Zip lining? The truth-I was a bit fearful after bravely signing up to check it off my bucket list. But after meeting up with the great guides at Pelican Peak & going over detailed safety instructions it was game on! The sweeping views as we traveled up the mountain were incredible. Our driver paused for us to take photos as our guide filled us in on the history of St Maarten where he was born and raised. There were 2 or 3 more short hikes with photo opps at the top before we headed to the platform. (I’d recommend good sneakers, not sandals). Two of our guides demonstrated the procedure and zip lined down ahead of us. I felt snug & well harnessed in as I looked at the 1,500 foot descent, and then, pure exhilaration-no more fear!!
I highly recommend Pelican Peak Zip-line to anyone traveling to St Maarten.

Fantastic views, fantastic fun, and an even more fantastic staff. Our tour guide Jesse was the best. Gave us some great history of the island, made us laugh and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. And the views were absolutely breathtaking!! The entire staff paid attention to every detail and attention to safety was evident from start to finish. Can’t say enough about how awesome this experience was. Highly recommend Pelican Peak be a part of your visit to Saint Martin!! Looking forward to going back. Thank Jesse and crew for an awesome adventure.

People wonderful, informative, helpful, skilled at your safety. this is not your typical "zip thru the trees" line; it's almost straight down, from top of high mountain to city center. Doesn't take long (it's fast!), but exhilarating. Standing on ledge, ready to take off is not easy for those like me that fear edges, but as soon as you jump off, it's amazing.

Zip line activity is fantastic. Great staff who work with you. Several people were nervous but the staff calmed thier fears. Tour up to lauching and view ports was great.
Not a long ride, 1500 feet with a 500 foot drop. One of the better and safer zip line ride I have done with my family.

Ziplining here was truly an unforgettable experience! Our tour was a fun learning experience, thanks to our tour guide, Shack Sparrow. The ziplining was breathtaking and incredibly thrilling, too. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide, Shack Sparrow, was incredible! The staff was helpful and informative in assuring our safety, while also making sure we had a great time! The views at the top of the mountain are incredible and so worth it. The zip-line was well constructed and extremely safe. A great experience!

Went with my nephew on a recent cruise. Staff was very kind and professional. It was my first time zip lining and they made me feel very comfortable. The views and quick tour at the top were amazing. My nephew said it was his favorite part of his trip!

This was my second zip lining experience and it was amazing. Staff was friendly, professional and efficient in getting us harnessed. We were encouraged to bring our phones which was so unlike my first experience. The views on the tour and zip lining experience is absolutely breath taking. 100% recommend. They are so close to the cruise ports that we walked back.

Had an awesome experience! Shack Sparrow was such a fabulous tour guide as we road to the top of the mountain to zip line down. Highly recommend!! The 4 of us zip lined down at the same time. It was so much fun and super safe!

Amazing. The crew, the views, the tour up the mountain, and of course the zip lining, all was incredible. We even saw goats chilling on some rocks on the way up. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

What are the height/weight restrictions? My daughter is interested but wanted to check on requirements first
Or can kids ride tandum with an adult?
Can cruise passengers go to the Dock Landing area and pay for the tour as an afterthought or must the tour be booked in advance to participate.

I believe you can go straight to their office and book then. However I think during certain times of year they may be booked up or you’ll have to wait quite some time to go up.

Depending on the amount of people is can take 1/2 hour or longer. We took about 1 hour including instructions and eco tour on the way up to the platform plus pictures. Hope that helps.
