About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- L1326WCkristens0 contributionsExcellent Beers! My husband and I recently visited St. Martin on our honeymoon cruise and decided to do the “Beaches, Brews, and Views” Tour. This ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! When you pull up the outside of the brewery doesn’t look like much but inside is a different story. When we entered we went straight to the bar where we were greated with full glasses to start tasting. In fact, they made it a point to make sure our glasses were never empty. The beer tasted great. Even the stout, which is usually not my style. I genuinely liked them all and would love to be able to get some in CA. Besides the great beer, one of the things my husband and I liked most was our host, Simran. We visit breweries often and usually we hear about how beer is made which is great but we know this already. Instead she told us all about the journey of the owners life and how to brewery came to be. It was a great story and all of us were totally invested in it. We loved the personal touch. We also got to into the area where beer is made and packaged and poured our last glass right from the tank. From there we went to the Dutch Blonde Beach Bar which is owned by the same owners of the brewery. Here we chatted with the owner and ate some yummy tacos! I’ll be leaving a review there too!Written January 10, 2025

- mariafS8215ZB0 contributionsA Few Brews on a CruiseThis business is a treasure, and deserves all the attention. The beer that is made here tastes wonderful, and the assortment available during the taste tour is diverse. This is a perfect opportunity for any new 21 year olds to learn about beer, and an even more exciting opportunity for beer enthusiasts!Written August 22, 2024

- D7164TLmikem0 contributionsPleasant and fun!We opted out of a tour because of time restraints. But did do some drinking. I mean tasting. Had them all, and they were delicious. What made it for me though, was Simran. What a wonderful human being. They weren't really open when we went but she welcomed us in anyway. Such a sweetheart. So when you go, ask for the accountant tour. It will be awesome!Written May 30, 2024
- 651marshallm0 contributionsCheck it out!!This tour was Excellent! Simran was an excellent guide, showed us all around the facility, told us the fantastic tale of how the company got started and most importantly - kept my beer glass full!! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, especially if you're a beer drinker 😁 If you've got time, head to downtown Philipsburg and check out the restaurant too - there's lots going on there and the tacos and pancakes are fantastic 😋Written May 20, 2024
- katiemaricle10 contributionsA Hidden St Maarten Treasure! If you’re looking for a unique experience off the main path of St. Maarten, look no further than Caribbean Brewing. This is not your typical brewery experience - Simran will take you through the journey of the brewery while pairing their five beers that appeal to all connoisseurs of all tastes. Best of all, you won’t have to fight the influx of cruise tourists and you can enjoy a fun, quiet and cool experience with great drinks to match. I cannot recommend this enough.Written May 20, 2024

- ranner20130 contributionsGreat brewery tour! What a great tour! Simran is the most wonderful host. The story behind the company and the beer itself is amazing. My favorite is the Lager 🍺 - very lovely time spent there. We were able to meet the owner who is very Charming and down to earth. This will not disappoint.Written May 11, 2024
- JAX_Heel0 contributionsLocal Breweries are the best!My wife and I make a habit of visiting local breweries anywhere we travel. After walking to The Yoda Guy Movie Museum on a hot day off the Icon of the Seas, we were ready for a delicious cold brew (or 2). Closed when we arrived, Simran opened it up for us and was a wonderful hostess. She answered my endless questions with such grace and let me have tastings of the available brews on tap before I settled for the IPA. We bought a shirt and a koozie to help with our memories. We plan to return the next time we dock in St Maarten. Thank you, Simran!Written May 8, 2024
- Marathon590 contributionsA gem in the Caribbean. A craft brewery with excellent beers with a story behind its startThis brewery is very special as it is the only brewery of the island. Most beers are imported and only this one is local. They have a variety of beers that stand out. They have the brewery and the Dutch blonde beer bar that serves their brews.Written February 1, 2024

Went to this brewery to try their beers and was surprised to have more than just a taste. The founder and owner gave not just a tour of the facility but detailed stories regarding the origination of each beer, artwork, and future plans for the brewery. We came after already eating lunch, but he was happy to order food for another group who was there are the same time. We were invited to stay and drink as much beer as we wanted for the flat price of the tour and tastings. If my wife and I weren't also there with our toddler, we would have taken up that offer! Excited to return here next time on the island.

