Shore Excursion: Island Tour and Bamboo Beach in Ocho Rios
From $40.00
Overview
When your MSC or Disney cruise ship docks in Ocho Rios, experience some of Jamaica on a 5-hour tour that visits cultural sites and a beautiful private beach. See statues of Marcus Garvey and Christopher Columbus, the lush forest of Fern Gully, and the 16th-century Lady of Perpetual Help church. Then relax with a cool drink on Bamboo Beach, and have the option to swim, book a massage, or purchase a meal at the beachside restaurant. Includes port pickup and drop-off for MSC and Disney cruise ships.
What to Expect
After port pickup at MSC or Disney cruise ships, ride in an air-conditioned vehicle to several cultural sites to begin your tour.
Pass statues of notables including Marcus Garvey and Christopher Columbus, then stop at Lady of Perpetual Help church, which dates back to 1534. Stop at High View Point great photo ops, before traveling into the dense forest of Fern Gully.
Make a short stop for souvenir shopping on the way to Bamboo Beach, then sip the provided welcome drink as you take a seat in your beach chair. Have time to swim, sunbathe, or book a massage or other beauty treatment at the spa tent (own expense). Additional food and drinks are available for purchase at the beachside restaurant.
You can also use the complimentary WiFi, and rent snorkeling gear or a kayak to explore the Caribbean Sea. Your tour ends with return to your cruise ship dock after five hours.
