About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- pengpeng380 contributionsHighly recommendWell organised, educational, fun, a real community not ‘made’ for tourism. 500 people live in the community. It’s in the heard of the countryside with roaring rivers and beautiful mountains. The real Jamaica. Around a 1.5hr drive from Montego Bay but we’ll worth it. Jeremy the driver offered a comfortable and informative ride there and back with options to stop off if required - local jerk shop, souvenirs etc Our guides Bobby and Ali were AMAZING! If you want to smoke, you can if you don’t, there’s no pressure. You ride on ATVs at the pace of the group. We are in an all inclusive but this is an option to see real Jamaica, real people, interesting conversations and whether you smoke or not, it’s great. Highly recommend. Tips to management for improvement, based on similar ATV tours worldwide: 1. Provide option for water on transfers (it’s a long drive) 2. Briefings before using the ATV could be more thorough (especially for nervous passengers)Written October 3, 2024
- John P0 contributionsAn excellent trip, and a good way to see some real Jamaica. John and Sarah Preston. This is an excellent trip. Owen our driver was very informative and avoided lots of potholes! Benni and Nick were our guides around the village on the ATVs; they too were a pleasure to talk with. Respect to all three and those who served lunch.Written September 29, 2024
- SereneSeven0 contributionsMUST DO!Great experience from the beginning to the end. I had to change my tour date twice due to a medical situation, so I reached out to the vendor and they were able to accommodate me. We were picked up from Secrets St James at exactly 10:00 am as promised, our driver (Kenneth) was very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. We stopped right before the village for food and to use the restroom. Once we arrived to the village we were met with more warm, smiling faces, and started the tour. The vehicles used (2 seater Polaris) WAS BRAND NEW!!! We learned so much while having fun, even stopping to take a dip in a natural river & visiting the Ganja Farm. We did not get to try any fruit as none are currently in season. At the conclusion of the tour, we got to eat an authentic Vegan meal which was DELISH! Only complaint is- There was nothing other than water offered with the meal (even for purchase) we were told they were all sold out. Id highly recommend if your looking for an authentic experience off the beaten path.Written September 29, 2024

- SmGoodys0 contributionsThanks for a great experience! My son and I went on this tour, while others in our party went golfing. WE LOVED THIS TRIP! Our driver that picked us up was very nice and talked to us on our drive to the tour and told us some cool facts about the island. (I can't remember our drivers name.) Our guides Bobby and Shane were the best! They took us through their community and all around the property and told us some history behind the land there. They kept us laughing and having a good time the whole way. Very cool trip all around if you are looking for something cool to do!Written September 15, 2024

Seeing the beauty of the land, animals and people make you understand the simpler things in life are more important. Learning the different herbs and all they can do was so insightful. - feliciamY3145OR0 contributionsAmazing time with amazing peopleI absolutely loved this excursion Allen was my tour guy and he took really good care of me, he make sure I didn’t have to do a thing, he was very knowledgeable about the tour and the culture of Jamaica, he provided so much detail I almost started to look for property to purchase. I witness a cow just giving birth, and history of the land of Jamaica, oh and please don’t let me forget to mention that they even provide lunch at the end of the tour which was delicious vegan foodWritten August 30, 2024
- Sylvia G0 contributionsThe best tour of this Jamaican trip and we will be back!!This tour was absolutely our best pick! Our driver, Junior had great energy, made us feel comfortable from the onset, and provided a wealth of historic details throughout our safe and scenic drive. Our ATV tour guides, Chris and Spencer guided us through the 300+ acres and made us feel like part of the village as we swam in the river and bought cake from Ms. Brown. We met up with the empress of all plant knowledge, as she shared the benefits of the native plants! And the vegetarian lunch at the end was delicious. We’ll be back!!!!Written August 30, 2024
- N3759LAmalikm0 contributionsA Must Go : Rastasafari ExperienceThe RastaSafari Experience hands-down the best UTV tour I've ever experienced. One of the most memorable aspects was witnessing the community's deep involvement in the tour. The guides were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made the experience truly enjoyable. This ATV trail offers a unique opportunity to explore the local community, reconnect with nature, and indulge in various activities. From sampling medicinal herbs to swimming, diving and driving, there's something for everyone. Highly recommended!Written August 26, 2024
- Christine B0 contributions100% do this excursionOmg!! What an amazing experience we had. This is definitely the best excursion we did. My family of 5 had the best day ever. We got picked up when they said, from where we were picked up it’s definitely a drive. The driver did stop for us to use the bathroom to buy drinks or food. We were greeted with drinks. We loved learning about the different plants and then going on the ATV tour what beautiful spots we stopped at. Neiko and Andre are the best!! After the tour we had a wonderful meal. Definitely if we come back we would do this again.Written August 25, 2024

