  • Customize the itinerary to your preferences
  • Round-trip transport from your hotel in Punta Cana included
  • Ideal for all experience levels—including beginners
What to Expect
Your tour starts with early pickup from your hotel in Punta Cana. Board a 42-foot (13-meter) yacht for your half-day personalized fishing charter. Your captain takes you to some of Punta Cana’s best spots for deep-sea sport fishing. Depending on the season, troll for trophy size migratory fish species such as tuna, blue marlin, barracuda, sailfish, mahi mahi, wahoo, king mackerel, and more. In between catches, snorkel around the underwater reefs, visit secluded beaches, and sightsee from the yacht’s deck. Your crew can suggest stops and adapt the itinerary to fit the needs of your group, so kids can enjoy this activity too. Have lunch on the boat, and then cruise back to the marina and end your tour with hotel drop-off in Punta Cana.

April 30th 2019..The boat's OK but very dated. No equipment to increase the odd's of catching a fish. When asked the response was " the ocean is full of fish". A very expensive $1,000 CAD boat ride if you do not catch anything. Service to and from resort and on the boat was fine

Response from Yustas F, Owner at Punta Cana Private Fishing Charter
Responded May 28, 2019
Hello, and thank you for your review. It is a pity you didn't enjoy your charter. We have many happy clients but we are always upset and worried when people are not happy with us. Your reviews help us get better. Yes, the boat is not new but it functions very well. I am uncertain that any new boats are being leased for fishing charters at price about $700US. This was the price we offered and you accepted. Guys, $700US for up to 8 people is not expensive! This is usual worldwide price. We are well aware of pricing policy because we are in this business. You didn't catch anything...sorry guys, but this is fishing. And fishing, especially Big Game Fishing is like gambling. I don't think you blame casino every time you don't win. About equipment - we use large Daisy Chain Squid teasers and outriggers to expand the area of trolling. We use 7"-11" inch Williamson lures and Squidnation Chuggers for mahi mahi and cones 12"-16" for billfish. If you know something better for increasing the odds of catching fish please do tell me! We are not beginners in big game fishing. We read articles and we have our own experience. We constantly develop and educate ourselves to stay in the stream. The "fish is in the ocean" is absolutely the right answer if you have been asking the first mate and the captain "where is fish" every 5 minutes. They want to catch fish even more than you do. They receive very good bonuses in cash $$ -$$$ for every fish from our company. And this works as a great stimulus, trust me. About snorkeling: we offer two options - first is when a client books additional hour of snorkeling while booking a fishing trip. We do that certainly. The clients paid for it. Second option is when a client asks us to stop for reef snorkeling. Place for snorkeling is located on our route so it takes no extra effort to stop there. But we need to know about this in advance, not at the very end while we are already parking in marina. And yes, you can not snorkel in marina for safety reasons. About laying on the deck. You can lay on the back deck. The crew is working there checking reel and baits. But if you decide to lay down there nobody would tell you not to - you are the guest of our charter and we want to make you feel at home. You can not lay on the vessel's bow while boat is moving for safety reasons. We do offshore fishing and we strictly follow on board safety rules. I didn't quite understand about "drinks afterwards"...where? in the van on the way to the resort or do you mean a stop somewhere for the drinks? Unfortunately I can not answer that because I don't understand your last comment. Once again, I would like to say that we are sorry you didn't have fun as you expected. We hope all your future fishing trips will be successful. As well as every fisherman wishes his every return will be with the catch

Our group of 4 guys booked the 6 hour private fishing charter on April 8th 2019. We were greeted on time at our resort by our First Mate Alex (sorry if I have the spelling wrong). The trip to the Marina was short and the information Alex shared with us was excellent. Once we

We had a great day out with Alex on the Fortuna. The drive from our hotel was about 20 minutes or so. The seas were a bit choppy on the way out, but whe we got out farther it calmed down and the waters on the way in were also calmer. Caught a barracuda and a large sailfish. The
