It was easy to book and the Sam, the captain, was very knowledgeable and share information about St. Maarten. We got the chance to snorkel, enjoy some time at a beautiful and clear beach and to see airplanes landing/taking of at Maho Beach. The speed boat was clean and in great condition. The meeting point was easy to find and close to the cruise port. We will definitely call Sam for another tour on our next visit to St Maaten.Written June 6, 2024

Sam's boat is built for open water, so sporty seas are not a problem. A must do when visiting. The Marina is a bit hard to find, but Google Maps will get you there.Written March 22, 2024

- KristenP3140 contributionsBOOK NOW!We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise and I was looking for an excursion that would be fun for our for my family of 6 which included myself, my husband our twin 5-year olds as well as my in-laws who are in there 70s, and didn't want a crowded catamaran. I came across Powerboat Adventures and I am so glad I did! We booked the 1/2 day private tour and had the absolute best time with Captain Sam! He planned the morning around what we knew we wanted to see (Maho Beach) and what we knew the kids would enjoy (calm beach with very little waves). He was very knowledgable about the island which was great as my Father-in-law loves to ask questions. He was great with the kids and had beverages ready for all. This was by far our favorite excursion of the trip! I would do this excursion again and would highly recommend for families, couples, young adults really anyone as Sam caters to your interests, Thank you Captain Sam for an incredible morning of making memories with our family!Written October 18, 2023

Sam gave us pointers on best spots to snorkel to and allowed us as much time as we wanted. We then went and spent the rest of our afternoon at a private beach. Incredible snorkeling, wonderful lunch spot, views for days! Sam was kind, knowledgeable and had all the perfect spots mapped out for us. We went snorkeling and stopped at a secluded beach. Sam was generous to give us some extra time to watch some of the airplanes come in with a low approach at the airport. Only thing I would let others know is to ask more details about the lunch restaurant. It was great however some could find it a little pricey. We had a perfect day trip to Anguilla. Sam gave us great suggestions on things to do, then let us customize our trip. Excellent choice for a custom trip to Anguilla and around St. Martin with kids. Highly recommended!

My husband and I booked the full day boat charter to Anguilla. This was by far the best day we had on our 9 day trip to St. Maarten. We have done several boat charters over the years and I can tell you Sam was one of the best captains we have ever had. He is knowledgeable, kind and incredibly accommodating. He took us to all the most beautiful and secluded beaches and made sure we always had our favorite beverage in hand. Two things that were important to us were cliff jumping and snorkeling. Despite the fact that neither of those are popular in the area, Sam made sure we got it done! His boat is clean and smooth, even in choppy waters. I do a ton of research before booking a boat charter. I could not be happier with my decision to book with Powerboat Adventures and will book again with Sam in the future.

What an amazing experience! We booked a full day tour on Anguilla and Sam did not disappoint. He took us to several amazing spots that we thoroughly enjoyed. The boat was great and Sam had plenty of rum punch and beer for us. Definitely a worthwhile investment!

Amazing day cruise around Sint Maarten and Anguilla with Sam. Nice beaches and snorkeling spots, great restaurant and perfect service. I highly recommend this trip to relax a day on the ocean and the most beautiful beaches in the area.

Sam and Denis gave us a wonderful tour. We delayed our trip from Monday to Wednesday due to weather. The boat was well equipped and and the itinerary was good. I recommend this trip for small groups.

When sometimes we can get some bad weather we always give options, to start a little bit later if it is supposed to clear up, to reschedule when it is possible, or to cancel with full refund of the trip. I always inform and try to give the best advice based on the informations we have and my experience but you'll always have the final word.

This tour with Sam was the perfect way to spend a day while on vacation on St. Maarten. I was looking for something more personal for my family and I found it here with Sam’s tour for sure! Communication prior to the trip was extremely quick and informative, check-in was smooth, and we were out on the water on schedule as planned in the morning. Drinks for adults and kids were provided, as was snorkel gear and lots of floating devices/toys. The boat had plenty of room for our family of 5 and could hold up to 10 comfortably. Sam was a great captain and took us to some amazing beaches (including Anguilla), snorkeling spots, and restaurants around the area. Can’t beat the ride, views, and fun on this private adventure….. in my opinion, so much better than a chartered boat with larger groups on it. Sam even sent us some drone footage that he captured during our day! Thanks Sam, and we will be in touch next time we visit.

My wife and I wanted to see more than Saint Martin. Sam was the consummate gentleman and guide. His knowledge of the area was truly amazing, and his control of the boat came in handy when the waves started acting up.
From snorkeling to seeing some of the most beautiful homes, our day was more than a pleasure.
We decided what we wanted to do, took recommendations from Sam on other viewing pleasures and proceeded to have one of the most enjoyable days of our trip.

We ended up having to turn around because it was raining however, from start to finish we knew what to expect. Our group was super excited and a few had never been on a speed boat before. We reviewed safety and we were off! The music selection was good and we were offered to play our own. The Rhum Punch and beverage selections were plentiful. Unfortunately, we didnt make it to Anguilla because the weather did not permit but I am sure we were in for an exceptional experience!

Weather that morning was cloudy but according to the weather forecasts, it was supposed to get better quickly as it often happens with caribbean morning showers.
Quickly after we started sky turned out to be darker and it started raining. As we couldn't see any signs of improvement we then decided to turn around and cancel the trip, for safety reasons and as it wouldn't be a fun day for you, and I made sure you was quickly refunded.
I'm glad you enjoyed the experience and I really hope you'll give us an other chance to take you to Anguilla on your next visit!

Hello, Sam. I was wondering what the price would be for a longer excursion? There are four adults in our party and we are staying on the island of St. Maarten in February. The dates we are considering for the excursion are the 14th, 15th or 16th.