Wow, wow, wow! What a fabulous must do trip. We were collected from our hotel in Negril at 8am, the taxi driver was very informative with lots of local knowledge along the way. When we arrived we were welcomed with a drink and complimentary water. You will experience the true Jamaica, from bush medicine to locals and even Ganja fields. The ATVs are of top quality and easy to drive, you follow a guide on motorbike and there’s a guide at the back too. The setting is idyllic. We stopped off for a beer from the locals and to buy homemade gifts, we had a swim in a lovely cool crystal clear river and even had freshly chopped sugar cane. When we returned to the main campus with the atvs we were welcomed to eat a freshly cooked meal (all grown on the land). We learned so much about the plants, wildlife and Jamaican life in general. This trip certainly made our Jamaican holiday the best ever. Take some sweets if you can go hand out to the local children and guides as they are so unbelievably grateful. We will definitely return.

I travel a lot and this is truly one of the best excursions I have ever been on. It's the perfect combination of everything I love- Nature, culture, food, education, and fun. It's very authentic, not like something that is just staged for tourists. I left feeling a part of the place. I hope the guys running this will keep it as a small group experience no matter how popular it gets.

This was one of the best Excursions I've taken while on vacation!! I did this excursion on a Tuesday (2/14) from Negril.
To witness how some of locals live on land, and to see the cattle and goats roaming around was pretty cool. I also enjoyed eating pure sugar cane, eating some of the plants and experiencing the ganja. The weed farm was so dope!!!! To hear how it's grown and to have the science explained made me have an even deeper appreciation to the culture that was shared with me.
I did this Excursion with my boyfriend and 2 other friends and they all enjoyed the excursion as well. One thing I will say, is buying snacks at the shop was kinda pricey. We brought 2 Popsicles and the total was $8 USD, seemed pretty inflated.
Also wanted to share that, even if you purchase 1 ATV under 1 reservation, they will still pair you with someone else. The person in charge of the execution claims that there has to be 2 people per ATV, even if you are strangers.

From our driver Dale to our tour guide Stylie to Carlos who was with us for part of the tour-we couldn't have asked for better service. I also had questions before we booked and when I messaged through Facebook, I had replies very quickly.
They really do a great job giving you an inside look at what life is like away from the tourist areas. The scenery is beautiful and the people that we met along the way (example-store owner and kids at the school we stopped at) are so kind and genuine that you can't help but he affected by it in a positive way. Take a half day and do this tour! It's always fun to be behind the wheel, or being a passenger in my case, and just have some fun! Water shoes are a good idea if you intend on getting in at one of the stops you make (it's cold but very clear and refreshing). Also, you'll have the chance to get a drink later in the tour, but if you'd like some during then you should bring a bottle or two of water along with you. Do it, you won't regret it. It's powerful.

If I could rate this amazing experience with more than 5 stars I completely would. My husband and I honeymooned in Negril (20th to 30th January 2022), and as much as we loved lazing around on the beach we wanted to see some “real Jamaica” and we definitely did.
Our driver, Junior, who was sent to drive us when we booked, arrived ahead of time to collect us for the trip was really friendly and pointed out local landmarks and towns on the way, he also waited until we were done and took us back to our hotel.
We were greeted with a welcome glass of rum and introduced to Kush who gave us an initial tour and a warm welcome to the village, pointing out local plants and telling us a bit about the area.
From this point we headed out in the ATV with Styleman and Bobby - they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish and we had a brilliant time. The drive was pleasantly longer than we expected it to be, we had multiple stops to dip in the river, eat some fresh sugar cane, Jamaican apples and guava, and of course a lovely cold red stripe. Our guides were so welcoming and informative, we visited the cotton tree and the saw the natural spring, Styleman and Bobby were wonderful, we felt completely at ease and they were always on hand to answer our questions and offering to take photos and tell us so much about this amazing community and the history. We finished off the trip with a wonderful Ital meal overlooking beautiful mountains and lush tropical greenery.
If you’re new to visiting Jamaica (like us!) or have visited before but have mainly experienced the “tourist excursions” I would highly recommend you book this - it will not disappoint!

