My wife and I have been to Jamaica eight times. The first seven, beginning in 2003, we stayed at Couples Negril. Our most recent vacation was to Couples Tower Isle, so that we could see another part of the island. My wife booked this tour with Delton, but when our scheduled day came, it was raining and overcast, and so we asked Delton to reschedule. Our schedule was very flexible, and Delton was extremely accommodating. He finally contacted us on the morning of our tour, and we all agreed that the weather was looking promising, so we decided to go. Delton picked us up right on time, in his very clean van, and we were on our way. In the drive from our resort to the Falls, he explained so much about Ocho Rios and the region, pointing out numerous points of interest. When we got to the Falls, he handled all the arrangements, and we were on our way. We had told him in advance that we had no desire to actually get in the water, so we took a leisurely stroll down the paths and stairways that parallel the Falls, eventually ending up on the beach. It was nice to see the wonderful condition of the facilities, as clearly this attraction is a tourist favorite, and the Jamaicans treat it as such. We took our time, and took all the necessary pictures, including one with Delton that we talked a very nice lady into taking of us. During the tour, Delton pointed out all the various trees and other plants, making sure that we understood how important each one was. Once we left the Falls, Delton took us up through Fern Gulley, explaining the history of the roadway (which since it was raining, we could easily see how it might have been a stream before it was paved). Again, he kept us informed of the features, and the history. As we got to the turn-around point, we passed a Scotch Bonnet field, and he graciously maneuvered his van around so that we could get some pictures which included the ripe peppers. We grow Habaneros in our garden back in Texas, and we loved seeing their Jamaican cousins growing as well. On our way back to the resort, he took us down through central Ocho Rios, explaining the various buildings, and pointing out the local points of interest. All in all, an extraordinary experience, seemed like we had spent a half a day with an old friend, showing us around, with pride, his homeland. We have taken a number of private tours during our travels, but never one that was as informative and relaxing as our time with Delton.

Good morning! Albert was awesome! Very patient and informative about the beautiful sights of Jamaica. We drove through the fern gully and learned more about. Also ate authentic Jamaican food and tried some Red stripe. The tour ended with souvenir shopping and he ensured a timley arrival back to the ship. 5 stars for Albert🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

My fiancé and I visited the cool blue hole with a reservation from Dr. fun tour. Our cruise ship carnival sunrise was a little late to let passengers off, but even with our agreed meeting time he stuck around to make sure we found him. Denton was awesome. It was about a 30 minute ride in his shuttle van, but once we got there, it was amazing to see the views. We were allowed to make multiple cliff jumps and doing most of them two and three times. Once the tour was complete, he even asked if we wanted to have time just to swim or hang out before heading back to the cruise port. They have a photographer follow you throughout your tour and take awesome pictures that we ended up purchasing overall I give Dr. fun tours a 100% rating my fiancé and I will be back to do it again.

Delton is amazing tour guide and excellant driver! We learn so much about Jamaica from him. The coffee tour was perfect - local roastery and farm with freshly brewed coffee with local people was absolutly amazing. We have so much fun on this tour :) I highly recommand to spend a day or two with Delton.

Our tour guide "Doctor Fun Tours" aka Delton, was absolutely welcoming and amazing! We started our journey from our resort and headed out to our destination, The Blue Hole. Delton was extermly knowledgeable on the local information of Jamaica. He explained the land, history, locals, different foods on our journey to and from. And let's not forget the Doctor Fun Song on our way!!! Such energy and fun!!! When we arrived at The Blue Hole, Delton made arrangements with our tour guide Lindo. And we started our amazing journey to different locations along the river with Lindo. Lindo was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the tree's and water history in that area. He also took videos and amazing pictures of us jumping and swimming, along our journey down the river. Something we will never forget and can look back on as such an amazing experience!! Thank you Lindo for our guided tour at The Blue Hole. And a huge thank you to Doctor Fun Tours for our to and from experience!! We used Dr Fun for 2 excursions and I wish we’d found him earlier so we could’ve used him for all our day trips. He is reliable, knowledgeable and an excellent guide. I would trust him to take my young adult children on any excursions. Learnt so much about Jamaica from him and saw real Jamaica too. We went to the Blue Lagoon where the first movie was filmed and Rafting down the Rio Grande. Wow! What a great time. We also used Dr. FUN for our airport transfer. Both times they were friendly, informative and much cheaper than the bigger tour companies. We will not use anyone else. L. In Toronto

