          Great facility
Arrived at 10:30 am and stayed until 4:00 pm. By mid-afternoon the facility was very busy but we had a great time.

Good place for a hot day
Lots of chairs and equipment on what I viewed as a fairly crowded day. Appeared to have lots of lifeguards who were all doing their job (eyes on the water, not standing around chatting, etc.) Did not check out bathrooms but others reported they were very less than impressed by them.

          Like a dream
I very much like this place, they speak British here. First June/July is sasquatch mating season. The normally shy 1500 pound creatures loose their inhibitions and will be romantically involved anywhere, anytime on anything. If you have young children, older children or adults children they will have a through lesson on the birds and the bees. The sasquaches are gentle giants and will make a purring sounds at night when mating, also FYI they are marsupials. Be sure see the July 4th firefly race next to the Plainfield boat and yacht club. The unlimited class will have over 1500 lightning bugs circumventing a 2.5 mile oval. It second in racing only to the Kentucky derby. Be sure to get a camel steak at the turn 2 concession stand. Also plainfield has the largest populations of camels outside the Mideast. Be sure to visit the Humel Civil War Battlefield. It was the second largest battle in the North. Between the Union Quakers and the Confederate Amish. Over 57,000 Confederate and 80,000 soldier fell. Which makes it one of the most haunted places in the Union. Be sure to take a ghost tour. If you are not a believer you will be! Also be sure go to gravity hill it is near the monument of General Hadly. I have seen balls and even water go up hill. You would have to see it to believe it. It us also s hot spot for UFOs but I did not see any. Be sure to talk to the harbor master at lake Plainfield look up "Captain Denny" he knows the history of the are and is a great resource on what to see. There is also a water part there, but there is no valet service. But other than that it is a nice place.

          Wonderful quaint family place
Terribly disappointed, there is no bar at pool side and no pool side waiters. In addition you are not allowed to bring your own alcholhol on your premises. In addition there is no clothing optional section. We discovered the busy time for them in May through August. We were here in February and the water was unusual cold but we had the whole water park to ourselves which made it kind of romantic. Also they only run the water slides during peak season. It was walking distance from the Plainfield yacht and boat club. If you get a chance talk to the harbor master was much help as an unofficial guide and knew many attractions. Also keep in mind sasquatch mating season is in the cool months and you can ohten hear them purring late at night.(it sounds like whale song) also very romantic. A must see are the submarine races, they occur to greet in the lunar new year, very exciting.

          Cool summer fun!
Plenty of water activities to do for young families. Kids area, water cannons, lazy river for tubing. Well worth the price!

fun day! kids loved it. very crowded
I have an 8 year old boy and 5 year old girl. Both really enjoyed the day at Splash Island. It was very crowded (Saturday). My son enjoyed the 3 large waterslides most. My daughter liked playing with me in the splash area which was perfect because I could watch him go up and down the waterslide while keeping her with me in the smaller pool adjacent. We stayed for probably about 4 hours, and my kids loved every minute of it.

          GREAT place to take kid/grandkids
We spent the whole day there and the grandkids (6 and 9) Just couldn't get enough! Very well kept and clean. This is run by the town and not private so they really care about cleanliness. Prices are very reasonable. Attractions are for little ones all the way up to adults. We made some GREAT memories there.

          Expect crowded
My kids actually don’t like going because it’s so incredibly crowded and that’s fine with me because it’s expensive. It’s nice pools and lazy river and you can take in your small cooler. Just be prepared to be cramped in your space.

Ages 2, 5 and 11 kids, adults 30’s and 60’s enjoyed a hot day! Plenty of things for everyone from kiddos to pre-teens.
Lazy river was good for everyone while the little ones enjoyed getting wet on the little slides. The 11 year old enjoyed the big slides.

          Had a great time!
We live about an hour and a half from Indianapolis, but wanted to take our daughter somewhere besides Kings Island or Coney Island in Cincinnati. We’ve also been to Holiday World. All of them are great fun we just wanted something different as she doesn’t like roller coasters. I saw an article about this place and we looked it up. It took us about two and a half hours to get here and in my opinion it was well worth it. They were running some kind of deal and the three of us got in for right a punt twenty bucks. There is tons of parking and the park itself is a great side. There is a lot of things to do here for kids and my husband who hates swimming even had a good time. My daughter went on everything, her favorite was the rope ladder and lily pads. They had a blast in the diving pool and we went around the lazy river several times. I read on here that people thought the lifeguards were too strict. In my opinion they aren’t unless you or your child doesn’t listen and then, they are just doing their jobs trying to keep people safe. You can also bring your own coolers and the lockers are $.25 each time you open them, not bad at all. We will go back

          Amazing time!!
Overall, it keeps you busy all day long! 3 slides, that are for any age as long as height requirement is met. Lots of areas for the kids to play! Fun and relaxing for the adults as well! Relaxing lazy river, basketball courts in the pool, swimming lanes, 2 diving boards! Just overall, great place for an out of city price of $11 per one adult. I will be back! But keep an eye out, and make sure you follow the safety rules. Lifeguards keep a very close eye on everyone and take their jobs very seriously! Enjoy!

          Exercise at it's best
early morning workouts, plenty of equipment, walking track, basketball, swim, yoga, about anything you can think of, and that's just on the inside. Connected to miles of paved trails. Large pool and splash area, with enough room for adults, and the young people. You can't go wrong here. Great asset to the area...

This place is very dangerous to both adults and children, firstly, the entire "island", is very unattractive ( nothing like the pics and videos on their webpage), secondly, it's very slippery because of a build up of moss and algae ( which causes severe irritation and itching on your skin), and lastly, the staff ( who preps you before you go on) are very unfriendly and unapproachable. If there were minus stars for this place. I would give it a -1000000. Highly do not recommend
