- francopF5440QR0 contributionsThe best place to go at Grand CaymanMisko is amazing and he explains everything. The quality is totally wonderful. Many options of spirits. The tasting is generousWritten April 27, 2024
- otherpaul0 contributionsA good place with good spirits. This is a small gem of a place. We got there by taxi, the best way to go. We started with a tasting that included most of their products. We really enjoyed their 7 Fathoms rum. Their other rums and liqueurs were delicious as well. We were then given a tour of the distillery. There was, of course, an opportunity to buy their products but there was no pressure to do so. And, they let us know how we could get their rum in the states. The young man leading the tour was friendly and outgoing. Everyone there made sure we felt welcome. If you are interested in spirits, it is a great place to try.Written December 25, 2023
- melissabarronton0 contributionsGreat tour and tasting 👍🏻Fantastic tour and tasting at the Distillery! They have so much knowledge and history to tell you plus you get a taste of so many of their products and see the production process. Everything we tasted was great! If you like distilleries then don’t miss this one on Grand Cayman.Written November 29, 2023
- ChristieP4590 contributionsFabulous Rum and tour!If you get the opportunity to do the tour, please do! It’s informational and Misko is extremely entertaining! We thoroughly enjoyed it and we’re not even rum fans! Don’t miss this!Written August 15, 2023
- whoistfd0 contributionsTaste a little of the island funThis was a fun little tasting, with a little history thrown in. They have a great little place and the tasting spirits were fun. We brought back a couple bottles to the place were staying and had some fun using them in creative ways from cooking to drinks. We called these theme days where we take something and use it all day. The best one was amaretto theme, starting with amaretto butter, French toast, and homemade syrup, and finished with chicken with amaretto glaze. It was a fun way to experiment with island flavors.Written March 2, 2023
- 352jaclynm0 contributionsAmazing tasting rumsThe rum was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Unlike any rum I’ve tasted. Highly recommend doing a tour and tasting of this distillery. It will not disappointWritten February 15, 2023
- JPtravellers_100 contributionsGreat tour and tastingWe stopped in here during a Cruise stop. Took a taxi from the pier. We had a very interesting tour and delicious rum tasting. Seven Fathoms rum was prominent on a recent Top Chef Canada finals in Cayman Islands.Written November 22, 2022
- U7070EYdavidw0 contributionsGreat afternoon at Cayman SpiritsWe spent a wonderful afternoon at Cayman Spirits. Kudos to our host, Misko! The entire "tour" consists of tasting about 15 different rums with rather generous pours. The next part is a quick trip through the distillery--by quick, I mean about 10 minutes with just two or three stops. The best part of the day was listening to Misko, who explained the process of making rum and described each of the different varieties. This is a great way to spend an hour or so and I highly recommend it.Written November 6, 2022
- TylerEYeager0 contributionsAn easy add to any tripThe rum distillary tour was our afternoon excursion and it was a solid pick. Great service and great drinks. The Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.Written October 26, 2022
- O2403WNsusanw0 contributionsDon't trust website info.Did tasting through distillery.group of 5. Website says tour price is 15 usd. We were charged 15 ky,, 25% bump. Website also says discount avail for groups of 5 or more. Person doing tour never heard of that and did not offer or give discount. They also insisted on the ky charge. We went for 11am tour. Started over 20 min late, then we had to sit and wait longer as even later folks came in, and the guide went back to the start for them. Great for latecomers but we had plans afterwards. Did not get out till 12:45 and we were first to pay after. Rum selections were nice we enjoyed them. Tour was std small co tour.Written September 26, 2022
- michaelwoollard560 contributionsThe best rum experience on Grand CaymanThank Walker, very educational experience and definitely enjoyed your tasting. We have already started on Poseidon Gin and will probably have to replace the Seven Fathoms rum next week.Written August 25, 2022
- jimhN1767OL0 contributionsGreat tour!I was there a couple of years ago and it was a blast! Very good rum in many different styles and flavors. I especially liked the dark rum and bourbon barrel aged rum, and the 7 fathoms was really interesting. I even liked some of the flavored rums. Tour is very inexpensive for what you get. The distillery is not a massive production plant. It's a nice smaller place with real character. The people there really seem to go out of their way to show you a good time. Nice souvenir shop with many different items.Written April 4, 2022

