Johan was an amazing tour guide. We had the best time (2 families with 9 people). Way better than anything you can book through the cruise line.

Jhoan was outstanding ! He took care of us from the beginning to the end of the trip! Perfecto! Highly recommend! Kids and adults alike had a blast !

We’ve done a lot of ziplines in the Caribbean and this is a really fun one. There are 8 ziplines all fun (and safe). I particularly enjoyed the last few which are longer and higher. I highly recommend stopping by the garden afterwards to see and touch the wildlife. Highly recommend.

The experience was nice with the moneys and the tour guide was great. However, the owner and other associates lack integrity and a theft. I paid for my pictures and I never received them. The guy said I’ll get the pictures in a hour but I never got them. The price to see the monkey was $40. We turned it down because we didn’t have much cash on us. Then he dropped the price to $30. Then later, his worker took my $15 for pictures and never sent them. I wouldn’t advise this place because they have horrible customer service and bad for business.

Guided up to the zip wires on a steady hike. Zip wires were awesome. Five in total I believe. Great fun. Next came the waterfalls. Although I felt a little nervous I absolutely loved the adrenaline from jumping and being guided down. Such a brilliant experience. I believe you could hire water shoes for $8 but we brought our own. We needed to hire a locker ($8) but that fit 2 rucksacks in.

Johan and Joel were terrific during this excursion. Johan provided a great deal of information while Joel drove. This excursion was beyond words. The waterfall was beautiful from hiking to the top to sliding and jumping our way down the falls. After that we drove to the zip line for a terrific adventure through the trees and a fantastic lunch!!! We truly enjoyed this excursion and would highly recommend for everyone to enjoy. We had a great time at the Country World Adventure Park. We bought the tickets from Vacations to Go because the Sky Princess Ship Excursions were sold out months before the cruise.

The zip lines were fast and safe. The staff were very kind and helpful. Horseback was not just a walk nose to end, got a good few runs in! Johan the tour guide was pleasant, met us where we were told and provided an aircon bus and ice cold water. The food was also delicious.

Went with my husband and my 5 and 8 year old boys. Did the trip as a privately booked excursion off the NCL Encore. We had a fantastic time. They were so good with the boys. Both boys did all 8 zip lines and had a blast. I felt very comfortable with the attention to their safety. Also the lunch was fantastic. Fried chicken, plantains, rice and beans. Even my picky 8 year old enjoyed it.

Other than the walk outside the gates to find the bus, this was a fantastic excursion. Johan and Jose Luis got us to Country World fast and safe and all of the guides on location were very friendly. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting on a cruise or if you are in Puerta Plata for an extended stay.

We had a great time and Jhoan was a fantastic guide!! The waterfalls were beautiful. Sliding down and jumping off the falls was exciting. The ziplines were fun and lunch was delicious.

Jhoan was a wonderful guide. He made sure we were comfortable and safe. There were a great number of steps to climb and quite a bit of uphill walking between ziplines. We are both in our late seventies and had a lot of fun and returned safely.

The zip lining was really fun and easy to navigate. Felt very safe and they prepared you well esp for first timers. All the staff was exceptional and very welcoming, Jimmy gave us the royal treatment and a beautiful tour of the gardens as well. We didn’t stay for lunch but the kitchen looked great and the food smelled wonderful. Would definitely recommend to others.

This is a must do for your time in Puerto Plata. We booked this adventure through our cruise line, the Celebrity Eclipse. This is an 8 stage zipline, absolutely thrilling - love the highest/longest stage where at the very end, a man on horseback gallops up to you and grabs your ankle, pulling you the rest of the way! Be aware of your fitness level as there are a few graded walks between a few of the lines, so be prepared for some walking. Well organized, professional and super helpful staff. I would love to do this again, we've done several ziplines, in New Zealand, Alaska, but this was the most exciting! Highly recommend.

Do NOT recommend. We hiked for 45 minutes to reach the waterfall just to wait for another 2 hours to get into the freezing water. To be honest, we were crowded into the waterfall like animals. It was packed with people. The tour guides were bad. It was obvious that they just wanted money from all the tourists. There was no thought put into the experience.
