Great experience with Humphrey. He was early on arrival. Van always had AC on. There were only four of us on the day we went. He took us all over this island exploring. We had many stops which helped us stretch our legs. The biggest standouts was his rum punch, taking us to feed iguanas, to taking us for a nice lunch spot in Marigot. We got to see the entire island. See where the Dutch/French borders were. Seeing the lookout spots to see Anguilla and St. Barths, Get a drink at a great bar/grill. My only small complaint. I wish there were a few extra bathroom breaks. The tour was only supposed to go 4 1/2 hours but with all the extras he threw in, it was over 6 hours. We were dropped at our hotel which was great. I would highly recommend this tour. Please ask for Humphrey.

          Great overview of the island
We took this excursion to see both sides of the island and learn more about St. Maarten when we were docked there in our cruise. The guide was super informative, and everyone in our party of 5 from ages 18-54 enjoyed it. They stopped to take pictuers at an overlook, pointed out resorts and landmarks, gave history of both sides of the island, and let us shop at an open air market on French side. We enjoyed getting smoothies, coconut water (in real coconuts) and souvenirs in the open market. When we returned to the port, there was great shopping before we got back on the boat.

          A wonderful day
We were a party of 6 and wanted to get to know the island via an expert. The tour guide Humphrey was excellent. On time, informative and knowledgeable about the island . We stopped at different vantage points on island to take pictures, along with a running commentary about the history. We also stopped at several highlight beaches on French and Dutch side. .. highly recommended tour !!

          Fun watching the planes
We had a great day, we first went to Orient Beach, the water was not very choppy that day so it was a great time swimming and the weather was great!! Then we went to Maho Beach! This was fun! You just can’t get enough every time there is a plane coming you just want to stand there watch the plane pass by you just above your head !

Highlights of Dutch and French St Maarten tour
This tour was top notch. Our guide Humphrey was extremely nice and super knowledgeable about the history, culture, and geography of the island. We made many stops, some briefs for photos, and 3 longer ones for beaches and lunch in Marigot. The bus was comfortable, cool, and supplied with assorted complimentary drinks. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Philipsburg. I’ve been in many tours and ship excursions and this one stands out as being great value for the money. Highly recommended.

          Disgusted!
What was supposed to be a “private” transfer ended up being a bus with other passengers! After I voiced my complaint, the decided to take the 4 in our party, privately to our hotel! What a rip off!! Could have just taken the bus for a fraction of the cost!

Amigo tours did a great job!
Great tour with Humphrey from Amigo tours. We were taken all around St Martin with beautiful stops on the way. Our guide was very knowledgeable & accommodating; he tried his best to give us a good time. The bus was in great shape & the air conditioning was a blessing in the heat! They also provided some coolers on the bus, which was awesome. Good value for money for sure! Something to keep in mind: If you are on a cruise ship, let the driver know your return timings at the start of the tour, as there may be a bit of a delay with traffic on some routes.

          Great Driver, Not Great Service
Your driver was very informative on our Orient and Maho Beach tour as he explained in great deal about the island. Your front desk staff was nonattentive and rude. We showed up an hour early because the tour was advertised as ship time. She never told us we were early and to use local time. After we waited and then asked what was going on she acted like we were bothering her. Then we waited even longer after the local time to get our ride. I would not use this tour service when there are others on the island.

Humphrey was a great tour guide and worth requesting
This was only tour/excursion we could find that hit both beaches we wanted to see for our 1 day stop in st maarten. Price was great, tour guide Humphrey was quite knowledgeable and was one of best tour guides I've had in my 20 years of vacationing. We had been to orient beach 10 years prior and it was totally different post hurricane from a few years ago. Next stop was maho/ sunset beach. Planes were coming in and place was packed. But this was to be expected. Would definitely book with tour group again

          A perfect half day experience!
Our driver was efficient and knowledgeable. He started the trip by telling us all about the island as we made our way to Orient Beach on the French side. The beach was beautiful, clean and had crystal clear water. We were given 2 hours to relax and enjoy. We were dropped off at Wai Beach Club. You can rent 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for $30. There’s no pressure to rent them and there is plenty of space just for towels if you prefer. You can still use their washroom facilities free of charge. We were offered cold drinks free of charge including rum punch when we got back on the bus which was greatly received We then went on Maho Beach to see the planes. We were dropped off right at the beach and given an hour which was plenty because it was very crowded. We saw 4 big planes land, three take off as well as a handful of small planes and couple of helicopters. I would highly recommend going for the experience and photos because they really are as close as they look! But you really don’t need long. Our driver then took us through Simpson Bay on the Dutch side for a sightseeing tour before heading back to the port with plenty of time for shopping before getting back on the ship. We were picked up at 10am prompt and returned to the cruise port for 3.45pm. A perfect half day experience!
