    Dishonest thiefs
Recently I booked a fishing trip with waybus. Biggest mistake I ever did. Fishing trip got canceled half away to deep see due to rough water conditions. When we came back I tried to contact waybus for refund, they completely ignored my request. Julio the representative, who took my money no problem, never even gave me the actual fishing company's name and contact, so I can contact them for refund. Waybus is like an organized criminals. Thiefs! Stay away from them, your holiday will be more enjoyable!! Don't book anything with them but transfers.

Ok for airport. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING ELSE
Airport transfer was fine but DO NOT book any excursions with this company. We requested a private tour. We picked up another person during our transport to the excursion. We’re on a group excursion and had the same person on our transport back. Darwinson told me he misunderstood and only booked us a private transport to a group excursion. We did not even receive a private transport that we were charged for! I requested an invoice twice before the excursion to make sure there was no confusion but he never sent it. He has also never explained why we paid for the private transportation but had another passenger with us. Very disappointed

Take the ride, leave the rest! Horrible excursions!
Negative review about the excursions, not the airport transport! We booked private transport from and to the airport. That part was fine. The drivers were on time and got us to where we needed to go. From before the trip even began however, my driver contact with this company began spamming me through WhatsApp with 30+ pictures and videos for excursions. While in the DR, the contact would message me multiple times a day, spamming more info about these excursions. Finally we booked one, as we wanted to see more of the island than just the inside of our resort complex. First off, the itinerary that I was sent was so completely misleading. A whole segment of our tour never happened at all. Here's how the day broke down, both good and bad: -7:00am, driver texted to say they can't get into our hotel to pick us up, we walk out to a different resort to meet the bus. (All inclusive places don't serve food this early so we had nothing to eat, assuming it would be provided as the tour advertised as including food and drinks.) - We spend THREE hours driving between other accommodations to pick up more people, pulling off the highway to be shuffled onto another bus packed with people, no English directions so if you don't know a little Spanish it would be VERY easy to end up on the wrong bus in the wrong place. They let hawkers into the bus to try to sell you things IN YOUR SEAT. - Still no food or drink, we are brought to a "local market" and given 15 minutes to use the washroom and shop. The "market" is a windowless building with extremely overpriced souvenirs. Here we were able to get some chips and soda so we weren't starving. Over 70$ USD later I had two small bags of chips, a water, 4 postcards, and two tiny bottles of the local drink mamajuana. - We arrive at the dock and get shuffled around, having group photos taken and gotten onto the boat. We are constantly hounded by people hawking everything from cigars to shells that are illegal to cross back into Canada with. - The boat ride was fine, very LONG. They have a case of pastries so everyone thinks we'll finally get something to eat. Instead dancers come around and start offering rum and coke or 7up. That's it. No bottles of water, nothing else, just rum and sugary soda. - The dancing is fun and the boating is nice. We arrive at a spot for the "snorkeling" that was advertised in the tour. They give you a half hour to swim in chest deep water over plain sand. You can snorkel, if you knew to bring your own gear, but there's nothing to see. - Finally I see people eating the pastries and go over to get one, it's after 10:30 and no food yet provided. They tell me $1USD per pastry... The food was supposed to be included but whatever, we are all starving so nearly everyone on board coughs up the cash. - "Paperazzi" on the boat take horribly posed high school prom looking photos throughout the trip, later on the beach they show them to you and when we told