Kingston is an interesting city to get a taste of. Our guide Courtney was friendly, knowledgeable, and we had a van and driver as well. You get a chance to see many facets of this place. The Bob Marley museum tour is entertaining and educational. You see the poverty, income inequality, history, culture and spirit of this city. The grittiness and real world vibe of this city is a real juxtaposition to the luxury beach resorts, which makes it interesting to see.

Everything was amazing! Courtney was great he picked us up from our hotel with the driver Marlon right on time. We enjoyed the rich history of University of West Indies, then went to National heroes pasrk, took a drive through downtown Kingston and the market, then the highlight Trench town! So much rich history Courtney is very knowledgeable about the history of Kingston and how it came to be. Our final stop was Devon house and we had some yummy ice cream. The tour was the highlight of our stay in Kingston and I would 100% recommend it. Thank you Courtney, Karen and Marlon. My sisters and I loved the tour. It was an awesome experience.

It was our first visit to Jamaica and we wanted to see more than the beach resorts. We try to visit the capital of the country early to better understand the culture and people. Kingston, however, can be somewhat daunting, especially for first-timers. We worked with Karen to put together a tour itinerary and transportation arrangements. It was very easy to work with Karen. She was always responsive and collaborative in putting together an itinerary that hit our highlights but also included things we likely would have missed without her input.
As to the tour itself - so much depends on the guide. We had Courtney as our tour guide and he was terrific - knowledgeable, efficient, personable. We learned that most Jamaicans are excellent singers and had our first lessons in patois. We had a lot of interesting conversations with Courtney (and the drivers) and were very satisfied with the two days.
I would gladly recommend Jamaica Cultural Enterprises to anyone looking for a personalized tour of Kingston or its surroundings.

My boyfriend and I went on a full-day Kingston city tour with Courtney as our guide and we highly recommend it! We visited the Bob Marley Museum, Devon House for lunch, the National Heroes Park, Water Lane, and Trench Town Culture Yard. Each stop was unique and Courtney was a very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun guide. Organizing the trip with Karen was very smooth and she even accommodated us on a specific day and with our specific interests. Everything ran on time and as planned. Highly recommend and would definitely love to do tours with JCE next time we’re in Jamaica! Thank you, Karen, and your excellent team!

I enjoyed this tour very much. We began at National Heroes Park and continued on to downtown/Water Lane and Rae Town. Karen was an excellent guide. The tour was informative, engaging and well-organized. It felt like a mini-course-- I learned a lot. I look forward to taking other tours with Jamaica Cultural Enterprises and highly recommend.

The guide was fun and had us laughing with antidotes about her time growing up in Kingston. Was great showing the family some of the places I knew as a child

I felt that I was blessed with Karen as our guide in Kingston. She was very engaging, knowledgeable, punctual, and considerate. She provided us with airport transfers as well as accommodated our "Mission Impossible" turned "Mission Possible-Because-Karen-Made-It-Happen" visits to the Bob Marley Museum and Peter Tosh Museum before closing times. She also suggested a great, chill, less touristy dinner spot that I loved since as I wanted an authentic experience as possible, which I def got)... We also toured UWI, the Nation Heroes Park and Trench Town.
Thank you Karen and will definitely be recommending you to all my folks!!!

A great tour that took us from University of the West Indies (UWI) to National Heroes Park then to Trench Town and lastly, Devon house. UWI was packed with history; we learnt so much in that 30 min tour about the history of Jamaica a little of it that seems to be left all over the University’s campus. We made a quick stop at the Beverly Hills of Jamaica to get a scenic view ofKingston and then went to the National Heroes Park. I enjoyed not only learning about the National Heroes but seeing the guards do their ceremonial activities. We went to Trench Town to do a quick tour of the first government community dwellings; the highlight was of course seeing Bob Marley’s room and to see from such little greatness was made. Last stop was Devon House we learnt a bit about the first black millionaire in Jamaica and ended with some ice cream. The tour was extremely comfortable, brimming with knowledge and plenty of laughs. All admission fee and even an ice cream is included! Thank you Karen for a great experience.

Hello, we are arriving at Kingston airport early in the morning November 14/18 and need to wait for my parents to land in the evening before travelling together to Ocho Rios. We want to be able to see the capital and wondered whether we would be able to be picked up from the airport, do the tour, then be taken back to the airport? Thank you for your help in this matter.
