Not worth your time and money! As you can read in the other reviews, many are complaining about the amount of time spent getting to the island and back. The tour operator should have this DISCLOSED in the TRIP INFO. We were picked up at 7am, hoping it will only be an hour/hour an a half, until we are on the boat. But no, the bus driver had to go around our own neighborhood resort to pick up other passengers which took 2 whole hours and then another 2 hours to get to the boat and whole another hour to get to the island. We were picked up at 7am, and we made it to the island at 12:15pm -noon time. We only had 2hrs and maybe 20mins at the island which is not enough time to explore it a little, rest on the beach and swim in the water. We had to rush everything and those 2hrs seemed just like any other beach in Punta Cana you could have spent a whole day on. We got on a boat back at 2:30pm and it took until 8pm, until we were finally dropped off at our location in Punta Cana. The amount of time spent travelling to this location is ridiculous and not worth the 2hrs spent on the island. Save your money and time, and go to a resort or any other beach which is literally just as nice, maybe even better looking. We were also picked up first at 7am, and dropped among the last of the passengers at 8pm. The tour operator should have people meet up at one single location to save time for everyone. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR TOUR.

Excellent trip. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke many languages, gave excellent recommendations, and safe for family travel. Free lunch was great.

We had a great experience with this activity provider. People were really nice and on time. We expected just to ride the speedboat but there was some other activities as well which was exciting. They took us to some place to snorkel and then we went to a quiet beach to relax and later to a natural pool. The guy who assisted us was really patient and nice

Only positive was our initial driver on polite and on time for pickup. After that it went down hill. we had to wait for nearly 2 hours to get onto a speed boat in boiling hot sun. When finally at Saona Island lunch was late and served cold, not good. Be prepared for unsafe conditions when transferring from speed boat to catamaran in the middle of rough sea. If you like loud music this tour is for you.

It’s always wonderful to go back to Saona, the staff is amazing, so loving and they know how to make the party.

Beautiful lots of rocks in water & hot sand but besides that it was a nice trip. Fun music drinks food wasn’t that good but hey

Snorkeling was so much fun, natural pool was beautiful, doing donuts on the speedboat was really fun and our guide was amazing. Highly recommend.

Good for the price point- we paid far less by just booking online than other people paid via their reps (we paid 57 usd each) so worth haggling if needed or booking direct. The excursion itself is wonderful and the pool/ island are spectacular. We also saw some star fish but we suspect the heavy tourist presence has depleted their numbers (of course we were a part of this problem). The food was also delicious, especially given the location. There were however a few downsides which may be mitigated by more expensive/ smaller tours. The transfer was prompt, however they take you to a tourist trap ‘service station’ en route where there are no prices for anything and it was absolute chaos. There is also a lot of waiting around in the sun for the boat, where again you are hassled to buy phone cases etc. There are also photographers who make it appear almost mandatory to have a photo ‘to know how many people there are’. This is of course not needed. The photography is offered throughout the excursion, however they do respect a clear no. The photos are then sold at a high markup, and we witnessed really pushy selling towards one couple in particular who must have parted with a lot of money. The staff also pressured me to buy a bandana, and there was reasonably heavy guilt tripping about my declining. This actually made me not leave a tip when I had been planning to do so! I understand that tipping is widely expected here, but the hard push for it is off putting and probably has the opposite affect. All in all we had an amazing day, and I would recommend it, but be mindful of all the extra attempts to part you from your wallet.

The scuba do experience was so fun. The crew was friendly and made me feel secure the entire time. My only suggestion is to maybe have some music on the boat to give some entertainment while you wait for your turn to do the scuba doo, with a large party and a longer wait time it got kind of boring just sitting on the boat wit nothing else to do.

Not what expected , no meet what’s promise.. we where supposed to leave by 9:30 and we left by 10:30am , felt like 1h stolen time.. then only drink on board was Rom and soda” no beers “ the natural pool was 30min only, the guide said is illegal to stay extra.. so I went down to talk to others catamaran’s customers and they confirm being there for over 45 minutes.. we arrived to the island right at 12:45pm and they didn’t serve beer till lunch time”1:00pm” talking about lunch time it was an extreme long line, I was one of the last and all I get to east was white rice and tomatoes, when I started to claim as loud 20 minutes after some lady show up with a little fish and a couple of pieces of chicken… and for a great closure all I get from bar was one round of beer… I’m not coming back to this tour ever, waist of money, waist of time.. I got other’s excursions guys number so my next experience won’t be so bad

Everything worked as advertised, it was very well organized and the guides and drivers were friendly. The bus picked us up and dropped us off at our gate, despite its not being on the list, and they were very helpful afterwards, too, when i stupidly left my phone on the bus. All in all a great deal for what ended up being a 12 hour experience door to door. Recommended!

We took the full day tour to Santo Domingo and it was quite the experience. It was a total of 13 hours which included picking up others from their hotels, reaching the meeting point to get on a bigger vehicle, 3 ojos park, buffet, monuments, shopping, and the 2 hour drives each way. We knew it would be a long day so we had breakfast before leaving and I strongly encourage anyone taking this tour to do the same. Be sure to bring snacks as well for the road. The ride was comfortable with air conditioning, but it was definitely long so be prepared. The 3 ojos Park was beautiful and seeing Santo Domingo and the way of life was very impactful. We learned so much history. My husband and I love history so this was the main reason for booking this tour. The buffet was delicious and much appreciated. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Most definitely coming back and I can't wait scuba doo was too much fun being under water you won't be disappointed I can assure you of that Great Experience

Very friendly service team, a full day fun you must have if you visit Punta Cana. Buffet lunch with ice water or soft drinks is great.