our photographer that we didn't like or want them she nearly shouted in our faces that they were beautiful and looked like she was going to cry. We agreed to buy them, mostly out of pity. She told us one price on the beach, transferred the photos to our phone and said we could pay later (we needed to pay by card). When we got to the dock she typed in a significantly higher price and charged us, leaving us in the awkward position of paying to try to keep up with the tour which was leaving. Because she had already given us the ugly pictures and she didn't have a lot of English we needed to just pay and rush off. This felt like the BIGGEST intentional scam of the entire trip. It ruined my whole impression of the (already pretty bad) excursion and soured me completely on this company and anyone else approaching me with wares. - The entertainers on the boat came around and tried to tie bandanas onto our heads and then charge us 5$ USD for each. No thanks. We did tip them for a good show though. - The beach! We were put onto smaller boats to get to the beach, people were complaining that they didn't want to get wet, which was silly, it's a boat tour. That part was fine. - This Saona beach is supposed to be this beautiful relaxing place... It was covered in trash. Falling down decks and buildings. Bathroom sinks without functioning water to wash your hands. - We were instructed to enjoy free time and relax by the water, sun chairs were provided which was nice. No towels. - Every 20 seconds a hawker was trying to hound us to buy things. Massage, necklace, coconut water, rum, cigars. You couldn't possibly relax because people were CONSTANTLY yelling and screaming at you across the beach to buy things. The massage people would touch you without consent if you didn't basically tell them sternly NO at a distance. - The "buffet" was essentially some spaghetti, exceedingly overcooked chicken, some kind of beef, tomatoes and cucumbers, beans and rice, pineapple and watermelon. There wasn't enough food for everyone to have some of everything. By the time I got up the line there was nearly nothing left. They were hawking fish and lobster cooked to the side but I didn't bother going to look because by this point it was apparent they were going to charge even more money to actually get some food. - The "drinks included" as advertised, again was only rum and coke or 7up. They had a sports cooler of water but no indication if it was bottled water or even safe to drink. I'd seen others filling cups from an open top bin of rain water on the beach... So I wasn't eager to drink from this. Plus there was spots of what looked like black mould on the spigot. - We sat around at this point "relaxing" on the beach, after being bullied into accepting ugly photos, and now doing our best to get the hawkers on the beach to leave us alone until it was time to go. - The itinerary said we were then to be brought swimming at some natural pools, photos showed starfish and whales and a nice dock with a place to swim... We were put onto a speed boat and brought directly back to the dock. - Crammed back onto the bus (after they found the driver who had disappeared and we had spent more time shuffling around a parking lot being pestered by more hawkers (who at least had bottles of water that we could buy). - On the bus they passed back bottles of Mamajuana mix (without any alcohol in them) that they had printed our photos and stuck onto them. Then told us that they were $20USD each. No one wanted them at this point, I think everyone was very fed up with the whole thing. After collecting them back, they started saying someone had kept one without paying and held us up until they recounted the bottles. - The ride back was very sombre, I didn't hear anyone on the bus say anything positive. - Another side of the highway transfer into vans that were crammed full. Then back to our hotel, along the way my driver tried to leave me at the wrong resort. TLDR: awful experience except for about 20 minutes of swimming and a bit of dancing. Oh and the photos ended up being charged to us at very nearly the entire cost of the whole excursion. So we spent double the initial price when factoring in having to buy food which was to be provided and getting scammed for the pictures.

