We visited Martinique on a cruise ship. The guide did not show up and the company didn't respond to any messages sent via Tripadvisor. TripAdvisor had charged my credit card 2 weeks earlier.

Meri was a wonderful tour guide whom we highly recommend for eveyone interested! We booked Meri for two days full of exciting and interesting activites. Meri was helpful, cheerful and knowledgable which truly made our experience special at Martinique!

With so much time on my hands now , I thought is would be a good time to post a review on our Foodie Tour in Fort-de-France. We met up with our most wonderful and pleasant guide Meri. We experienced both the beauty and the taste of the town. Sights like the Schoelcher Library, the beautiful court yard whith the old Cathedral. But lets not forget the food! We tasted all kinds of cheese and candies, sauces and of course RUM at a quaint local store. Such nice people there, they kept offering more and more to taste. We visited a pasty shop and had several traditional pastries, sitting in a lovely little outside patio. From there we visited the Market, which we were able to taste a few items. We were so full. Meri took great care of us and she was very easy to talk to. She shared stories of her family and and it made us feel as though we were walking with a good friend. Our last stop of the day was a great RUM shop. We were able to taste three or four rums. So good! We even bought a bottle of our favorite to take with us. This was a laid back and very informative tour. If you ever are looking for a guide in Fort-de-France, don't hesitate to contact Meri. We did a tour with Meri last month, visiting Southern Martinique. What a great day we had! We visited many beaches and saw the Diamond Rock and the Anse Caffard slavery memorial. I learned so much about Martinique during the tour! Living in nearby Guadeloupe, it was super interesting for me to compare the histories of these two French Caribbean islands with each other. Meri is like a walking Encyclopedia of Martinique's history! I highly recommend taking her tour as you will see lots of beautiful sights and learn a bunch of interesting facts about the island. :)

I booked a custom North discovery private tour with Meri to explore the beauties of Martinique with my husband and our two sons during our Christmas holiday cruise last week. Meri provided us with an excellent tour of Martinique for our day in port in Fort-de-France. We were in Martinique on a cruise and had arranged a private tour with Meri to see the major sights of the island. Because of the weather (it was July), we didn't want to do too much outdoors. She tailored the trip to our needs. Her vehicle was very comfortable for the 6 of us. We had originally scheduled 8, but one couple canceled. I think it would have been too cozy for 8. She is a lovely and knowledgeable guide, sharing her experiences on the island. Her English is excellent, as are her driving skills - necessary on a tour of the island with many winding roads. We enjoyed the new museum dedicated to the eruption of 1902, the distillery, and the visit to the mountain - even though it was fogged in. She chatted all along the way, providing us with a running narrative. Very enjoyable and interesting way to see the island.

We visited historical sites, sailed on a yole, visited the rainforest and the mangrove forest, toured Fort de France, visited schools and community garden, braided bakoua and much more. Meri brought knowledge and good humor to all our activities. She was timely and organized, I could not recommend her more. I hope to come back to Martinique and will definitely hire Meri again

Meri was our driver and tour guide for a university student program that I was part of running and she was absolutely fantastic. I have been part of many other travel programs before for students in other places and Meri is the best guides that I've had in any place. She knows so much history about the island and really made everything that we saw come to life in a nuanced and interesting way. She also made everyone feel very safe and taken care of throughout our drives and hikes and was amazing with helping us try cultural foods and taking us off the beaten path to learn about different corners of the island. In talking with the students about their overall reflections on the 10 day university program that we did in Martinique, every student said that Meri was by far the highlight of their time. I wouldn't have learned as much or have had as deep and interesting of an experience without her as our guide. If you are in Martinique and want a fantastic English and/or French speaking tour guide, you must use Anoli Tours. You will not regret it and you will end your trip with amazing and interesting insights on the beautiful island that is Martinique. So highly recommend!

I loved having Meri as a tour guide! She was very knowledgeable of Martinique and always knew the best places to see the sights or grab a bite to eat. Very proficient with English and French. She even took the time to find some of the local fruits and such to share with our group. My favorite one was the soursop, which is almost like a mango pineapple smoothie. I enjoyed going to the abolition day celebration in Fort-de-France, where I got to learn the most about Martinique in its history, present-day life, and even about Martinican flora and fauna. If I decide to visit Martinique again, I will definitely go to Anoli Tours with Meri.

We were 6 teachers (2 Finnish, 3 Spanish and 2 Portuguese) making our own full day tour in Martinique. Meri is an excellent guide, her English is great and her knowledge outstanding about culture, history, names of plants& trees etc. Her van is comfortable and she is a reliable driver. We visited Trois les Ilets, went swimming & snorkeling many times and saw seaturtles! We also went to see Diamant rock and lush Forest Mont travail. We had a marvellous day and can highly recommend Meri as a guide for you!
