Not a just a trip, a MEMORY

It's been almost a year since we took our all day trip with Graeme and Travis. I've been meaning to post a review, maybe my first, but life goes by quick. With the COVID year we have all been happening I can't help but think of happier times. Like most people, I walked away from the trip thinking WOW - we have taken a lot of trip but that was beyond. My wife and 4 kids had broken jaws from the size of their smiles. It was small and personable, yet HUGE on experience. We have been to a dozen islands and have done dozens of excursions, but this was a step above. The snorkeling (with Graeme in the water identifying every fish), the stingrays, the starfish, the beach bar....the sunset! When we talk about where to go when COVID ends, my kids don't say let's go to Grand Cayman, they say "Can we go on the boat with those fun guys again?". Might be best money I ever spent. We WILL be back.

Made me want to move to Grand Cayman!!

I had such a good time taking the private charter. it crossed off 4-5 things on my bucket list and we only where out on the ocean for 3/4 the day. We where taking a cruise and this was above all my absolute favorite spot. Luke and Andreas did such an amazing job explaining things about the island, and good tour guides are something I never forget because they are really what shapes the experience, and to this day I still remember my favorite staff form universal studios :) and now Ill remember my favorite staff from Grand Cayman. One day I hope me and my best friend will be doing something we love the same way they do. The experience was also environmentally friendly (no trash was thrown in the ocean) witch is import to me personally because by the time that i'm 20-30 the ocean is my generations thing to deal with. I hope to do it again sometime!!!

10+ stars for Cobalt Charters
We had a fabulous trip with Jaco and Lars. To start, Graeme suggested we reschedule until later than planned in our week here due to windy conditions. He was spot on and very flexible with our wishes. Jaco planned our stops with us upon arrival, based on what we were interested in doing. We had the chance to interact with stingrays at Stingray City and learn a bit about them. Priceless! Snorkeling off Rum Point reef was challenging due to wind and currents. Jaco and Lars made extra accommodations to get us safely back to the boat. We finished out tour by slowly touring the mangroves and learning about this very delicate ecosystem.
Did I mention the great music?
Our guides were knowledgeable and easygoing, but had our safety as their primary concern.
Do not hesitate to book this charter. It’s well worth it and the best one I’ve engaged when visiting Grand Cayman.

Cayman boat tour
We had a blast. These guys are great. Fun helpful funny. We did snorkeling, stopped for a cocktail and then stingray city. Epic day on the water. Thanks!!!!!

Graeme was a huge help in planning our charter. Our crew, Luke and Andries were outstanding... Highly service oriented, attentive, timely, knowledgeable - could not have been better! Strogly recommend utilizing Cobalt!!

Book this now! I don't write reviews; this is my first ever. I was compelled to do so because our trip with Cobalt was so great! Everyone is professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Graeme made the scheduling easy and, along with our two captains, Marcel & Jaco, we were able to completely tailor the trip to where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see. Our captains were informative about everything on the island and made sure we had everything we needed. We stopped at a couple of beach bars, watched the sunset at Starfish Point, snorkeled in Bio Bay (which was amazing), etc. You can customize your trip however you like. My wife accidentally left her watch on the boat and Graeme was kind enough to personally deliver it back to our hotel the next day. We had a blast all day with Jaco and Marcel on the boat... great guys! I can't say enough good things about the entire crew. We will be back to Grand Cayman and another tour with Cobalt will be the first thing we book!

Great Charter and crew on my same boat i have in the US

WE had an amazing time with these guys. The boat was perfect for our family of 6 and they took us to a few places the bigger boats can't get to. I am a Cobalt boat owner and will definitely use these guys again.

Cobalt Custom Charters - Nothing is better !

My wife, daughter, and I spent the afternoon on a Cobalt Custom Charter. Yaco and Marcel our Captain and Guide. They came recommended to us by our concierge at the Ritz Carlton and they did not disappoint. We had total flexibility as to where we wanted to go. My daughter and I are avid snorkelers so they took us to little known spot by the barrier reef. The variety of sea life was like nothing we had ever seen.
They then suggested a peaceful ride through Mangroves. It was so beautiful and relaxing just coasting through the beautiful vegetation. We turned off the engines and you could hear pin drop. After that we went to another area to snorkel which was a bit more crowded but still nothing like the big charters that go out to see the Stingrays.
We stopped at Kaibo for a beverage and a snack, a quick trip to Starfish Island and sadly it was time to go back.
Why is Cobalt the only way to do a water adventure in Grand Cayman. First they let you decide what you want to do. Nothing planned. If you are not sure they are happy to make suggestions and fit the day to what you have in mind.
Second, the wealth of knowledge about the Island and sea life that both Yaco and Marcel had was unmatched to anything I have experienced in all my years of doing these types of trips. Marcel got in the water when my daughter and I snorkeled and continued to point out all special fish, coral and sea life. We saw some amazing stingrays and eels. Things I would never have picked up on my own.
Finally they know about the Island and the history of the area and had some great stories about their experiences as well. Wish we had more time to speak to both of them. They were a lot of fun to go out an about with.
I cannot recommend this group enough. It was one of the best days we have ever had on a vacation.

Hello, yes, we can pick up from Rum Point or Kaibo. Depending on where you're staying we would alter the departure point. There is an extra fee for this service though which we can add on after the booking is confirmed.

Hi Ann, thanks for reaching out. This is slow season and some of us are on vacation so I do apologize for the delay in response. With that said, our marina is only about 10-12 minutes away from the cruise ship port.
The ship terminal is on the opposite side of the island from where Stingray City and all the other activities are. Whether it is us or someone else, you're going to need to drive at least 7 minutes to get to the nearest marina.
The benefit of our marina is that you meet us at a store that sells drinks and snacks including alcohol so you don't need to worry about stopping and getting that stuff on your way down to us.
You are required to get your own ride. There is a readily available taxi queue outside the restricted area at the port. When your trip with us is done your Captain would call a taxi to have it waiting for when you finish.

The trip is refundable if the weather prevents us from running the trip or if we cancel for any reason. Generally, if you cancel more than 5 days in advance we will issue a full refund.

Hi Tommy, sorry that we just saw this question. They go to a different spot than the questions on our actual page and we just saw this.
With that said, you unfortunately can only book for 1 guest as this is a group outing. We will contact you after your booking to get an idea of your group size!

You're always welcome to extend once out on a charter with us! The Captain will be able to let you know what that extra cost would be assuming there isn't someone booked directly after you.
As for the sea conditions, your safety is our 1A concern and your enjoyment 1B. We'd never do anything to compromise either of those!