...but it’s not great rum! My daughter and her boyfriend like good rum, so figured we would leave seven mile beach one afternoon and do a rum tour. I will have to say it was an entertaining tour, just wish the rum was better and that they didn’t blast the music so loud. It is a rather new company, so I’m sure their rum will get better with time. If you are 18 and want to drink a lot of rum, for $15 it’s a great deal. My daughter and boyfriend were taking tiny sips and poring the rest out. The flavored rums were kind of nauseating...very sweet, but a lot of the people on the tour seemed to really enjoy the rums! They encouraged everyone to pour the rum directly from the bottle into their mouths. It was entertaining to watch. If you want a great rum tour, probably need to go to Martinique.

Booked a tour through the company website. Paid $20 for a cab to get us there from the port, only to arrive and be told they have private tours already booked today so we could not tour. I explained that I already had reservations, and provided proof of reservations and the reminder text messages their company sent to make sure I remembered and arrived on time. The man working the desk (Ruben) said he understood, but that unfortunately we had been bumped. Ruben did attempt to get a manager for us as we were still unsure how we could get bumped when the reservation were made ahead of time. The manager did not come to talk to us, but told Ruben to give us a quick tasting before the other private party arrived. To Rubens credit - he was extremely nice with trying to explain everything in a short time and did call us a taxi for our return ride. Would recommend Ruben, but would not recommend the tour as confirmation and reservations mean nothing.

Was advertised as a 1hour informative tour it's lasted 23 mins the girl giving the talk seemed to have had a few drinks before she started the whole talk told us nothing about how the came to mature it under the sea all she did tell us about 2 rums each time how great she thinks it is then gave us a choice of only one each time and it was less than a teaspoon in the glass it was just a joke show and how quick she could do it. Then the walk in the distillery where you stepping over pipes boxes etc not health and safety then she just said what it's called no interesting information plus not giving us time to ask questions and was told she was the speaker not you.
I am so angry with this fake tour I will in form all my colleagues on island to stay away

I had no idea what to expect when I booked the tour, particularly since I live in part of America that has lots of distilleries. But when i arrived at the distillery, I was greeted by friendliness and fun. The tour guide makes the experience really fun as you taste the rum - imagine island partying versus stodgy tasting. Moreover, taking the full tour and seeing the distilling process is fun. The owners were on site and were friendly, engaged and interesting. Here is the key: whatever anyone says, Cayman Spirits is the only actual distillery on the island. So why not book them.

The tour of the factory was short but informative. The rum tasting was fantastic! Mishka was funny and knowledgeable. He gave great insight into the rum making process, made jokes, made sure to introduce any other employees we encountered and shared stories/history of Grand Cayman. Everything we tried was delicious and smooth. 10/10 would recommend.

Signed up for a tour on their website. When we arrived, it was clear that they were understaffed. It was a one person show conducting the tours, pouring the samples, and checking everyone out. Our tour started 15 minutes late. Our guide did a great job. Hw walked us through the distillation process and the tasting was fun. Their products were excellent!

By far a great tour! Your guide was awesome and made us laugh the entire time. Definitely worth the stop as the ONLY true Cayman distilled spirit. Recommend grabbing a patty or two or even lunch before heading over as you are tasting 10+ different liquors.

I was a little skeptical, because I was sure the tour would be repetitive and uninteresting but Misko and crew proved me wrong. This was a nice little interlude on a raining mid morning and the tour concluded with a peek into the production area. Misko is witty, knowledgeable, worldly and fun and you’ll try a wide variety of rums and even another spirit or two. Well priced at $15 and it takes just about an hour.

We did this on our own by driving to the distillery. We enjoyed the tour and had a great tasting experience. Our guide was fantastic and highly entertaining. He explained everything and was very happy to offer us anything to try. We thought the quality of the rum and other products was very high.

I am not sure. But I know the legal drinking age is 18 out there. They did not ask for ID, but no one in our group looked younger than 18.
