- 1After arriving to Las Paylas, located on the east side of El Yunque Rainforest, your initial hike will start off as pure adventure!. You will journey on a dirt/rock path, and muddy terrain. This trail is surrounded by bamboo trees, rainforest flowers, and many other beautiful plants. After the hike, you will enjoy from the water activities. First visit a river and collecting pool that forms at the base of a waterfall. Take the time here and cool off on it's refreshing waters. Here you will have the opportunity to cliff jump into the natural pools, swing from a rope or go down the natural water slides (these are optional). We will then return hiking thru the same path we arrived. Before the tour end, we’ll stop at a local restaurant for lunch (food cost not included),from there we’ll end the tour at the beautiful Luquillo’s Beach before returning to your initial meeting point. This stop tends to take 1.5 to 2 hours

He took us through San Juan and Old San Juan stopping often to view the sites and to get out and explore different areas. His knowledge of the area and its history is amazing. We learned so much and had fun while doing so. We also stopped at a quaint city square park for coffee then on to a delicious authentic Puerto Rican lunch including mofongo and rice. We recommend this to anyone looking for a real one on one San Juan experience.Written February 3, 2024

My sisters and I travelled to Puerto Rico for the first time, and we know that our experience would not have been as amazing as it was if we did not book with Alberto and his company Island Experience Tours!! The Rainforest and waterfall were absolutely breathtaking and Alberto also brought us to try some delicious food at some local spots in the area!! If you are looking to learn about the amazing history and culture of the island, try some amazing food, and also meet some amazing people, I definitely recommend booking with Alberto and his company!! This experience was so amazing that by the end of the trip we all felt like family and we are already looking forward to booking a trip back just to book with Alberto again. You definitely don't want to miss out on this experience!

Alberto was FANTASTIC!!! Our group had a fabulous time - this definitely was the highlight of our trip! He showed us all the local spots, took great photos, and entertained us the whole time. It was like a private tour and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Would 100% recommend!

In short I had the privilege to be with the best guide tour in Puerto Rico: ALBERTO made my experience in El Yunque rainforest and Luqilo beach something beyond any expectations. Since the first moment Alberto showed all his expertise to treat well guests who want enjoy the beauty of nature in PR - in less than 10 minutes I was feeling like part of his family. It was a adorable experience most of because Alberto who as a local knows everything about the places and history of PR. You’ll be lucky if you get Alberto to show you PR.

Alberto was more than a guide, he shared the Puerto Rican history, facts, culture, as well as his own personal stories that made this a very special day. Pick up and drop off were on time, relaxed, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the sights and sounds of the rainforest as well as the water fun, and the beach. I would highly recommend his services, and will be calling him again for our next trip to PR!!

First and foremost, our tour guide, Alberto was the absolute best! We were looking for a more low impact tour given we were going with my mom and he took great care of us, especially my mom! Making sure she can hike the rocks and even learning to swim at Luqillo Beach(LOL)!
He was absolutely knowledgable and so accommodating for our small group of 4.
Genuinely would book with Alberto anytime im back! It literally felt he knew everyone on the island and we felt very taken care of! The pick up was easy and he was very communicative.

This tour was amazing and so special, especially because it was with some good friends on Thanksgiving. My friends and I got to meet Alberto and take the tour on our first day in PR, and his tour was the perfect introduction to la isla de encanto. Pick up was a breeze. The van was super comfortable.
Alberto, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He had a great sense of humor while also being supportive and encouraging while on the hike. He did a good job of keeping us all safe and in one piece. Alberto shared a lot with us about Puerto Rican culture as well as the biodiversity of the island.
We had lunch at an affordable local spot with plenty of options. The food was delicious. The piña 🍍 coladas were cold and strong. The beach we visited after lunch was beautiful and not at all crowded. Alberto really made the tour feel special. He had quite a few pearls of wisdom to impart paired with lots of levity. I highly recommend that you take a tour with this company.

We had Alberto and it was like we knew him all our life! He told us history of the island that we never knew. He made my kids feel safe and went the extra mile to help me get around the trails and rocks. Those was an experience of a lifetime. I'm greatful we experienced with Alberto! Thank you Alberto for making the Colón family's experience special!

My boyfriend and I booked this excursion and it was 100% worth it. We had the best time! Alberto was our guide and he was attentive to our needs, very accommodating, and easy to talk to. He was the best guide we could’ve asked for! We would definitely book this again!

10/10 recommended with Alberto! He went above and beyond for me and my friends to have an everlasting experience. The food was great and the beach was mesmerizing! He is very knowledgeable about Caribbean history and is bilingual if you aren’t fluent in Spanish. Alberto made us feel safe, especially since two of us could not swim and one had a disability that he was mindful of. Alberto is very fun to be around, trustworthy, and was my favorite part of the trip.

Alberto Morales and Island Experience Tours was absolutely fantastic for our family on our first trip to Puerto Rico. We booked Alberto’s services for three days of our 6 night trip. On time, every time. Incredibly informative. A genuine pleasure to spend time with, which for a person that we were investing a sizable amount of our vacation with, this choice was possibly as important if not more than finding the right vacation accommodations. Highly recommend for his professional and hospitality.
