To say that reserving Rigo for the day to be our private tour guide and transportation was the best decision ever would be an understatement! He was professional, patient and extremely kind getting us around and helping us check all the things off our bucket list!!!! Our tour was great. We were met right inside the port by our driver. He was super friendly and on time. We spent time at the beach,cigar factory, chocolate factory, pink street, and umbrella street and a local lunch. Our time spent on the tour was well spent and we where not disappointed. 10/10 highly !!

Our port of Amber Cove was not interesting at all so we decided to visit Puerto Plata. Our driver was Augustine and he spoke pretty good English. For $130 US, our driver took us to many of the destinations of interest in Puerto Plata in a new van with AC. It was Independence Day in the DR, and traffic was heavy. He stayed with us the entire time. Ended up heading out to Playa Dorado for some Pina Colada. He got us back to the port in plenty of time. If I had it to do all over again, I might have spent less time at the beach and had Augustine take us to the Waterfalls of Damajagua.

Rigo and Leonel were excellent tour guides. We were a group of 8 looking for an "excursion" that would be designed for our group and less expensive than the cruise ship excursions. We saw the local attractions, the Rum factory and had a very delicious lunch at a beach side restaurant. And they returned us to the cruise ship on time, despite heavy traffic!

I heard about Rigo and his taxi services on a Facebook Group. I then read reviews which were fantastic I booked him right away. He was waiting for us when we got into port. He showed us so much in and around Peurto Plata. Included Run Factory, Pink Street Umbrella street where he did some amazing photos for us! Also visited the area from the richer areas to the poorer. Stopped for souvenirs and a great lunch by the ocean. The views during the whole tour were spectacular!!! Thank you Rigo

Our driver, Agustin, picked us up promptly at Amber Cove and took us to Damajagua for an unforgettable adventure. From zip lining to waterfall slides and cliff jumping, the experience was thrilling and well-organized. Agustin was waiting for us as soon as we finished, and we enjoy a delicious buffet-style Dominican lunch, which was the perfect way to refuel after all the excitement. Rigo Pop Dominican Travel was recommended by friends who visit the Dominican Republic often, and we’re so glad we listened! Best tour! Safe and personable, literally felt like family. Our guide took photos, brought us to all the must see spots and then some. Would recommend everyone to use this company and will be using them again in 2025.

We had a blast with our driver and made memories that our family will never forget. The prices were awesome and communication was exceptional. We rented a private tour of the D.R. and our driver, Tìo showed up in a really big luxury van that had seating for eleven people, great AC and WiFi. He took us all over the island, we saw beautiful views, went to a chocolate factory and played with a bunch of adorable squirrel monkeys. The whole team that we met made us feel at home and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will use them again the next time we go to the Dominican Republic!

Rigo was great! We had a nice time visiting shops in Pluerto Plata. We got A LOT of steps in! Wear your sneakers and pack your sunscreen!

I was completely impressed with everything about the ATV excursion!! The customer service was top notch and everyone was so personable and helpful. From the ship,the excursion and back to the ship- the tour was exciting,fun, and I was able to see parts of the area that I would not normally see. I would recommend this company and all their tours to anyone!! The price was so reasonable for all the adventures we had!! The vans were new and very comfortable!
