    Old San Juan
    Stop: 90 minutes
After a short stop where the guide will point out these areas of interest, the fleet will cruise along the southern shores of the Islet towards the Historic District. On your way there, Old San Juan will rise in front of you in the distance and you will appreciate Fort San Cristobal, the largest fort built by the Spaniards in all the Americas, the cruise ship ports with the green mountains to the south and the Rainforest to the southeast. Along the way, you will feel the warm Caribbean breeze and may spot some of the local fauna. Once again, the group will reconvene to learn about the landmarks in the historic district: The San Juan Wall, Governor’s Mansion and the most famous fort in Puerto Rico, Fort San Felipe Del Morro; The perfect spot to take unique pictures. The last stop of your tour will take you by the most active commercial piers in the Caribbean, where you will observe San Juan commercial district, and Hato Rey through an eco-friendly water channel, within a mangrove vegetation area, house of iguanas, birds and local fauna.

Friendly guides. Good and sturdy boats. You feel safe, even when the wind is blowing. My only reccomendation would be to add some audio facility( remote) so that users may hear the guide better. Also some explanation on flora snd fauna, especially whilein the mangrove areas. Identification of important buildings in the old city will really round up the experience.

Great activity especially if visiting via cruise ship. Short taxi ride from the port. Our tour guides were knowledgeable about San Juan and it’s history as well as super friendly. You get to drive your own boats around the harbor and see a different perspective of the forts and coast. Very affordable excursion as you pay by the boat or at least we did when booking; keep an eye out for specials on their website because they run them!

Perfect excursion for myself and 2 sons! Boats go fast. I'm a first time boat driver and had no issues catching on and felt completely safe. The actual trip in water is about an hour and worth every penny, especially if you like a little adrenaline mixed in with your tour.

My 11 year old and I travel quite a bit. We have never been so disappointed in an excursion, or a company. We booked these mini boats through our concierge, we received a waiver that made me a bit uncomfortable so I found them. I did not realize that we would be driving our own inflatable boats, at the time they assured me everything was very safe and that we would be given instructions at the port. I tried to cancel the reservation and was told that a manager would be phoning me, I had phone them five times the day before to cancel and nobody ever phoned me back. When we got to the tour the man explaining how to drive the boats was standing outside and there were boats being loaded from the dock, it was so loud that none of the people could hear what he was saying, and he refused to take off his mask outside because he is UNVACCINATED (another employee told me). He became increasingly irritated because we could not hear him. The other employee had said in the past when it was noisy to please take the guests elsewhere to explain how to drive the boats, he did not.
I get down to the boat with my 11-year-old and we really have no idea how to drive this I could tell that the man was getting more irritated and he said if we were nervous that we needed to get out now before getting to the bay, so we did. I called the excursion company two more times was left on hold and was told that a manager would phone me, and they never did. We will be disputing the charge with our credit card company.

We had reservations for a dinghy on 11/12 in the afternoon, but there was a Coast Guard weather advisory for high winds until 8pm (see attached). We called to reschedule, but Gabriela said they were not canceling trips and would not change the date (I was even willing to pay a fee) or provide a refund). This is a blatant disregard for customer safety.

We really wanted to enjoy this tour, but had two major issues. First, the tour guide can’t be heard when you are in the boat. He mumbles a bit and doesn’t project his voice. We didn’t get to hear any of the tour. Second, there is a huge safety concern regarding how close they make you follow. If you don’t stay close to the boat in front of you, they constantly yell at you. This is safe at all when you are traveling at such a high speed. Plus, who wants to go on a tour where people constantly yell at you?

This is a perfect way to see San Juan from the water, which you really should, because it’s a whole different perspective. Our tour leader José was super nice, as were the rest of the staff. The inflatable boats were in top condition and easy to handle even for novices. Tip: wear a hat with a chin strap!

We had a nice morning on the mini boats.
Our guide was Bree (I think). She clearly knew her way around the boat and the waterways.
Because everyone is in their own little boats, there isn't a ton of opportunity to give information about the sites, so I recommend doing this activity after you've been in town for a few days and have a general sense of what you're seeing. So then the boats are just a different vantage point from which to see the places, rather than your introduction.
Be sure to wear lots of sunscreen!

Friends
called the day before to tell us “check in” for our tour was 45 minutes before the tour started. arrived, there was no check in. was sent to an area to wait outside, in the hot sun, no shade, no chairs for 45 minutes. i thought we were told to arrive early to receive instructions on how to operate mini boats. no. another 15-20 minutes standing around for that. we were on the boats for an hour, we spent more time standing around waiting than on the actual boats. the tour itself was completely underwhelming. was told there would be 5 stops/sights. we stopped twice. weren’t told what we were seeing, we just kind of stopped and looked. the mini boats themselves were pretty cool but the boat in front of us didn’t follow instructions and was zigzagging instead of driving in a straight line causing waves and a rough ride for us. at one point the same group got so close to another boat that they splashed a significant amount of water into the other boat. it was overall the worst tour we took and definitely not worth the money we spent. hot, sweaty, and so much waiting.

I grew up in San Juan and have visited Old San Juan thousands of times, but this was a completely new way to see the city. It was super fun and the photo ops are amazing. I will definitely do the tour again. Highly recommend!
