2 travelers
We take you off the beaten path with a small group (4-11 people) to enjoy the majestic rainforest and taste the local cuisine of this enchanted island. Book with us your 8-hour day tour away from the tourist traps for a unique and personal experience!
We take you off the beaten path by visiting the south side of the El Yunque rainforest for a 25-minute hike to a hidden gem! Descend here to the natural pool where you can swim, relax, cliff jump or try out the rope swing above the water. For more adventure, you can follow your guide by climbing further upriver, over the big rocks formations, for (about 15 minutes). Enjoy the waterfalls, slide down the natural water slide, or make a 40-feet foot cliff jump into the river! Your guide will prepare delicious local fresh fruits once you’ve reached the natural pool.
The last stop is at the famous Luquillo Kiosko’s, where you’ll find souvenir shops and a choice of 60 different restaurants located on a strip located along the beach.
  • Hike and swim in El Yunque with your guide and small group
  • Escape San Juan and experience lush rainforest scenery
  • Hike to water activities, including a natural water slide and cliff jump
  • Included fresh fruit, plus a stop for lunch and souvenirs (own expense)
What to Expect
The tour begins with pickup, either from your metropolitan San Juan hotel or from a central Old San Juan location. Experience El Yunque rainforest with your local guide and a maximum of 11 guests. Bring shoes for hiking rugged terrain, a bathing suit, towel, and a change of clothing.
After a stop at a local fruit stand, you head to El Yunque and its natural pools. Take a dip in the refreshing water or embrace your inner Tarzan with the rope swing. Continue on a 15-minute hike over big rock formations until you reach the waterfalls and natural water slide. There’s a 40-foot (12-meter) cliff jump for the more adventurous.
Enjoy a small snack of delicious, fresh fruits before hiking back to your transportation. From there, you head to Luquillo Kiosko, a group of food and souvenir stalls along the beach for lunch (own expense).
The tour ends with hotel drop-off.
