The Nexustour did not even bother to inform us. On the contrary, asked us to confirm the transfer to airport at 7:30 AM on 15.02. At the airport the Nexus agent named Mario told us that we will be hosted at Catalonia hotel even though we booked our vacation at a 5 star hotel Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway. When we arrived at the Catalonia hotel we were told that we should have check in at Riu Palace. The feeling we have is just that every one wants to get rid of us.Very frustrating. There are no Nexustour, WestJet or Sunwing at Catalonia , neither at Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway. Just stay away from Sunwing and WestJet and their partners Nexustour.Written February 15, 2025

Back in April 2024, my family and I booked with Nexus Tours for our transfer to and from Montego Bay Jamaica International Resort to/from our resort. Upon reserving, we were under impression that we would be in a shuttle, instead we were transported by large coach buses that stopped at every resort and even made a food stop. However, my review is the concern of their customer service and how my refund was never granted or considered when I addressed multiple customer service reps and resources for a high concerned matter. On our departure date, our transportation never showed for an 10:50am scheduled departure time for a flight at 1:51pm. Due to a failed and safe transfer from this company. My family and I had to pay cash out of pocket to pay a taxi to rush us to the airport after being delayed an hour by this company and presented with no assistance or refund. Instead I was held up for over a month going back in forth with emails, 2-minute phone calls and providing proof from my end as if I was in the wrong in any way for simply trying to get home. And still as of February 2025, received no compensation from this company. We simply let it go. And that is the problem. These companies receive so much money from us and do not take care of their clients and customers. We could have missed our flight if we did not think fast enough to call for a taxi in the timeframe that we did. The fact that we paid in advance to cover our transfer and it was not guaranteed was a breach of contract on the companies’ end and they still failed to consider my complaint. I will never use them again. Email proofs of pleading and repeating to multiple people even the report themselves about this matter and nothing for us came out of at the end but the grace of God for a safe trip home and having the ability to pay for a different form of transportation. My only hope for this review is that future matters are taken more serious for others.Written February 5, 2025

We waited about 30mins for a driver to show up. It wasn't horrible but shows they were very disorganized. On the last day of our trip we received a confirmation for our private transfer back to the airport. However, after waiting 30mins past our pickup time our driver was a no show. No one contacted us to even let us know they weren't coming to get us. I had to contact Nexus using their online app and someone confirmed they could not get ahold of anyone and told me to take a taxi so we don't miss our flight. I ended up paying another $50 USD for a ride to the airport on top of the prepaid private transfer fee. Now I'm left trying to get my money back from WestJet. Buyer beware when using this company. - 876katien0 contributionsAwful experienceWe were severely underwhelmed and did not get what was advertised. We booked believing we would get an adults only, snorkeling trip finishing at Rick's cafe, which on the surface was what happened. We were under the impression that we would have two snorkeling stops and be able to enjoy dinner at Rick's while watching the sunset. We were picked up at 1.15, unaware that the trip wouldn't start until 2.15. Our driver took us to one of his mates shops before dropping us at margaritaville we then waited there before being ushered unto the boat at 2, the boat started to leave at 2.40 but then returned to the beach for more people to get on. We didn't end up leaving until 3.15. When we did finally leave there was not enough space for everyone to have a seat as the boat had been taken over by a huge wedding party. We only got taken to one snorkeling spot then onto Rick's were we were told we had to be back on the boat by 5.45(it was 4.45 at this point) by the time we could get onto the transfer over it was 5.15 so we didn't get off as we knew we would not have enough time. The boat ran out of rum and mixers, not surprising that there were other guests who blacked out and could barely get off the boat. While docked up the crew were all smoking (after being told we weren't allowed any open flames). Over all very disappointed and definitely not worth the $170 we paid.Written January 19, 2025

