- johnhE6713WQ0 contributionsBrilliant tripA fabulous day. Steven pulled out all the stops and devoted his time to what we wanted to see and do. On top of that he threw in some treats of his own to completely make it a day to remember. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Brilliant day worth every penny.Written October 2, 2024
- TrailBlazer5365810 contributionsBob Marley Museum tour in KingstonWhere do I start...Steven Blake is an absolute GOD SEND! I traveled with my elderly mom, who was quite nervous about exploring Jamaica outside of the resort. Well, not only did Steven put her fears and worries at ease, he also managed to turn her into an official Bob Marley fan lol. He was so patient, knowledgeable, kind, down to earth and welcoming. Steven truly loves his country and is so proud to show off the island where he was born an raised. He knows the history of the Jamaica like the back of his hand, and can answer ANY question or misconception, that you have about the island. This tour is not just a trip to the Bob Marley museum, but a real authentic Jamaican day trip to Kingston. From stopping to get ice cream, to taking a stroll through Emancipation Park, checking out uptown and downtown Kingston, and chilling by the Kingston waterfront, I was almost convinced that I wanted to move to Kingston, Jamaica lol. There was just sssoooo much to do. I highly recommend booking this tour not just for Bob Marley fans, but for anyone looking to see what the Capital of Jamaica has to offer. Which is A LOT lol. Good vibes, good people, good food, the BEST music, and overall, an AMAZING tour guide. Big Up Steven!! Thanks so much for your hospitality and being a good human being. You represent Jamaica well!Written June 3, 2024
- Anamor820 contributionsHighlights of Kingston in a day!I had an amazing time with Marie in Kingston! We took a stroll through Downtown Kingston and took some pictures at the murals, spend some time at the national gallery of Jamaica which was wonderful! Next, we went to the Bob Marley museum, and our last stop at Devon House for a bite and delicious ice cream! Marie is a wonderful guide, easy-going and fun to spend a day in Kingston with! Thanks again for a great day!Written May 10, 2024

- 24lja0 contributionsawesomeWe've had a wonderful day with Steven in Kingston. He took lots of fotos from us, tried to fullfill all our wishes, was funny and had interesting stuff to tell about Jamaica and the Jamaicans. He was always in time, is an excellent driver (Wifi on bus!) and had very nice surprises for us like Rumpunch and "slices of Hallelujah". If we ever go back to Jamaica- Steven is the man we would book every tour with.Written March 3, 2024
- Amy W0 contributionsAmazing experienceFrom start to finish it was the best experience I’ve ever had. If your a bob Marley fan, this trip is highly recommend! We had a great tour guide, Steven Blake, who made the trip even better. He made us rum punch, brought us Jamaican deserts, took pictures and sent it to us for free. He told us so much information about Jamaica! Definitely recommend this trip!Written February 25, 2024
- charles63460 contributionsOutstanding TourThis tour was one of the best experiences in my life. Steven is a great tour guide/driver. He was able to share his love of Jamaica and Jamaican Culture including the remarkable life of Bob Marley. Steven's van was very comfortable. The roads were good but there is a lot of traffic in the cities. It took 3 hours to reach the house. We had 30 minutes to explore the grounds. Steven took many pictures of us. He sent the pictures to us a few days after the tour. The foundation provided the guide for inside the house tour. This guide was very good. He had the group singing Bob Marley's songs. The house has only furniture in the Bob's bedroom. Photos are not permitted inside the house. There is a movie after the inside tour. The gift shop is very good with high quality t-shirts and other merchandise. We went to lunch at the Devon House. We could have gone to a restaurant for Jerk Chicken. We opted for the curried goat patties at the Devon House take out. They were hot, spicy and delicious. We then had ice cream. I had the unusual Devon Stout ice cream. We went on to see more of Kingston including the waterfront development and passing by Trench Town. I felt safe 100% of the time on this tour. I'm sure that Kingston like any large city has some areas which are marginal. We did not see any of those areas. On the way back to MTB, Steven played Bob Marley songs adding context to the songs. Bob Marley's songs were often tied to politics of the time. The tour is well worth the cost I will remember this day with a smile for the rest of my life.Written November 10, 2023
- coreyd3070 contributionsIncredible experience. Highly recommend. One of the absolute best experiences of my life. Please do yourself a favor and take this tour. To be inside one of the former homes and recording studios of Bob Marley was truly unreal. Our guide, Stephen was great. He is very knowledgable on the country and gave us an education on many things Jamaica throughout the day. And most importantly, took us to several different foods stops where we ate things like beef or curry goat patties, bread pudding, jackfruit, coconut milk right from the coconut, and ice cream... omg I'm going back...Written October 27, 2023
