We booked a trip to Floyd’s Pelican Bar & were blessed to get Patrick Vasser as our driver & guide. Patrick navigated the busy narrow roads expertly, never getting flustered with the multitude of questions asked regarding the passing scenery. He even took the time to ask if we needed a “pit stop” & as a group of 4 woman, this was a welcome break!! You could certainly tell he had done this many times before. But, his thoughtfulness did not end there. He continued to show us and tell us exactly what to do & waited while we were off on our excursion! It was definitely a comfort knowing he was waiting for our return. He took us to an area where could rinse our feet and use a restroom before our trek back to our resort. Our journey back was equally pleasant, again entertaining our multitude of questions. Patrick was professional, considerate, knowledgeable, kind, friendly, & honest. All these attributes are so important when you are in an unfamiliar area. Trust is really hard to earn but we felt that immediately with Patrick! Right from the beginning he told us the journey to our destination might be a little crazy & chaotic but that he will take care of us…and he delivered! I recommend Patrick to anyone who is traveling to Jamaica & books through Viator! If you can…request him!!

You are in good hands with Patrick! We booked our tour online before arriving in Jamaica. Since it was not arranged by our hotel, they didn’t know details. Patrick eased our minds with a text 2 days before our tour day. His van was spotless and comfortable! He was kind and very professional, pointing out a few landmarks on our way to the other side of the island! The roads through the mountains were less than perfect, Patrick was very careful and cautious. He stayed with us the entire time and suggested a fabulous late lunch spot on the way home! I highly recommend Patrick as your guide for any Jamaican tour!!!

I called Patrick about a week before we went on a massive trip to Jamaica for a wedding and asked if he could squeeze us in for a tour of Black river, Appleton estates and the YS falls. Without hesitation, he obliged and set us up with a driver. We had a bus big enough for the 14 of us and off we went. Our driver was friendly and explained everything we wanted to know about Jamaica as he drove us to our destinations. We did the tours and he brought us back home after an entire day of be out and about. Never once did we feel unsafe and in fact, these guys are a great asset to Jamaica in that they dispel all the misconceptions but are truthful about life on the island...In fact, they were so great, I called Patrick again to book a run to Dinn’s Falls in Ocho Rios. This time he drove outlet smaller group of 6 to the falls himself. He too is very well versed in the history of the island and even stopped in several spots to show us great houses and where Colombus landed on Jamaica. After the falls he drove us to S orchids for some real jerked food and then back, safe and comfortably to the hotel. If you want to really see Jamaica in a safe manner without all the commercial BS of the bigger tour companies, call Patrick and book him all week. He’ll take care of you!

Patrick was the best tour guide a first time visitor to Jamaica could ask for. We visited the Appleton rum distillery, Pelican bay, the Black River and Las Vegas (a local seafood restaurant in the Black River area). According to our guide, the distillery has recently reopened (as of March 2018) and the distillery tour now takes about 45 minutes longer than it did before; now 90 minutes long. During the tour, you learn about their distillery process past and present while getting a taste of the product from each step through aging. Included in the tour is a rum tasting and a travel sized bottle of Appleton rum. Following the distillery tour, we headed over to the Black River for some sight seeing. We even got to see a couple of crocodiles. Later, we visited my favorite part of the tour, the Pelican Bar which is a hut built on top of a shallow water peer right off the beach. The views there were great and I got some nice photos of the sunset over the ocean there. Lastly we visited the sea food restaurant, Las Vegas. Overall, it was a fantastic tour. The attractions were gorgeous and our tour guide was patient, professional and insightful.

We took a private tour from Montego Bay to Negril. It was really easy to book online and our guide KJ was awesome. We stoped in a little town on the way and did a little shopping, KJ was cool about stopping wherever we wanted to. We went to Margaritaville, but it was raining the entire day so it wasn’t really that great, i bet if it wasn’t raining 7 mike beach would have been real great. We decided to maybe find a local spot, instead of going to Ricks Cafe, bc we were kinda over the touristy things and like I said, it was raining so they weren’t diving. KJ took us to this little bar named Sandra’s Bar, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Sandra was so hospitable and the ocean came right up to the back stoop. She let me hook up my phone to the speakers to play music. On the way home, we stopped at a little chicken shack just on the side of the road which was AMAZING. We felt completely safe the entire time and had sooooo much fun! Ask for KJ to be your tour guide.

We booked with Patrick to do a day tour to the south coast visiting the Black River safari and Pelican bar. He arrived bang on time at our hotel, offered us a cold beer or water and took us towards the Black River. Although quieter and more reserved than some drivers, Patrick was very knowledgeable about the history and culture in Jamaica and was happy to answer any questions we had. After arriving at our destination Patrick put no pressure on us to hurry and told us to take our time and enjoy ourselves, which we did of course. I would 100% recommend Patrick for any private tours as we always felt safe (unlike some other drivers) and it felt like a more personal experience than other tours we did. If I return to Jamaica I will be using Patrick's Services again for sure, thanks again!!

YS falls over Dunn's River everyday! From Montego Bay it's about a 2 hour drive, but so worth it!! Patrick our driver was excellent! So professional and knowledgeable, he made my friend and I who were traveling alone feel extremely safe. He also was kind enough to make a stop at a local grocery store for us on the way home! Of all the drivers we had during our visits, Patrick was the best! Thank you VIP tours for the excellent experience. Also note that they provide red stripe and waters for you on the private tours, what more could you ask for?!

My husband and I were in Montego Bay for a conference. We had found Patrick’s company online prior to our arrival and had set up airport transfers and tours with him in advance. Because of Patrick, we had an amazing trip! He was prompt in his arrival at the airport and had a nice, comfortable luxury van to transport us in. We decided to keep our days light and took a city tour one afternoon along with having a great lunch at the Far Out Fish Hut. Patrick truly gave us the local experience. Another day he took us to the hip strip along with another fantastic Jamaican meal at Scotchies. If you are going to Montego Bay, book with Patrick! You won’t regret it…