    Good transfers, terrible excursions !
I booked a private airport transfer through the Tui app. This ended up being with Way Bus which we then used to book our excursions. So this company is in some way affiliated with Tui right? Tui need to have a rethink about offering Way Bus services to their customers after our excursion experiences in September 2022. The transfers to/from the airport were fine, both on time but the drivers didn’t speak English. Please read my reviews of Saona Island and the buggy tour before booking with Way Bus !

    Nightmare excursion !
WayBus Buggy excursion – 30/09/2022 We weren’t picked up with everyone else, we were on our own in some random guys van before being dropped off at another vehicle at a nearby hotel. Once we’d joined the group we squished up to get everyone on. How they do pickups/drop offs is worrying especially for people like us who do not speak Spanish, you could end up anywhere. Once you leave your resort you need to keep your wits about you. The buggys weren’t in the best condition. I had driven forwards a few metres in the buggy and was told to swap seats with boyfriend. He had to drive instead. Even now looking back I’m convinced that was a woman thing. We had small Spanish speaking, local CHILDREN running at the side of us on the buggies, coming out as we turned corners… It’s a wonder they weren’t run over!! I did shout for them to move but they didn’t. This is an accident waiting to happen. Afterwards I was told they were asking for water. Weeks after my holiday, I’m still left worrying about these kids. When I spend my hard-earned money to book a tui holiday and book excursions with a company they associate with, I don’t expect to be surrounded by begging children as insensitive as that may seem. Whilst on the buggies we passed a horse riding excursion tour. I understand these horses must be calm and safe enough for tourists but again, why are passing them on the buggies? It’s another accident waiting to happen. The most shocking part was the foal wondering around loose unaccompanied. Glad we didn’t hit it !! My boyfriend was driving the buggy with a GoPro camera attached to his baseball cap. When we were about to pass a photographer, he took his hat off and put it down. We hadn’t noticed there was no floor on the buggy behind our feet… oops. Completely our fault for dropping it and I understand taking gadgets is a risk. However, one of the guides gave us the hat back himself but no GoPro which should have still been clipped to it. The main man running the tour took my boyfriend back to the puddle to help search for it but it wasn’t that deep, it should been easy to spot but it wasn’t found. My boyfriend even offered the staff $200 to anyone who found it but still no joy. We have since locked the device so they won’t be able to use it and reported it stolen with GoPro. Shocking that no one was honest enough to hand it in. The nightmare excursion didn’t end there. Whilst my boyfriend looked for the GoPro I carried on with the rest of the group to the beach on foot. I got menus pushed in my face, asked to look at stalls, jewellery, asked for photos, all sorts. I was quite clearly uneasy, sitting on my own waiting for my boyfriend. Sadly, he hurt himself on the search and came back with a nasty cut on his hand and arm with blood down his leg. Do these tours not have first aid kits? Is this not a basic requirement? It gets worse! He’s stood there bleeding, and locals started throwing a parrot, monkey and iguana on him for photos asking for money. We’d said no but outside of the resorts they don’t take no for an answer. In the end we agreed on a price to get them to leave us alone but they then changed their minds afterwards, so we got fleeced for even more money. Where was the tour guide?? Why wasn’t he there to look after the group and shield us from these situations? Even after speaking to these sellers/photographers about the missing GoPro from earlier and his wounds, we still got pestered to buy jewellery etc. I know I must have looked on the verge of tears because I was. The jewellery guy was unrelenting and it was kinda scary ! I think completely spoilt the excursion and my view on the DR as a whole. How unbelievably rude and insensitive to keep trying to flog jewellery to a bleeding man and his upset partner. We also stopped off at a chocolate/coffee tasting place and quite a grotty cave for a swim stop. Locals surrounded us at the entrance to the cave, desperate to pester us. Why are these extra visits not optional? We had no interest in any of it. These guides are not fluent in English and aren’t present enough of the time. We were exposed to far greater risk than we signed up for. Way Bus – Tourists need to feel safe with their tour providers and in that you failed miserably. Given everything I’ve had to say about our experience, I think you need to rethink the buggy company you use and how pickups/drops are handled as well as ensuring first aid and multi-lingual guides are available. These buggy tours should not be close to children on foot or horse riding tours.

    DON'T USE THIS CAR SERVICE
Terrible experience. After confirmed a day prior, by email. We arrived at the at 3pm and wait for 2 hours. After several messages and phone calls, a car showed up, a dirty and old taxi. Nothing like the pictures. A day after call us again, offering tour around DR. Never an apology or better a discount for the Terrible service.

    Eury Guerrero was very unprofessional
My friend and I booked our tours with an agent my friend recommended to me (Eury Guerrero) who works with this company . He said we would get return airport transfers (I have Whatsapp messages evidence) with the company since we booked all our tours through him. Eury left us stranded at the Grand Bavaro Princess and nearly made us miss our flight. He stopped responding to his messages and was declining calls. And the only reason that can be found for this unprofessional behavior of his is my refusal of his offer to go dancing with him and pay for the drinks since he was providing transportation. Luckily, the concierge at the resort helped us book a taxi to the airport and we had to pay for a service Eury had promised to provide. I absolutely do not recommend Eury (WB P.C. Tour and Travel). I would be providing this feedback to anyone I know visiting Punta Cana.

Highly recommend! Traveled to Punta Cana and La Romana at the end of Nov 2020. Ordered pick up at the airport, transfer to a hotel. Transfer to another hotel and back to airport. Every time there was a different car and driver but all showed up on time (even a bit earlier), had a sign with my name, knew where to go and didn’t stick around expecting tips. All drivers were dressed professionally and were very respectful and considerate.
The cars were clean and with a/c.
Great service!!

I was hesitant to reserve a shuttle that was not hotel approved. However, round trip transportation was excellent and quick!! If you are in Punta Cana airport for the first time (like me), the sign and shuttle is after you get your bags and outside the terminal.
You check in at the desk and they will call a van to pick you up.
I texted Yonthan when I wanted to be picked up at the hotel and the driver was even early!!! I was worried about the hotel pick up because the Hilton was in the middle of no where!!! I would not hesitate to use them again.
