Salsa and Guacamole class. (Costa Maya)
We took a quick bus to the salsa making class. The food was delicious. We got to make everything and eat it. Then we had a guy explain tequila and face us samples. Then we learned salsa dancing. Then we had time to walk stores or go to beach. Our friends got massages along beach. Lots of little shops when you get back to town.

      Dolphins
A great trip. Marco took us on a search for dolphins and whales as well as swim around the coral reef. He also did not forget about the food and rum. I highly recommend . Impossible to describe the impression, worth every money.

      Wonderful.
We just returned a few hours ago from their dolphin excursion. We set out at 8am, and sailed up the western coast of Martinique to join other dolphin-watcher boats (an advance boat goes out every morning and lets all of the various companies know where to bring their boats). A lovely leisurely cruise up the coast. Once we arrived in the dolphin area, I was amazed - they were everywhere - we saw dozens of them, jumping and playing. I expected maybe a glimpse of one or two, and we saw them in large groups. You can't help laughing as you watch them. Then a cruise back to a little spot on the coast about halfway back to Fort-de-France where you are given the chance to swim and snorkel (about half our group did; we chose to stay on boar, but it was lovely). Then, to end our morning, we sped against the wind back to Trois-Ilets; everyone got soaked by the sea-spray, but it was fun and very exhilarating. The crew was very professional and very funny. Our captain, Mike, kept the whole thing together - he was captain, crew, caretaker, and comedian all in one. The whole thing was about 4 1/2 hours, and we came back tired and very happy. Highest recommendation.

Exactly as advertised and a pleasant trip
We went on a half-day trip to se the anses and perhaps go to the Rocher du Diamant, with reservation for the temperament of the sea. We were also promised snorkling, swimming with turtles and drinks and fruits. Sadly, we couldn't go to the Rocher, but all the other promises were kept. Masks were provided, drinks were served, refill was very available and the fruit was fresh. The guide was very accomodating and gave us a translation to english for each message.

      wonderful afternoon trip
We had a great time on the Sherezade tour to Diamond Rock, beautiful and very interesting story, Lisa was kind enough to translate everything bc my daughter does not speak french. The atmosphere on the boat was amusing, somebody was celebrating a birthday and the music and dancing was so much fun, we were lucky enough to make a friend on the ride "Camille" adorable lady ! We will go back for sure in the future to see the dolphins, not enough time on this trip :(

      Perfect Afternoon, Great Tour!
We took the half day tour to Diamond Rock from Trois-Ilets. I cannot say enough good things about this tour and this company! The tour takes off from the marina in Trois-Ilets, which is walkable from most hotels in the general area. The rates are reasonable, the tour groups are small and intimate, and the captain and crew are excellent guides to the island. The tour is conducted in French, however, the crew made sure that those English speaking of us were included and kept informed on everything as well. Marie Eva was an excellent translator who really took the time to make sure that we got the full experience of our French counterparts. The island is beautiful and you can tell the crew really takes pride in the beauty of this country and it's history. And, after the sun goes down the real fun starts! Our tour included people of all ages, and everyone had a blast. If you have an afternoon free in Martinique, this is an A+++ way to spend it.

If you're an American, find another company
We booked this trip to see the dolphins and do some snorkeling over a coral reef. My husband speaks no French, but I do and am fairly fluent. I had no problem with the fact that I had to translate the tour guides narrative for my husband. I realize that we are in a foreign country and it is our responsibility to be able to get along. I also understand the importance of behaving in a matter that does not shame my country. With that in mind, I was absolutely shocked when we were pulling out from our snorkeling stop and I over heard the tour guide telling her counter part that Americans are idiots. It was bad enough that she condescended to us the entire trip, but that was uncalled for. The trip itself wasn't bad, but I can't imagine it was anything unique to what other companies offer. If you are an American here, you can choose from a number of companies. It's your choice to go where the tour guide calls you idiots.