Our family of four, 2 girls ages 11 and 9, loved this tour! We took a private taxi from our hotel in Negril (about an hour drive) into the hillside where we stopped and saw a waterfall, then walked through farm land to learn about local spices/fruits and then walked up to ride the side by sides. Our girls loved this part. Beautiful! We stopped along the way and jumped off the bridge with some locals then made our way back for a delicious meal. Would highly recommend this experience for people looking outside the typical touristy, overcrowded trips.

We took multiple tours in Negril and its surrounding area. This was, by far, the best tour we took. We were a party of six including two teenagers and two grandparents, and all three generations agreed that this was our favorite. We enjoyed spending time on the resort, but we wanted to see what the "real" Jamaica looked like. This tour did not disappoint!
Our shuttle driver did a wonderful tour/history of the area as we were driving from Negril to the tour site. He was very knowledgeable about the area and answered our many questions.
Our tour guides on site were so gracious and welcoming to us. We enjoyed the sugar cane, rum, and fresh fruit on the tour. Our teenage boys enjoyed driving the route and shuttling us around. During the trip, a large rain stormed happened. It was a warm, refreshing rain that we don't experience back home. We made multiple stops along the way enjoying the flora, fauna, geography, and scenic points.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the countryside and "mountains" of Jamaica. It was well worth every penny we spent.
At the end of the tour, they fed us a traditional meal. It was very simple, but it was one of our favorite meals from the entire week we were in Jamaica.

This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Jamaica. We loved seeing the countryside and watching the local children play in the water. It was refreshing to see kids being kids instead of inside playing PlayStation or on Tablets. Our tour guides, Colwayn and Deano were amazing! The rushing water is so clean and cold, you can drink it and bring some back with you. The views are breathtaking. Be sure to bring your camera. I'd recommend water shoes and sunglasses to protect you from any debris kicking up from the ATV. You will definitely want to tip your tour guide! They deserve it. You may get a little muddy but not too much. Besides seeing the local kids play my other favorite part of this tour was seeing/smelling all the fresh herbs growing from the trees. Not ganga but garlic, lime, turmeric, basil and so many more!

Members of our group went on this experience and came back raving about how amazing it was. We booked ours for the next day and they were absolutely right. We experienced parts of Jamaica that were so beautiful and pure, and learned so much along the way. The guides are locals and you feel like you’re being let into their hometown and lives.
*Bus driver picked us up from our resort in Negril and took an hour drive to get to the location.
*once we arrived take a short walk to the ATV, bathrooms and refreshments are available
*spend the next three hours or so exploring, trying local fruits, swimming (if you want), seeing spectacular views
*delicious vegan lunch back at the start.
There’s a bit of walking/hiking and this experience would be fun for families, couples, anyone looking to explore Jamaica outside of the resorts. We felt completely safe and welcome the entire time. 100% recommend. One love!

This experience is a CANT miss. So much fun riding the ATV and a truly authentic Jamaican experience. It's a little bit of a drive but you get to see areas of Jamaica that you don't see at the beach or at your resort. Our driver there and back was Clinton Francis and he is a genuine soul and was great to hang out with! He made us feel completely safe for the drive there and back. We met Carlos, Styly, and Gong when we got there and they were our guides and stuck with us throughout the whole tour of their village. Hanging out with the Rastafarians and seeing their village was incredible and such a fun experience ! My boyfriend even wanted to go back and do it all again a couple days later. Make sure you bring extra cash to purchase some drinks and truly experience the Rasta lifestyle. As well as to tip all the amazing people you meet along your journey that assist in this unforgettable experience and allow you to tour and be apart of their home for the day. Bless up, Rasta! Jamaica!

I would like to do this excursion with me and my 2 kids ages 11 and 13, do the ATV’s accommodate 3 people?
Written August 8, 2023
They do only hold two people but I'm wondering if you ask them if they would put the older child in with one of the workers or something
Written August 9, 2023
What is the weight restriction for the ATV?
Written August 27, 2022
I would say that the ATV can easily carry 300lbs. My driver/ tour guide and I were comfortable in the vehicle without any problems during my driving around the property.

Ok so we want to do this one the 1030 one we will be in negril so does that mean I put 1130 for pick up confusing

It this tour appropriate for someone with a bad back? Seats look nicely cushioned but is the ride really bumpy?
Written February 23, 2022
I would like to see an answer to the question: Are there weight restrictions for the ATV? Is there a lot of climbing?
Written February 2, 2022
Not sure about weight restrictions but doubt it and it is a gentle slow short walk. Most of it you are in the ATV