The hospitality staff at the hotel directed me to a Nexus representative. She stated they opened at 8 AM. The representative did not arrive until 807, who then directed me to the bellman. The bellman stated to me that the 8 AM bus had already left. I was in the lobby the whole entire time, following the instructions I'd been given FROM THE STAFF. (PLEASE run the cameras at the front desk starting at 740 when I arrived at the front desk to check out). The bellman then turns it around on me and says that I should have been at the door, instead of waiting on a Nexus Representative - as I was told to do. They couldn't tell me when the next bus was coming and suggested that I arrange for a private transfer. With me being out of town, unfamiliar with airport wait times, I had to leave! I've been sitting in the airport with an hour to spare. I definitely could have taken the next bus. I will NEVER use this unprofessional company again!!!!!! - 306rehanas0 contributionsExceptional Service from Nexus Tours and Royalton NegrilI recently visited Jamaica, staying at the Royalton Negril, as part of an all-inclusive package booked through Sunwing with shared transportation. During the transfer, my kids were exhausted, so I decided to take a taxi directly to the resort. Unfortunately, in the rush, I accidentally left behind a small bag on the bus. I reached out to Stephen-French Natasha at the Royalton Negril excursions desk for assistance. Not only did she help me book our excursions, but she also went above and beyond to locate my lost bag. The bag contained doll clothes and accessories that are of significant sentimental value to my child, who has autism. I cannot express enough how much her help meant to us. This was my fifth trip with Sunwing, and I have always used Nexus Tours for my excursions. I’ve never had a complaint—they provide excellent pick-up and drop-off services, always with great professionalism. If you’re staying at Royalton Negril, I highly recommend visiting Natasha at the excursions desk for all your tour bookings. You won’t be disappointed! A heartfelt thank you to Natasha and the Nexus team for your outstanding service! The Montego Bay service had a nice greeting but the luggage transport is disorganized. My luggage was taken off the bus by someone else’s because your company does not have a system in place to protect travelers luggage. When I got to the Hyatt resort the driver handed me someone else’s luggage. Naturally, I was upset and told him that is not my bag. He said there was nothing he could do cause he has to get back to the airport. He left me with a strangers bag and told me to work it out inside the resort. The Hyatt Zilaria staff was diligent in locating my luggage and made the remainder of my trip happy, I strongly suggest Nexus Tours comes up with a system that protects travelers luggage like resort tags be placed on people’s bags before putting it under the bus or label the containers under the bus for each resort, but do something. No one should have to be without their luggage while trying to enjoy their vacation. So again thanks to the staff at the Hyatt for locating by luggage and to the Nexus Co. you must do better with securing travelers luggage, your current system allows anyone to walk away with your belongings.

Nexus was the worst airport transfer experience I’ve ever had. I booked a round trip airport pick up and drop off. I was in constant communication with the company to communicate a flight cancellation which changed my itinerary a day before my pick up in the airport. When I arrived to the airport they claimed to not have received my itinerary change until I showed the airport representative the WhatsApp conversation with the company and recipient for the already paid round trip transfer. The representative had to rebook my transfer on the spot because the company said I was a “no show” despite my 24hr notice of the itinerary change. The rebooking took over an hour after standing around. When it came time for the airport drop off, I messaged through WhatsApp to confirm the time a day prior again and the representative from the chat claimed to be looking for the reservation then never responded. After hours of no response, I messaged to follow up again to never get a response until four hours before my flight. I never got the airport drop off that I already paid for and the company has been unresponsive about any refund. DO NOT BOOK!

Unfortunately, Nexus Tours airport shuttle from Riu Montego Bay which is 10min away (transfer email confirmation had correct information) was unsatisfactory. No departure instructions were given. 11/26 departure, rep. Natasha said transfer wasn’t available & chat rep. Ana gave incorrect departure information. Both were unhelpful & did not provide apologies for Nexus errors. I will not use or recommend Nexus again.

My family and I booked Nexus to transport us from the airport to our resort (round trip). Upon arriving at Montego Bay Airport, we located our rep & were told we would be seated on a bus within 15 minutes. It took us over 30 just to be seated on a bus. We sat an additional 45 minutes in the parking lot waiting on other passengers just to get told to switch buses since we were sitting for a while. We finally made it to our resort about 4 hours after landing in Jamaica.
On the day Nexus was due to take us back to the airport, our rep was nowhere to be found and our transportation never showed up. When hotel staff called to verify our transportation, they were told that all busses were held at the airport due to flight delays (yes it was a ton of flights delayed during this day. However, our flight was not. When the staff informed Nexus that our flight was on time, they informed us there was nothing they could do. And they were not willing to pay to get us to the airport another way. We end up paying an additional $100 just to get to the airport by taxi.
I would not recommend using this company for transportation.

Terrible communication even after I sent itinerary, they still didn’t know my departure time until the day before when they asked for the info again. They day if the departure they were almost an hour late for the airport departure. I was told by the on site rep I should get a taxi at my expense and it would cost $120. She said I would have to do a claim to return my money.

I was disappointed to hear that you experienced problems with your departure transfer to the airport and that you received your transfer pick-up details the day before your flight. It appears that eventually you had to pay for a taxi to get to the airport.

First time vacationing in Jamaica. My husband and I had an amazing time. Thanks to Sandra from Nexus Tours, she took great care of us. Sandra was patience and was very attentive to our desire.
We were able to experince swimming with the Dophins, climb Dunns river , ride Atv , horse back riding (Chukka play 4 excursions) and much more. Can't wait to return!

We booked airport transfers to/from our resort. They were very courteous, bus and shuttle were clean and on time. We had a to make an adjustment to our return to airport and shout out to Courtney @Montego Bay, he was very accommodating and made sure everything was taken care of.