      Great day at the Caribbean
A wonderful two trip day adventure on motor boat- to see dolphins and lovely views of northern Martinique in the morning with some snorkeling facing a picturesque village church from the seaside being topped by complimentary rum cocktails. The ship is perfect for Europeans with a perfect mix of covered and open Sun areas for travelers that want to enjoy the Sun but not to get burnt. The dolphins in the sea seem very curious of the boat and make sure you get enough superb pictures with them. Small break back in the marina lets you enjoy a nice lunch while looking at the boat and crabs looking at you while you see the ship being loaded with all the rum and goodies for your next trip. Evening trip takes you to see bats and maneuver into a cave followed by splendid views, an excellent company of people and rum being topped up by the circling of the Diamond Rock and a half hour snorkeling adventure with sea turtles and other wild life. The crew is awesome and very helpful and they know how to make you to enjoy your trip. It is a wonderful day adventure and we definitely recommend to go for a full day with them.

      Crowded, too little snorkeing time
We had to book with this company because we were there over New Years so everything was quite full. They were the only tour that had space available the day we needed to go. The boat was very crowded however I did not feel unsafe, I just would have liked more room to move around. All of the commentary was in French but all of the other tourists were French so I cannot complain about that and I do speak some French so I was able to translate and ask a few questions. The tour spent alittle too much time looking for dolphins but that was part of the tour and we did see them. If anyone has gone whale watching in New England, you know how this process is- they try to find them but can't guarantee you'll see any and it is very hit or miss. We did end up seeing a lot of the dolphins but I would have preferred more snorkeling. Also, if you do get seasick, I go not recommend this trip. We were a way out looking for the dolphins so we did bob in the swells. The snorkeling was on the way back and was in an ok spot. I think the depends on your level of snorkeling expertise and what you expect to see. If you are used to Turks and Caicos or BVI snorkeling, you may not be as impressed. I have snorkeled and dove extensively in the Caribbean but I still enjoyed this since it beats anywhere in New England. They did serve some snacks and rum punch or non alcoholic punch for kids, and there were several children on this trip ranging from toddler to teen.

      Private tour with Marco
On our last day, we wandered around the Marina looking for something to do. Tough to find something for same-day, but this company offered a private half day tour on a small boat. We agreed, and paid a deposit with instructions to come back at 1:30. Marco, the driver, met us and took us out on a wonderful half day tour. We cruised out of the Pointe, past Anses D'Arlet, and not quite as far as le Diamante. We peeked in bat caves, snorkeled in one cove particularly known for fish (saw sea stars, coral, many different fish, and tortoises), and enjoyed Marco's interesting points about the flora and fauna we saw around us. We had such a blast and Marco was fun, kind and trustworthy. Also he makes the best planters punch we had on the island ;-) Thanks Marco!

We took the water taxi over from the cruise terminal and visited Trois-Ilets on a day off the cruise ship, and having found the beach to be crowded a group of 8 managed to book a trip on the Power boat with Lisa our skipper. We had a wonderful time visiting the bat cave, a tour along the coast to a bay where we swam with numerous turtles and then was taken back across the straight to or cruise ship.

I had a great time. Brigitte was very helpful and friendly. Our captain & guide Lisa was brilliant. My French is very poor but her English is really good and she made sure to tell me in English about all of the sights and places we were going, the history, etc. She made everyone feel so relaxed and at home on board and you could tell she had a real passion and talent for what she does.

I did the south coast tour; we stopped off at various sites on the way south including a stop at a bat cave, and then reaching the southern most point on our trip Le Diamant/Diamond Rock which was beautiful. We then went back up north, stopping off at a beautiful snorkelling spot - I could have stayed there all day; quite deep but really clear water so good visibility right to the bottom and lots of interesting aquatic life. We then went to our second snorkelling spot which is where we all got to see and swim nearby a few turtles which I loved.

There was some rum punch and fresh fruit aswell which was really nice.

The boat was quite small, and altogether with 10 people on board - it felt cozy but not too cramped. The seas were pretty rough so be prepared for a very bumpy ride at times but personally I quite enjoyed that aspect of it! The snorkelling spots etc though were very calm.

All in all I had a great day and would highly recommend it. It was a really nice, friendly vibe the whole trip and I left on a real high. I got the impression of a company that really care about what they do and about peoples' experience, and aren't just trying to get as much money out of people as they can like maybe some other companies out there. Infact when I booked a couple of days in advance, Brigitte was really helpful on the phone with liaising with another similar company operating in the same bay to check their tour availability for me to make sure I could get the trip I wanted for the day I wanted. So it was really good to see them working with other people rather than cut-throat competition.

This was great!! Lisa was so knowledgeable about Diamond rock, the local food and her country. She went above and beyond for us. It was the perfect amount of time too, didn’t take up the entire day. We had a great time!
