Shaky start, but a great tour.
The pick up at the cruise terminal was very poorly organized, and we almost missed our ride. Things went well after that. The machines are well maintained and our guide, Germaine, was very informative and lots of fun. I rate him 10 out of ten. The tour took us along the water at spots, and up to some very impressive viewpoints overlooking the water and large parts of the island. Overall, a great tour. We felt we got plenty of time on the Segways. More than the twenty minutes that I’ve seen in other reviews.

Amazing views of the island and a great accomplishment!
My wife and I came to Saint Lucia for our honeymoon and decided to do this tour as we both really enjoy the outdoors and hiking. We decided for an early ascent as the weather would be too hot otherwise and recommend others do the same. You also need at least 2L of water per person as some parts of the trail are exposed to the sun. Our guide was a lovely chap called CJ who clearly knew a lot about the area and history of the mountain. He was very open and friendly and made the more difficult parts of the climb much easier with his positive attitude and words of encouragement. As we finished in ‘record time’ (according to CJ), we were even able to take time to explore the old WW2 bunkers, anti aircraft gun battery and storage warehouses which were incredibly interesting. The climb itself was a mixture of simple ascending pathways, rocky outcrops with plenty of handholds and more challenging open/steep areas which require the use of a rope to safely get up. The summit is well worth it though with amazing views of the island. CJ even helped us take some lovely photos of the two of us. Would recommend this tour to anyone physically able to take it on. The difficult parts are in my opinion, more of a mental barrier than a physical one and CJ did a great job of reminding us of that and keeping us encouraged.

          Awesome Mt. Pimard Hike
My husband and I had a great time on this hike. It was definitely a harder hike than I was expecting. It was totally worth it though. The view from the top was incredible. Keyz was an outstanding guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Great personality. He took safety very seriously and was always watching and helping me through the tough parts of the hike. I would recommend this hike and most definitely would ask for Keyz to be your guide.

Worth the trip if you're adventurous.
The electric scooters were very much fun to ride. We didn't get much of a verbal tour however because the helmets and traffic made it hard to hear. Also, the scooters don't turn like a regular motorcycle due to the wide tires. They take a little getting used to but once learned, were a lot of fun. We did see a bunch of the island and had fun scootering, though. I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

Better than a hike, take a Segway
The landscape was beautiful and our guide, Germaine was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and engagement. He also made a point to make safety the most important part of our experience. If you’re thinking about it, go and enjoy the beautiful natural terrain on a Segway.

A must do in St. Lucia!
My husband and I did the Segway tour with Thomas and it was one of our favorite parts of our trip! Beautiful views and learned some history about St. Lucia.

          Difficult and dangerous.
We booked this tour through our resort. In the title it said extremely easy to ride, back roads, beaches. It was very misleading, thus they have you practice in a yard before going on the road. The scooters are very difficult to turn and the throttle is very touchy, you accelerate so fast there is no way to slowly increase your speed. Several of the guys even had trouble adjusting and were crashing in the yard. (Some even have experience with motorcycles). We had 4 guys and 4 girls in our group. The last 2 ladies in the group could not get the hang of it so they rode on the back of their husbands scooters. I was apprehensive but kept practicing in the yard. I knew I need to take the turns very slowly. So off we go, we were on the main roads, lots of traffic. When you get to intersections you are being told to hurry, hurry, hurry so cars don’t cut through. As I came to an intersection where we were making a turn, the guide from the back came up to block traffic and was yelling for us to hurry. I gave too much throttle and couldn’t make the turn went into on coming traffic and T-bones a truck. My injuries are not as severe as they could have been. I thank God for his provision! I wanted to write this review to make others aware that it is not as easy as it is portrayed to be. If you give it a try, practice in the yard and if you don’t feel 100% confident, ride with someone else or a guide. It is very dangerous and you are mainly on high traffic roads and no beach. Well you see it but don’t drive on it. 4 wheels for me from now on!

          Not off-road!
I have a few things to say about this tour. -these scooters are not like anything you have ever ridden before, they are elongated with fat tires. They do not turn like a motorcycle or other scooter. - people need to know they are not easy to ride. The throttle is very touchy and they DO NOT turn like a regular scooter! - you have to do a riding test before you are allowed to go, which is really good! A lot of people do no pass this riding test,(they end up on Segways) it is done in a gravel lot and you have to do a figure 8 before you can go. - when we booked this it sounded like it was backroads and beaches. It is not! You do go to two beaches but you are riding on the actual roads and highways with all the traffic. It becomes very stressful! You follow the guide, but he is adept at riding these things and you are not! Also there are no shoulders to escape the traffic! - do not do this tour if you are afraid of traffic and the left hand side of the road! -we did have fun but it was stressful and I would only recommend this tour to people who are not easy stressed! Our guide Bryan was pretty good, but I felt he should not have made any turns unless we could all make them at the same time (in busy traffic)! I feel this tour description should be rewritten to let people know they are not driving off the beaten path and they are in heavy traffic on the left side of the road!

Travelling through winding roads, hills and valleys was truly an amazing experience. The tour guides were so skilled that we felt as though we glided through the picturesque countryside. Nice way to see the island!
Brian was a patient, safe and friendly guide. Once we were on the roads, the scooters were pretty easy to manage. The guides made it very safe for us to navigate, even when there was traffic. It was a nice way to see the northern part of the island! Be prepared for a learning curve at the training session. There were seven of us on this trip, and it took a good hour for training with the scooters. The training area, was actually a gravel parking lot and a bit tricky to maneuver around. So if you can manage that, you’ll be fine on the road! I didmisunderstand and thought we would actually be riding directly on the sand, thus the fat tires. Trip does not take you on sand. Only on the roads. Scenery was great, and all else was as described. The four people in my group agreed we were glad we did this trip!

          Beautiful Area - Great Guides
The booking and cruise port pickup worked out fine. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day and very slippery so we did not make it all the way to the top. However, Kymani & CJ were great guides. We were able to spend more time talking to them about their lives and the community's. Very, very nice men. With our hike cut short, Kymani even offered to show us around Rodney Bay or escort us back to the port. We had other plans but did enjoy a nice local brew with them before we went back.

          This is a definite DO!
We had a fantastic time on this tour. Thomas was great. We were new to any Segway and this was off road. He was patient and helpful. He made the trip educational and fun. I would do this again and again.