If you are a fan of craft beers, CBB is a must. Take the tour, spend the $20 and be prepared to enjoy an afternoon tasting and savoring craft beer with a “history” lesson with Sanil (the owner) and Arianna (the delightful marketing manager).
During 2+ hours we spent there, we sampled 4 deliciously refreshing beers (light, ale and IPA) - each one for a different palate! Sanil and Arianna spends time you and chats about the process of each beer and joins you in the sampling.
We hope the beers will be enjoyed by everyone on the Island and wish Ssnil and company the best!

This place is great! The owner took us for a tour, made us feel welcome, and has such a great story to tell. The beer was great, and I highly recommend paying $25 for all you can drink. Our experience was so fun, and if you happen to visit once the beach bar (beer garden) is open make sure you stop by!
Have fun!

We only stopped by after trying the beer on another tour, and it is quite good as I don't like beer and was happy with the tastes. We also were able to try it fresh from the tank. The owner was quite kind, and I love that building this into something he loves allows him to stay where he wants and give to his community. Completely recommended and wish the all the best!

I met Sunil and Arianna at Oyster Bay during their Sunday night tasting. At the time I was drinking one of the typical vacation island beers that you see (Carib) and was introduced to their new beers. Once I tasted their "Pirates Edition IPA" I POURED OUT the remaining Carib and said "I'll have another Pirate please". My wife & I went and toured their brewery a few days later and had a wonderful time talking their journey. I must say we were very impressed. Sadly the day came to an end and we had to say goodby to our new friends but not before buying a case of Pirate to savor the memories.

I have done the tour and tasting at several breweries in the USA and this is the first time I have been compelled to write a review. This was possibly the best afternoon of our trip. We made the reservation for 2:00 and arrived about 15 minutes early. Sunil welcomed us into the tap room and started telling us his story and the history of the brewery in relation to hurricane Irma and then the pandemic. This is the first and only CRAFT brewery on the island. The entire time he was pouring us a new beer and telling us the story behind each of the varieties. We then compared the flavor of one of the beers directly from the brewing tank versus the flavor of the bottled beer which was packaged for retail sale. There is a noticeable difference… and this is the first, and only, time I have been on a brewery tour where we were able to taste directly from the tank. The brewery is an easy walk from Philipsburg, just past the cruise port. There is also parking in front if you have a car. Caribbean brewing owns the Dutch Blonde Beach Bar on the boardwalk in Philipsburg. Look for the windmill and walk up the steps. The place has a fantastic view and great vibe. Great place to sit and chat with friends. Picture is from the beach bar.

My wife and I had a fantastic time learning about the brewery and meeting the people who make it happen. Absolutely worth the visit. Adrianna gives a great tour of the operations and Sunil's story is inspiring. We went on 2/7 and the place has only been open less than a year. They were bottling while we were there. Everyone is so friendly and you can see they are proud of what they do. It's a great brewery making local craft beer. The beer is excellent and does not disappoint! You'll get to try them all. My wife's favorite was the Blonde and I love the Pirate's Edition. I wish they exported already. But now we have reason to return to the island. =)

You know that feeling when you find the one excursion that makes the trip. Well you can find that here! The variety of beer was excellent, even one of my "non-beer" drinking friends ended up loving it. But the experience does not stop with just the ice cold, fresh beer. Sit back and enjoy a story so well told you will feel like you lived it. By the time the tour was over I felt like I was catching up with old friends over some cold beer.
For those concerned with Covid this place is very clean and nobody in my group felt uncomfortable at all.

We visited the brewery for a tour and were blown away by the owner Sunil's hospitality. We were unsure when our taxi pulled up to a nondescript warehouse but we were ushered inside and upstairs into the welcomed cool air-conditioned tasting room and started with our first round of what would be an afternoon of delightful unlimited tastings of the breweries' offerings. Sunil entertained us with stories of the origins of the brewery while allowing us to taste his different award winning brews. Lets just say our glasses never went empty!! We then toured the brewery and even tasted beer fresh from the vat! It was SO good!! After the tasting and tour we were ready for some food and Suneil also has a restaurant at a different site. He helped us pre-order and arranged transport to get there! The restaurant is GORGEOUS and overlooks the carribean sea. The food is absolutely delicious as well and coming soon will be an escape room! We want to go back once the escape rooms are open! Restaurant and escape room aside, the brewery is a MUST DO!!

Sunil gave us a personal tour of the brewery and while we got to try all the beer's there, he explained to us how they all came to be and the backstory. It was the best tour i have ever been on and the owners there treat you like family. They are so genuine, honest, and kind and it was money well spent. You drink much more than you even pay for, you will not be at a loss doing this tour. I recommend this tour, even if you are not a huge beer fan you will fall in love.
