While on vacation at a local resort, we booked this tour. The tour includes 5-6 stops at local bars throughout Negril. One or two bars were a little on the seedy side, but we felt safe and had no issues. Other bars were fun and very relaxed. A couple of the bars were part of a resort or restaurant. The other guests really made it a good time. Several guests were from the UK and led several boisterous sing-alongs to the tour bus sound system.
My take and 2 cents: 1) Be patient with the pickup; you’re on Jamaica time! 2) The tour guide was very friendly and kept us on schedule. It’d be nice if he offered up some bar-history or info while driving to the stops. 3) The crew you’re with may influence how much fun you have. The other guests we were lucky enough to hang out with were a blast. 4) Pace yourself when drinking. We had time for about 2 drinks per stop. If you throw back a couple of rum shots, it can catch up to you quickly:) 5) Be aware some folks at the bars may ask you to buy them drinks, sell smoke, ask for tips, or tie wristbands on you and expect payment. Some times we did, some times we didn’t. It might come across as a little pushy, but people were otherwise polite. 6) Drink costs were reasonable; $5 to $7 US per drink. Budget $80 per person, give or take. 7) Seating was cramped. Learn to embrace “one love” with your fellow passengers :)
Highly recommend if you want to enjoy a safe way to enjoy a few of the local bars.

The one love bus tour was so much fun and I highly recommend anyone booking this! My only regret is we didn’t book it sooner.
The bus takes you to 6 local bars where you meet a variety of people and experience different vibes- my fave was the sunset walk cafe.
By the end of the trip on the ride home, we were all singing and laughing together. Such a fun day out - it was one of our favourite days!
There are local kids at some of the stops who will ask for a dollar etc and hang onto the bus- I think some people were wary of this but it didn’t bother us.
Also the bus cand be crowded and some people have to stand. Which again we didn’t mind but older people might.

I heard many people commend this tour and it was definitely a blast! I’d highly recommend it for anyone who wants to experience authentic Jamaican culture! There’s something special about 20 strangers on a bus all singing and hearing the various accents of people all over the world. I don’t drink much at all, but I still had a great time getting a drink or two and then just enjoying the various places.
The only thing that broke my heart was to see how some people on the bus waved dollars at some children and promised to give them money for dancing or “doing a trick.” Children are not for our entertainment, period. If people want to give them money, that’s great, but don’t make a scene of it or ask them to perform. This seems like common sense, but for some people on our bus that was not the case. The kids will want to even dive and do things to “work” for donations. Just donate because you want to and cheer on their dives like you would for children back home. Kids deserve to be celebrated. They don’t have to “work” for our dollars.
All that being said, I definitely recommend the tour and it’s truly an awesome experience and way to support the local economy. Definitely go! You’ll make many memories!

So where to begin? Standing room only on the bus as it circles some of the worst roads in Negril. No input, conversation, information, or what to expect from the driver or guide. Children attaching themselves to the outside of the bus, riding on the back and sitting ON the open windows on the outside of the bus. The stops were not really long enough to enjoy a drink; it was drink it in as fast as possible to get to the next one. I cannot recommend this for grown adults...maybe younger folks won't mind it, but it was not for me.

My daughter had done this the year before ,and id seen the pics,vids and her experience looked cultural and ended with a DJ and sunset vibes. So I booked it as a treat for 2 friends 2.15pm from Club Riu..returned at 7.30pm ish. We enjoyed it but first 30 to 40 mins was pick ups found the drink stops were too quick before moving on..roughly, 20 mins per bar,with (40 plus ) one love bus passengers to serve at each stop it was a rush. I think we did two hotel bars... one small bar which felt more local...pirates bar and one where youngsters jumped off cliffs at sunset. You soon get tipsy with rum or drink priced roughly 10 USD per stop... but I was hoping for longer last stop..with music,bit of dancing .The bus we sang along, like the train home from liverpool. I think too many passengers on this made it rushed . At 20 usd dollars per person its a cheap taxi for pub crawl and we chatted to couple people but too many to really gel as a party.

This was by far one of the best experiences we had in Jamaica. Lenbert's tour takes you to some breathtaking places. Each bar has as unique people running them as the establishments themselves. We stopped at 5 different places on our night enjoying spectacular views, great drinks, and meeting some wonderful people on our tour as well. The social aspect of this tour cannot be discounted at all in our description. It was amazing. Fun couples, fun people, and the vibe all evening long was amazing. Lenbert was very friendly and personable and the community that he supports shows in the way they treat him as well. If there is one tour to do in Negril, it is this one. Anyone who appreciates hole in the wall bars and spectacular views, will not want to miss this. Drinks ranged from (USD)$3-$5 for Red Stripe at each stop to $5-$10 per cocktail. All reasonable and all quality drinks. Bring cash for the bars and of course to take care of Lenbert at the end of the night as well.

Great time!A little leery in the beginning on a crowded bus w strangers of all walks of life….we were singing songs together by the end!!! Best part of the experience for me was going to the local “bars”. Would rather frequent the non commercial bars and give directly back to the people.

What a great way to see parts of Negril you wouldn’t normally experience, meet some lovely locals, see the sunset and have a few beers whilst doing it. Lenbert was great, let us know when he was picking us up and was there on the dot! He took us to several bars ran by locals. We got around 20-30 mins in each place. Would highly recommend doing at the start of your holiday as you’ll come across some nice lunch/dinner spots too!

Excellent tour for the drinker and non-drinker alike. We went more for the tour and sightseeing than the alcohol. The breathtaking water views up close and personal were awesome. Everybody had a great time hopping on and off the One Love Bus. The coordinator agreed to pick up our party of four from Burger King since we were staying at an Airbnb. The event Founder and Coordinator does a GREAT job of taking the One Love Bus into a local community. We intentionally traveled from the USA with school paper, pens, pencils, toothbrushes, etcetera for the children that get so excited to see the One Love Bus. It felt so heartwarming to bring a smile to the locals and well worth traveling with the extra weight of supplies. Book this tour, bring extra supplies from home for the locals and get your drink on!

This has to be added to the itinerary of anyone holidaying in Negril! Collected from our hotel in the One Love Bus, we collected some others (soon to become new friends) on the way and we were very soon at the first of six bars with an incredible view. Each bar was authentic, in a beautiful spot, and everything about the afternoon was perfect. Music on the bus made it fun and the whole experience was incredible. We paid 20 USD per person (and then added a tip) for the trip and we bought drinks at each bar we visited. We stayed at each bar for around 30 mins and the travel between bars was short. Absolutely recommend - it made our holiday!
