We had an excellent day out with John. Our tour was tailored entirely to what we wanted to do - including the Tet Paul trail (great views), the drive -in volcano (interesting), toraille waterfall (smaller than expected) and l7nch in Marigot Bay (beautiful but bear in mind a ling drive from Souffriere). John was always there when needed and ensured we had a safe drive. Overall a great day out and we would highly recommend this tour.

We have just come back from a brilliant day with Sheldon. He is very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about this beautiful island and had fun at the mud baths and waterfall. Lunch at Marie’s was a real treat. Highly recommended.

We had a great day with Tarryck. He was knowledgable, friendly and professional. He catered the tour to our preferences. For example, we wanted to see the mud baths, but not interested in participating. We made a quick stop, but then continued on to other sites. The owner was in regular contact with him to make sure we were both on schedule and having a great experience. I would highly recommend Xceptional Tours!

We had the most amazing experience with Xceptional Tours and in particular with Jonathan. Before I had even arrived, I was messaging with him to arrange everything for our arrival. He was so responsive and helpful and made our holiday extra special. He arranged our airport transfers and went above and beyond, stopping at beautiful viewpoints along the way and a local supermarket. He also arranged my private hike up the Gros Piton. Priced very reasonably and so friendly and knowledgable, I would recommend anyone to use him for tours or transfers.

Valentin , our driver, was very nice and drove safely. He was very respectful of our choices to visit the island and made his best to fullfill our expectations. He also gave us good advices ( and showed us some amazing scenic views) and found us a great place to have lunch with a view on St Lucia Pitons. We made a lot of stops for taking pictures and he shared with us his kbowledge of the island. Thank you for taking such good care of us. I would highly recommand this tour.

This is a total rip off. To be clear, this service does not offer a “private hike,” as advertised. This is essentially a car service to the Gros Piton and Piton Falls. Everyone who goes to the Gros Piton is assigned a private guide by the park, and that is not included in the fee from this provider. Instead, you get a bottle of water, a beer and entry to Piton Falls—total value ~$15, not including car service, which you can and should get cheaper elsewhere. Save your money and pass this service by.

We spent a wonderful day with Fluermont on a private customizable shore excursion from Castries port. St. Lucia is absolutely gorgeous and we chose to visit the volcano and mud baths (don’t wear your nice suit JIC), visited a waterfall and a beautiful botanical gardens (with another waterfall), and snorkeled at a beach between the pitons. It made for a full day of variety to please everyone in our group. Fluermont is a very educated and thoughtful man with a nice sense of humor! He was mindful of my mom’s mobility limitations, had a cooler with drinks packed and was flexible with our timing. His vehicle is a nice, clean and comfortable van with plenty of room for us and all of our day bags. I highly recommend booking your day with them!

Used this company to get from the airport to my hotel. It was a friendly driver and a nice car. The driver Valentine was on time and very professional. Will book again.

We booked this excursion as the last of our honeymoon trip and really felt like we saved the best for last. We were staying at a Sandals resort and wanted to do something not promoted or sponsored by the Sandals brand so I went looking on TripAdvisor and found John and Xceptional Tours. As this was our third day doing the drive from Castries to Soufriere I was mentally ready for the drive (I get extreme motion sickness). Riding with John was the best I felt in any transportation while on the island. He maneuvers the roads with ease and is still extremely interactive with his guests which isn’t easy with windy roads. He answered any and all questions we had about the island and gave us local insights that honestly made St. Lucia feel more special. Hotel Chocolat was great and the chocolate making was fun/informative. The food they have on site was also very good and worth getting there a little early for. We only got to experience this because John was prompt and efficient and got us there 30 minutes early which I highly recommend. Overall, I would recommend this tour, and John specifically, to anyone wanting to visit St. Lucia. We are already planning our next trip back and hoping John can show us a new adventure. Unpleasant experience, awful day, worst in our 7 days cruise trip. Would not recommend! 1. Odd thing was happened right at the beginning. We reserved 10am private tour online and met the driver at about 9:50am in the waiting area. After we got into the car, he said that we came out late and do not have enough time and need to skip Volcano! He said that we suppose to meet at 9am. I showed him the confirmation from Xeptional. His boss asked him to come at 9am. 2. The driver drove into the mountain directly to the “ending point” with over 1 hour non-stop. It was not a vacation, it was kind of rushing to somewhere. My daughter sat in the back of the driver, got severe car sick and vomited everything out. We skipped lunch and came back to the port at 3pm. 3. Non of stops in this tour gave us any special impressions. Better to have a relaxed day on the beach at St Lucia.

John provided us transportation to our resort to start our vacation. He was patient and still picked us up even though our flight was 5 hours delayed. A car seat was available for our young child. The car was clean, spacious and had great AC. We ended up booking an island tour with him as well. He was very knowledgeable about St. Lucia’s history and gave us a lot of information. He took us to all the sights and even provided refreshments. I would 100% recommend him. 10/10 service. 5 stars all the way!

There is a reason this tour has all 5 star reviews. It is that great and flexible! John was our tour guide, he was very patient, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor! He took lots of photos of us and for us! We did a few things here and there across the whole island, and everything went smoothly!
