We received a really wonderful personalized tour from our talented and knowledgeable guide, Daniel. Would definitely do another tour with this company! Sebastiano set up the tour for us, and Daniel took great care of us every step of the way. The tour of the north side of the island was engaging and comprehensive. He even gave us suggestions about hidden gems to check out in our own area of Fort de France!

Sebastiano was a wonderful guide and you can feel his passion for the island. He offered an intimate and small group setting that felt personalized and engaging. I learned so much about the history and the nature of the island, and was treated to a beautiful beach at the end. The ride was comfortable and he treated us to a delicious pastry & juice. Sebastiano is the owner, operator and guide. Having done many travels over the years, he is one of the most cheerful and informative guides that I have encountered. It’s a small group with a max of 6, which made for a more personalized experience too.

We had a wonderful day out with Sebastiano. He picked us up from the port and greeted us with pastries and juice! His car was very comfortable and the tour of the island excellently curated! We saw waterfalls, rivers, visited the botanical gardens and a beautiful rum distillery. Sebastiano was a well of information teaching us about the history of Martinique and different plant species. I can't recommend the tour enough it was one of the highlights of our trip!

The tour with Sebastiano was the best guided tour we have ever taken. He is very knowledgeable in history, geology, and the local flora and fauna. His enthusiasm about the island, the rainforest and history inspired us a lot and sparkled our curiosity. He brought us to wonderful, less touristy spots, which we appreciated. His mission was successful; after his tour, we are now huge fans of Martinique and want to visit it again. He is also very friendly, polite and a true gentleman. If you stop in Martinique for a day, going on a tour with Sebastiano is the best thing you can do with your time.

Sebastiano was the perfect host. He knew so much about the island, its culture, history and environment. His love for nature and its beauty was infectious. He even complied with a traveler's wish to eat on the sands of a black beach. Most gracious!

We still dream of the amazing North N1 - Pleasure & Discovery Tour with Norden Vincent Transport, one year ago today. Thomas picked us up from the Disney Fantasy Cruise Line. We're so glad we did it. Thomas had a brand new Mercedes van that was luxurious and comfortable. One of the greatest memories of our tour was Thomas' delicious homemade pastries made by his family. We highly recommend the picnic at Saut du Gendarme, and my kids absolutely loved swimming under the waterfall. Thomas was extremely personable and knowledgeable. We hope to get back to Martinique someday. We will definitely take another tour with Norden Vincent Transport again. Merci beaucoup Thomas! 😁

We did the tour of the northern part of the island of Martinique. Thomas gave us a detailed history of the island and it’s people. We visited interesting site with our small group of 8 guests. Although the only active volcano on the island was not visible on this cloudy, rainy day, it didn’t stop us from enjoying the tour and the time we spent on Martinique. I highly recommend this tour.

Wow, this operator is wonderful! Thomas went to great lengths to make things happen on a busy schedule for us! We spent 2 full days touring the island with Sebastiano. He is hands down the best guide we ever had. He is so in tune with the local culture and his enthusiasm to showcase local culture and history (even connecting them to a global context) made this one of the most memorable trips for my family. He has a great sense of humour and oodles of patience!! After our last day in Martinique, we were left feeling that we made friends that we will be sure to visit in the future!

We took a great tour of the island with Sebastian - he picked us up from the cruise port, drove us through town. We saw the church, a number of stops in the rainforest (including hiking down to a beautiful waterfall), the less-crowded botanical gardens where Sebastian gave us a great guided tour, a rum distillery (where Sebastian made sure we got samples to enjoy), and St. Pierre ruins. He brought juice, snacks, and water for our trip and made sure we were comfortable throughout - from umbrellas (we didn't need) to walking sticks, which my mother-in-law greatly appreciated for the hike to the waterfall. In addition, Sebastian was very knowledgeable, not just about Martinique, but other areas of the Caribbean, and he is incredibly charming. We had a great day!

Thomas was very responsive and friendly from the beginning email. We were on a cruise ship and wanted to do a tour of the North island. Sebastiano was our guide and he did not disappoint. He showed us the best of Martinique with a beautiful lunch on the beach. We were very happy and would highly recommend.