- Lolowo90 contributionsVisit to KingstonThis was supposed to be an all day tour. We were picked up midday and it was dark before we got to many of the sites. The drive to Kingston was almost 3 hours. The tour guide also made some errand runs on our time. He drove to an office site to get some equipment for his other tour bus, also making a detour to pick up his daughter. He kept us in the bus for almost 30 minutes while loading his tour bus. The area was a bit isolated He was overall nice but did not value our time, which was unfortunate and left us with bad feelingsWritten September 29, 2023
- Yvette W0 contributionsGreat Excursion with Steven BlakeThe BEST excursion ever. Steven is very knowledgeable about Jamaica. I learned soo much on the way to ATV ride. He is very pleasant and answered all of our questions. We ran into traffic causing us to arrive late. Steven extended the time of the trip allowing us to enjoy the full experience. He is also a great photographer. You should definitely schedule an excursion with Steven Blake because he is the best.Written June 22, 2023

- Brazil790 contributionsDon't wast your money and your timeWell lets start the museum is run dow is no much there to see. When I get there is people outside trying to sell weed no matter what . Getting inside my friend and I felt so unsafe. Was like 8 guys just there siding and smoking very scketchy we still stay to see .They offer a shot and pretty much tell you you have to by the hot glass for 10 dollars. (so you gave the guy 20 dollars). Going inside they talk about a little about the history and they say to wait to go inside so we have to listen to some music so they can ask for a tip again.( once again everyone smoking weed around you the was so bizarre) There isn't much to see and very weird environment I ever been. Note if your a travel woman and travel alone I wouldn't do this tour alone.( is far to get there and people drive like crazy )Written February 24, 2023
- Scenic315646345650 contributionsA lot of interesting places to see during one tour.Steven was an experienced guide and driver with a lot of knowledge about the island and the people. He also brought us to Spanish Town AND Port Royal as we asked him to do. The Bob Marley Museum is absolutely worth to visit. And Port Royal, the old sunken pirate city with Fort Charles a further highlight. The way back to our hotel was adventurous. Many ditches in the roads, hide away villages and our driver who managed all this with humor and enthousiam. The way back was longer but much more interesting. You get an intense Impression of the Jamaica areas which are not yet „visitorized“Written February 10, 2023
- realgreek0 contributionsGreat trip to Kingston and Marley’s houseOur trip to Kingston to Bob Marley’s house was first class, mostly because our driver, Stephen, was so knowledgeable about Marley and Jamaican landscape and history but also because he was such great company! Stephen picked us up from our hotel on time then drove us the two hours across the island. He’s better than any official guide and I would recommend him highly. We stopped off for a chicken pattie (delicious!) en route to Marley’s house and when we got there were shown around the house and gardens which are incredible. The house is now a museum and a holy shrine for all Marley fans and included the the singer’s recording studios and his old Land Rover, complete with Rastafarian leather interior, customised for him by his daughter. Stephen also drove us to see Trench Town where it all began and also to the port area and the craft market which were fascinating. Altogether a wonderful and enlightening trip and very much recommended.Written February 7, 2023
- imogensdad0 contributionsAmazing Day outAmazing day out with Steven. We tailored our day to what we wanted to do. So we were picked up from Riu Reggae and then drove to Kingston on the toll road. We stopped for patties and coconut bread which Steven got for us. They were amazing. All the way to Kingston, he was telling us stories about the area etc. We then stopped at Bob Marley Museum which was amazing and then we went for lunch. We went to Sonia's Homestyle restaurant which served the most amazing curry goat. Then we went to TrenchTown Culture Yards which again was very interesting. From here we left Kingston and headed back via Spanish Town where stopped for some photos etc. On the journey back Steven again got us different bits of food to try. Hallelujah was amazing! Coconuts to drink and the jelly from them from a roadside shack. Then we stopped at Glistening Waters for the boat trip on the luminous lagoon. Can't think Steven enough for his kindness. He's very reliable, safe and trustworthy. Oh and very knowledgeable. It was a long day, but one we will never forget. 5 stars is not enough.Written December 9, 2022