Dr. Fun tours was a great find. I'm glad I saw the reviews on tripadvisor. I booked through the tour website and received a quote that was half the price of the quote from the hotel excursions desk. I wasn't sure I was making the right choice but was very pleasantly surprised. Our driver ,Tevary, arrived on time and instantly helped us feel welcomed and excited for our day. He had a van large enough for 8-10 people, but took just the five of us from Falmouth to the Blue hole. On the way he gave us a history lesson about the island and the communities we passed through. When we arrived at the Blue Hole he knew the tour company to chose and made it easy to understand the process if signing in, taking the photo by the sign, getting life vests etc.he kept our towels and things locked in the van while we explored. He was ready for us when we finished. The experience at the falls was good, but afterwards we realized that it felt very rushed. Our guide had a group of about 15, and there were 4 or 5 other groups of the same size heading up or down the falls at the same time - seemingly from various tour companies. We were very grateful to have a guide as the current was strong enough to catch you off guard without that hand to hold. It would have been fun to repeat some of the jumps, swim in the pools, get a waterfall massage, and check for caves. We learned afterwards that our instinct to avoid the falls on days that ochos Rios had cruise ships was good,but we had overlooked excursions from the Falmouth port and accidentally ended up at the falls with all of them. If I could have a do-over I would choose a noon pick-up instead of 9am so that we'd avoid that rush and have more relaxed time to enjoy the beautiful river. Tevary took us to meet a local vendor, we weren't interested in his wares but enjoyed his singing jamaican happy songs long enough for a photo. We also stopped for lunch at Linda's restaurant and loved her authentic recipes (curried goat, oxtail and fried fish ). The last stop on our tour was a shopping center/souvenirs, something we hadn't planned for $ , so it was a very short stop over). We were back to Falmouth around 3. I would definitely recommend Dr Fun tours to a friend.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon in Jamaica and booked this wonderful tour. It was unforgettable and the highlight of our trip to Jamaica. Together with Tevary, we did not only explore the Blue Mountains area, but also a part of the island thanks to our car journey. Whatever we wanted to see, Tevary always made an exclusive stop (for example at a traditional fruit stand for my wife to try a coconut). He told us a lot about the country, the history, the music and the traditions so that we could experience the day through his eyes. A wonderful guide and a great person - we are very happy and grateful to have experienced this. Delton was fantastic. Great communication days before we arrived in port and the day of our visit to make meeting up seamless. The tour started immediately with great information about Jamaica in the van ride to Blue Hole. Blue Hole itself was amazing! Delton hand picks a life guard for you and ours (Dario) could not have been better. Kept everyone safe and made sure we had a great time. We then spent more time touring the area and some shopping. A great experience and Delton is a great ambassador for Jamaica.

We had an amazing day with Delton from Dr. Fun tours. We were arriving in Falmouth on the Symphony of the Seas for a High School spring break trip with the 5 families.He picked us at the port as scheduled, as we drove to The Blue Hole he told us about all the Jamaica History and pointed out all the sites. We did the Blue Hole then took us to a beach bar near the port on the way back. Delton was professional, safe, educational. Highly Highly Recommended!! Thank you Delton!

We can never be bothered to write reviews when we travel, unless it's an absolute fantastic experience or a truly terrible one. This company (Dr. Fun Tours) is absolutely brilliant!! The kindest people (Dr. Fun himself and also Mr. Fun (was in training and joined our trip for practice, great guy!)) The communication worked perfectly, everything went very smoothly and on time and Dr. Fun knows everything worth knowing about local communities, history, current affairs, sights and everything in between and was happy to answer any and all of the questions we had. We got to see so much more than just the main attractions and the tour guides taught us so many interesting facts about life in Jamaica and the culture. We didn't drive the fastest way along the toll road, but rather up in the mountains and through small villages where we got to see how the locals live and go about their life. Of course we also went to the Bob Marley museum, Emancipation Park and all the other "main sights", but to be honest they were boring in comparison to the interesting guiding we got from Dr. Fun. These are super kind and hospital people who go out of their way to make your trip special. Unfortunately this was the only tour we had booked with Dr. Fun and made some other tours with other, bigger companies and were truly disappointed when we realised how much better Dr. Fun would have made the tours. If we were to do it all again, we would book every single tour with him. We also hired him for taxi and transfer services, and even when the job was just driving us from place A to B, he constantly told us where we were, the history of the places we passed and told us trivia about Jamaican culture and history. We are truly happy with the experiences and services provided by Dr. Fun Tours, and recommend them warmly to everyone visiting Jamaica!

Enjoyed jumping into many pools. Guides were very cautious and caring. Wish we had pictures of our experience though.

The tour was amazing and Dr. fun was incredible! He taught us all about Jamaican culture, and we haven’t stopped singing his silly song! Blue hole was definitely a very awesome experience. Prepare to explore the waterfalls and jump plenty into the blue azure waters! Definitely recommend!