This was an absolute awesome way to experience Martinqiue! We did the north island trip with them and our guide's name was Sebastiano. He picked us up in very comfortable Mercedes Minivan. The tour was very personal and the price was extremely competitive they offered more than some of the other companies i had read about for the same price. A little more detail: Pick up was just as explained right at the ferry terminal. Sebastiano was there waiting for us with a sign with my name as soon as we exited the building. We booked last minute and they accommodated us no problem. In our group there were a total of 6 of us. My self, my wife, her grand mother our 1 year old daughter and a lovey couple from Brazil. The vehicle; a 7 passenger Mercedes minivan was more than spacious enough to accomodate everyone with plenty of room to spare. The vehicle was very clean both inside and out. Tires were in tip top shape and they were able to source a carseat for us even though we booked last minute. They even brought a booster seat just incase The tour. Amazing and thorough. Sebastiano in great detail went through all the details with us and showed us really as much as he could duing this tour. Even having to let traffic pass in some instances to show us something interesting. We went to a beatiful church with an amazing view overlooking the city and the south of the island. Took a drive through the prestine forest stopping at a beautiful river where we could purchase fresh coconuts from an extremely friendly (without being pushy in any way whatsoever) local vendor. Then we stopped at an amazing waterfall where we all had plenty of time to take a dip and photos. Then he took us to an amazing garden. This garden was not Jardin De Balata where most of the other tour buses go to. It was an amazing garden and interprtation center with a beautiful 15 minute forest trail. The interpretation center covered everything from the formation of Martinique with vivid infographics showcasing each stage of volcanic development of the island. To a plethora of the plants and animals found on the island. Really amazing illustrationas of Martinique all over, with a lovely play which brings the forest to life. Something we were really not expecting. The Garden itself had many amazing tropical flowers, a fountain, fish pond with prawn (cray fish) a spice and flower garden with many different tropical seasonings and spices.. i can go on and on. Then we went to the Depaz rum distillery and toured its grounds. We visited old style plantation house which was one fo the highlights for me not because of the rum we got to sample but because we got a close glimps of a flock of parrots which Sebastiano says is not common. Being a bird nut this was probably the most exciting part of the tour for me haha! Our next stop was in the town of St. Pierre which was destroyed by the volcano. We stopped at this old church where some of the remains from the destuction is still visible and Sebastiano showed us the power of that eruption through what remains. The last stop was at the beach which we all decided to forgo for the sole reason of us all being satisfied with a truly amazing day! Thank you so much Sebastiano. You really went out of your way to show us an amazing time in Martinique and i can't wait to come back to tour the south of the island with you.

These guys are so awesome! So, booking was a breeze with Thomas. He was very kind and friendly. He even checked up on us when our ferry was running late from Saint Lucia. Our guide was Sebastiano and he really is the best! He really made this tour extra special! We were picked up in a very clean and comfortable Mercedes. We were not jammed onto a tourist bus, like we saw in the other tour companies. It was a very personalized service. Sebastiano was very knowledgeable about the tour and country and he answered all the questions we had. You could tell that he really loves his job! Our one year old was with us and they even made accommodations for her which I thought was so sweet. Each stop that we made, we were more and more mesmerized! From the moment we met, to the stops, which was the church, the Alma river, the waterfall, the distillery, the interpretation center, the ruins of st Pierre and the lovely coastline. It was a complete tour of the north of the island. We also enjoyed snacks made my Thomas' mom in law. Really, we went to places that my other friends had not yet seen although they were in Martinique for a while. In the 6 hours you really do get your money's worth! This was the best vacation tour I've ever had! This experience was amazing and we would never forget the wonderful time that we had with Sebastiano!! At the end of our superb day, Sebastiano was kind enough to drop us off at our place. What a great guy! So I will definitely recommend Norden Tours 100% every time!! Great Great value! Martinique was a stop during our 10-day Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Crown Princess. I had previously searched for a recommended private tour company and thankfully found Thomas. We booked the Nature and Zen - 6 hour tour which fit into our time frame; along with the sites our party of three wanted to see; well before leaving Ontario. What an amazing day from start to finish! Thomas who speaks fluent English is so knowledgeable about Martinique, the people, culture, and shared many insights into their way of life there during our tour. The day was a bit rainy but perfect for the rain forest part, and didn't stop us from seeing the Sacre Coeur of Balata Church, walking into the forest and brook along the Alma River, having a small picnic of delicious pastries and fruit beverage made by him and his family at the fresh water cascade Saut du Gendarme. We also spent considerable time at the beautiful botanical garden of Domaine d'Emeraude, Depaz rum distillery and St. Pierre where the volcano Mont Pelee erupted in 1902 killing 28,000 people in less than 2 minutes. We chose to finish our day at the restaurant Le Petibonum located on a beautiful beach where we enjoyed an authentic meal Martinique style. It was fantastic and the owner Guy made us feel right at home. Thank you Thomas for an unforgettable day and experience!
