Captain Sunshine was so nice! He helped me get around the island and sightsee during my entire visit. I will definitely call Captain Sunshine again next time I visit.

Great tour for people cruising! Great driver! We would have liked more time at the fort and some better orientation. By the time we figured out, there was a museum inside the for, it was time to go. Museum film is dated and should be updated. So climb the Fort steps, and go into the fort and into the museum before you spend time, taking pictures of all the views! Loved the beach stop at the end of our trip. Recommend highly. Great guide in an hysterical open bus, Sound system was good. Guide - Capt JR made the trip memorable and fun with stops to see a Green Monkey and taste Old Road Rum. Shop local! Beach chairs and umbrella are available for a small fee.

We had an amazing time with Captain sunshine tour and services. Dominick was our tour guide and he went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable about his beautiful island’s history. We made several additional stops just so he could share some extra things about the island. We stopped to see and hold a monkey. He even took us to see several mongoose. He took pictures of everyone on our tour at the top of Timothy Hill. He seemed genuinely exciting to share information about the island and made us fall in love with St. Kitts. He dropped us at a beautiful beach and picked us up 2 hours later right on time. We would definitely use Captain Sunshine again.

If your on a cruise looking for an excursion on the island look no further. They took us on a detailed tour around the island and then to the beach, it was an amazing experience and very reasonably priced! Brian knows best was our tour guide, and he does in fact, know best!

We booked the tour through a third-party provider (Shore Excursions Group). However, the excursion was conducted by Captain Sunshine, and our guide was Captain Junior. When we booked the tour, we assumed that the main part of the tour would involve a hike in the rainforest. However, the first stop of the tour turned out to be an opportunity to take a photo with a monkey or buy souvenirs. Additionally, right before entering the rainforest, we made an extensive stop at a souvenir stand. It became clear to us that the tour was not what we had expected. The "hike" through the rainforest was more of a leisurely stroll where we occasionally stopped to admire rather uninteresting things. After about 45 minutes, our time in the rainforest was already over, and we were taken to a beach where we were supposed to be picked up after 3 hours. Since the beach was only "okay" and nothing special for the Caribbean, we decided to shorten our stay to one hour. The guide felt more like a taxi driver because he didn't provide us with much information about the island or the rainforest.

Kenny was our tour guide who was very informative and a great laugh. We did this excursion from the cruise port, no pre booking needed, $25 each. Made a lot of stops along the way (rum distillery, view point) and had a few hours at Frigate bay. People who did not want to stop at the beach were took back to the cruise port, and Kenny came back for us at the agreed time. Highly recommend!

Captain Sunshine did a great job and made my experience the best possible for my one day on Saint Kitts. Had a real friendly driver who happens to be the young nephew of the company’s founder. They really took care of me so I would recommend this tour especially for seniors like me.

Great tour in an open safari vehicle! Our Knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, Remarkable Randal took us around St. Kitts for 4 hours and showed us all the must sees of the island. Tour included Brimstone Fortress (tour included entrance fee), Romney Manor/Carbirlle Batick (where you will see how clothing is made) Old Rum Plantation, a short hike in a rain forest, Timothy Hill snd lastly the South Frigate beach with narration along the way. This is a must!

Capt Kenny was personable and more than willing to share information about his homeland and his childhood growing up in St Kitts. On our way to the forest, Kenny took a moment to drop something off to his mom and auntie before continuing on the tour - an unexpected but welcomed gift to meet and say hello to Kenny’s family. We were never rushed and Kenny took the time to answer any questions. Moderate hike, so where good sturdy shoes and when Kenny offers a hiking stick for use, take him up on the offer!

Captain Kenny was spiritual and welcoming! Part of our crew forever so much fun and beauty! Romney mansion was great and learning g about the island was awesome!

HORROR!!! DO NOT BUY THIS TOUR WITH CAPTAIN SUNSHINE!!!!! It was a nightmare! Shane, the guy that should have been our guide, did not take us to the places included in the tour, he did not explain anything. Never again! We had included the Fortress in our tour, but Shane didn't bring us there. We had to visit 2 beautiful beaches, but he took us to a beach near a construction site. Nothing like paradise. We paid 198 Euro for 3 people and got nothing for that money.

I don’t like to knock down a business because I know we’re all just trying to make ends meet but I would NOT recommend this company. I saw them recommended in a YouTube video so I decided to book with them. I had three things I wanted to do on this trip (sugar train, ATV and rainforest hike) so I emailed the owner asking if they could accommodate me. After over 10 emails trying to get confirmation and price, they said it was all set. When I met with the company, I mentioned my email exchange and they said they had no idea what I was talking about and said that "they deal with a lot of people" and therefore wasn't sure what they could accommodate. I never mind the answer NO but don't tell me YES and then I'm stuck. They start me on the open air truck and we sat in the parking lot and waited for over half an hour. Then they moved me only off of the bus into some enclosed van (not what the tour was supposed to be). It was hot and didn't have a lot of clean windows and you could not see. The rainforest hike was not really a hike but a quick walk through the trees. The tour guide was obviously killing time and made us stop a lot while he talked a LOT (about covid no less, and how he never got it, don't care, inappropriate). It was already noon and we hadn't done anything really, I finally complained enough where they dropped me off at the ATV place, which I appreciated, but I honestly wasted 100 dollars of my money booking this tour with them and I would not do so again.

We had been to St. Kitts twice before but had gone snorkeling or to Nevis. After walking down the pier and through the gates at the port, Captain Sunshine was waiting for us in front of the casino just to the right after passing through the gates. We saw Brimstone Fort, an old rum distillery (tasting $5), and Romney Manor. As we traveled through the town on our way to the beach our driver pointed out various local landmarks (churches, parks, statues, etc) and we stopped at Timothy Hill overlook for some photos. Our guide suggested Frigate Bay beach but I there are several nearby and I think you have your choice. At Frigate Bay the bar/restaurant had free wifi, beer $3, frozen drinks $9, two beach chairs with umbrella $10. Note: the dark volcanic sand on these beaches can get rather hot in the afternoon sun so you’ll want flip flops or beach shoes. After our time at the beach, we were taken back to the port shopping area and dropped off.
