of 6 really enjoyed this 5hr+ day tour around the entire St. Kitts island, starting with a short local city street drive, then visiting rainforest/botanical gardens, forts with great vistas on top of the tall hills, and a few stops along the way around the entire island. Joseph was a great tour guide and provided a TON of detail about the French, British history of the island while touring from a cool/airconditioned mini-bus. This is really a great way to spend the day while visiting from a cruise ship.

The guide (Spoony) was not a guide but a driver. He just took us places and dropped us off, and then we wondered around by ourselves and tried to figure out what we were looking at.
Additionally, we spent the first 3 hours of this 5 hour tour being taken places to buy things rather than to the real sites. We went to a rum factory which was not listed on the original tour itinerary, where they tried to sell us rum. Then we went to Romney manor which promised to be gardens and a batik workshop. However, the gardens were really small and the whole place was just a store to sell us batiks. We spent a full 45 minutes there to try to get us to buy something.
The listing said we would go to a nature trail in the rainforest, but we didn’t.
After the batik and the rum factory we had very little time for the real sites and were very rushed. We went to brimstone hill fortress, black rocks, and Timothy hill, which were nice but we had no guide there and not enough time to explore.
Don’t book this tour, instead just hire a cab to take you to the 3 real sites which are on it. You will save time and money, and the “tour” doesn’t provide a guide anyway so a cab driver is just as good.

Annie was wonderful… The tour lasted five and a half hours, she made several stops and had a running commentary the entire time full of the island’s history. She also talked extensively about the trees, flowers and fruits that we saw along the way. She was very aware of what time we needed to be back on board and got us there in plenty of time for a drink at Cheers and a little shopping.

Annie is a fabulous tour guide. She is funny, knowledgeable and prompt. We toured the entire island and she could tell us something of interest about every parish, city and site. The highlights were Wingfield Estate/ Romney Manor, Brimstone Hill Fortress, Black Rocks, Port Zante, Basseterre, and Timothy Hill. She told us about all of the flora and fauna of the island. We got to taste local delights like Roti and Sugarcakes. So much history about colonization and Slave trade in the Caribbean and she knows it all.
I will definitely return and take this tour and others with her again.

Hey there - I was wondering how much time is spent at Brimstone and Romney. The times above say 25 and 15 minutes and that doesn’t seem like it would be long enough. Thanks in advance!
Written December 29, 2023
I agree both stops could use a bit more time at them than officially stated and probably do spend more time unoffically anyway.
If you are into Batik, then the shop may be for you. The gardens are very lovely as well.
As for Brimstone, I was able to tour the grounds at a comfortable pace without feeling rushed. It certainly felt like we were there longer than 25 minutes.
Note: By the time the whole group gathers it's more like 20 or more minutes at Romney and 30 or more at Brimstone.
Don't opt out of this tour thnking they are strict to the times quoted, as times are a bit fluid.
Folks are on island time. Hope this helps.

Royal Caribbean site states all excursions for St. Kitts should be bought from Royal Caribbean ( some COVID 19 regulation ) is that true? I see you are selling this tour to cruise ship passengers and just wanted to make sure we can do this.
