10 stars over 3 days! What impressed me most was Rafael's wide open heart and gentle manner, almost paternal, he made us feel safe and free. Rafael is a US army vet who does mostly private tours. Like many Puerto Ricans he has a rich life experience and can relate to everything from fixing cars to raising horses. He took us far beyond old San Juan to the hidden wonders of this beautiful island and we fell in love. When my daughter was too scared to jump off the cliff into the water, he jumped in first to show her it was ok! He wasn't planning to, but he snorkeled with us so we would feel more confident. We told him things we wanted to see and food we wanted to try, and he took us to the best of each, so we basically ate our way from arecibo to Corozal to ponce to guanica all the way to la Parguera. I can't say enough good things. At first I was nervous because he accepts deposits through venmo but let me tell you, there was nothing to worry about. He gave us more than we could have imagined and I was so happy for the memories. God bless you Rafael and your family, thank you for the incredible experience, I have tears in my eyes as I write this, you were a jewel and we loved you so much! You will be uncle Rafa to Lauren forever!

The perfect getaway is a must do! The tour guide was the best we told him what we wanted to get out of the trip and he did his best to make everything happen for us. He not only showed us the caves but he showed us the secret ways to get in and where to find the the ancient cave art! He then showed us a secluded swimming pool. Next we went to a waterfall and we got to jump off a rope swing into a river! Finally we got a fantastic meal. He even stopped on the road for us to get these fresh and huge pinacolatas. We felt safe the whole time and He went above and beyond when he helped us find a snorkeling tour for the next day with people he knows!

If you have a day to explore some of the truly special places in Puerto Rico this is your tour! Rafael is so passionate about Puerto Rico and sharing all of his knowledge. He is not joking when he tells you this is a long tour! My husband and I were picked up around eight in the morning and didn’t return to our hotel until 10 o’clock at night! We first went snorkeling at Cueva del Indio, and Rafael knew the perfect excluded private location to take us to. Breathtaking. Then we drove to Catarata Gozalandia where we enjoyed an amazing traditional lunch and explored the waterfalls and swimming pools of the jungle. This location is more public and more crowded, but not overly so. There was definitely enough room to explore, climb and jump off the cliffs and rope swings. Under Raphael’s recommendation we drove to watch the sunset on the beach, and then stopped at a wonderful bakery for sandwiches for dinner. Raphael spent every minute sharing stories and his passion for PR!

Rafael is seriously the best tour guide. We knocked out most of the items on our to-do list and others in just one day with him! Snorkeling, cliff diving, cave exploring, hiking through the rainforest, jumping off waterfalls, swinging from a rope into a gorgeous swimming hole, along with multiple delicious meals! We enjoyed the one day so much we booked him again later that week! Rafael knows of many local spots that tourists aren't aware of, and I think that's the cool part. If you want to see the bioluminescent bay I highly recommend going with Rafael. He took us to a secluded area with no light pollution and the bioluminescence was so beautiful!

This was a great tour. Cliff jumping, snorkeling, hiking, hot springs
But most importantly, my daughter lost her phone. By a miracle another tourist found it. After 12
Hours of taking us around and being a great host, Rafael drove another 35 minutes away, got the phone and brought it back to us. It was truly above abs beyond. We cannot be more appreciative.

When planning our trip to Puerto Rico, most of our activities were in Old San Juan so I wanted to find something that took us away from that area. I booked this getaway for the last day of our vacation. What a perfect ending to our trip!
Our day started out with Rafael and his son Daniel picking us up from our hotel (they were even early!). To our surprise, we were the only family so we had a personalized experience all day long.
Not only did we get to see some amazing places in Puerto Rico but we learned a lot about the history as well. Rafeal went out of his way to make our day amazing. On the way back to our hotel we mentioned our love of coffee so he stopped at the best coffee shop in all of Puerto Rico. I also mentioned wanting to find some guava jam so he stopped at a grocery store and took us in to find what I was looking for.
We couldn't have been more happy with our day. I highly recommend this Perfect Getaway!

Overall, this trip was extremely well crafted. From taking us scenic and picturesque sites, snorkeling, and rock climbing there was something for everyone. Definitely suggest hiking shoes that are able to get wet but otherwise, I would suggest this trip for moderately active people. 10/10 would recommend though

Today was the 2nd time that we went out with Raphael. He really is the real deal.Kind, considerate, and goes out of his way to make sure the trip is customized just for you and the group. There is no other person that I will call and puerto rico (period)! Whatever problem or issue you may have while in Puerto Rico I am confident that Raphael will go out of his way to help.

I have been to almost every Caribbean island and snorkeled at all of them and this was THE BEST . the caves were amazing, water was gorgeous even saw sea turtles! the food we stopped at in the rainforest was authentic and great. and very minimal crowds because our tour guide took us to lowkey spots! and our guide even let us make a stop for rum and pina coladas!!! I loved how our tour guide was so chill and didn’t rush us. will do again

I cannot list a single memory that was not fantastic!!!! Everything was amazing. I didnt " select" a package I put my trust forward and let the entire day be a surprise. Getting picked up and not have to do the driving or worrying about extra cost were worth it by itself! I love that everything was personalized and it felt like the day was ours! Plenty of sites and places were visited and a nice little spot with authentic food..It is a bonus that Rafael is great conversation and has a wealth of knowledge. I would book him every single time ..We were blown away by service and experience!!! Thank you so much for going above the typical tour guide and experience.(forgot to add that pictures can be taken so you can keepsake your memories)
