Was supposed to show up at 330 did not show up til after 4. Was told I would receive discount of 30%, have not received any discount. Rushed the initial part of "tour" aka 15mins at starfish point, no time to snorkel or view starfish. Then struggled to get on bio tour because they thought tickets were not already purchased. Terrible experience other than the driver was a cool guy.

Hello Ryan. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our tour. We are sorry you did not have an enjoyable time. I also apologize for not being able to process your refund earlier. I usually handle client refunds and I was in the hospital the last 3 days so could not work on this. None the less, I have just processed your 30% refund as promised by Mr Johnson. We are sorry that the tour felt rushed but I was informed that there was lot of traffic because of which it took a while to get you to Starfish Point Beach. This was the main reason why you did not get enough time at this beach. We apologize for the inconvenience but this is something we cannot control and hope that you will understand.

I will start with the bioluminescence part was beyond amazing. The tour company’s representative not so much. There seemed to be very little understanding by our driver as to what we were doing. Although he drove us to starfish point he didn’t seem to know if we should snorkel and check out the star fish on our own just told us we’d be doing that as part of the trip to the bioluminescence bay. He dropped us off at Kaibo yacht club 3.5 hours before the boat trip and told us the boat would be leaving at 7pm. On top of that we could barely hear what he was saying during the drive to Kaibo. He wasn’t very clear and in our opinion didn’t really know what was going on or what the tour was about. I remember calling a few days prior to ask about the tour and he (the driver) had to call someone else to ask the question of whether or not we would be swimming. But the part that infuriated me the most was when we went to change (as they wouldn’t let you sit in wet clothing in the ride back) I left my towel with my swimsuit bottoms inside of the towel and instead of keeping an eye on our stuff like he said he would, someone walked off with the towel and my swim suit shorts. It really was completely unacceptable that he didn’t stay with our things when we were told he would.
The bioluminescence part was fantastic and the guide “Sugar” went above and beyond during the trip. Braving the waters full of jellies so we wouldn’t have to get stung. Caught a lobster for us to see at the expense of having his finger torn open. The bioluminescence was amazing and worth the trip. That was definitely worth the trip. But this was not, what we were led to believe a private tour at all so all things considered overpriced for the experience. Way cheaper to rent a car and drive to Kaibo Bay yourself and book the bioluminescence tour independently through the bioluminescence boat tours. Would’ve saved a ton of $$$.

Hello Louise,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for sharing your experience while on the tour. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and your family during the tour. We did communicate with you via email prior to your tour where we communicated to you what you would be doing on the tour and also what to bring alongwith.
With regards to your belongings, we have been assured by our driver that he was standing near your belongings as promised and when your wife asked if you all could leave your belongings in the bus, he had agreed to the same. You all chose to take your belongings with you instead. We are sorry your towel/swimwear went missing. We do not allow guests to sit in the vehicle in wet clothing as it damages our vehicles and we have communicated the same in our tour descriptions.
