After picking you up from your hotel we head to the Waterfalls of Damajagua, one of the most breathtaking attractions on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. Nature has crafted here some awe-inspiring pools, etched out of limestone, with stalactites and stalagmites in a thousand colors. Hike about 30 minutes uphill, and start to make your way back down by swimming, jumping, and sliding through the refreshing, crystal-clear water.

          Perfect for Adventure Seekers!
The Zip and Splash Adventure was an unforgettable experience! We started with a peaceful horseback ride through the beautiful countryside, even getting to pick fresh fruit off the trees along the way. Next came the zip lining—an absolute thrill! If you’re afraid of heights, brace yourself, as some of the towers are quite tall, but the excitement is worth every step. After zip lining, we enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal, hands down the best food I had during my entire trip. The day ended with the challenging hike to the Damajagua Waterfalls. This hike is not for the faint of heart—it’s tough, but the reward at the top is incredible! Sliding down the natural rock slides and leaping into the crystal-clear pools was the perfect way to cap off an adventure-packed day. Highly recommend this for any adventure seeker!

          A must experience!
This place was amazing! So clean and the staff were so fun and welcoming. We did horse back riding, zip line and waterfalls. In between we had a home cooked lunch which was the best meal of the trip. Transportation was included, nice air conditioned van. As I said staff were so helpful friendly and fun. A trip must if in the area!

Amazing experience! I was a but scared of the horses but was able to let go of my fear and enjoy the ride. The entire experience is full of adventure and adrenaline. It is worth the price!

Slides, and jumps, and ziplines ~ oh my! Adventures await ..
We had an absolutely amazing time on this excursion! The whole team did a fantastic job and provided us with a safe & fun day. Our bus driver Luis & host JB were friendly & attentive the entire trip. The photographer "paparazzi" Alex did a phenomenonal job with all the photos & videos! The first part was the tour of the Falls with the different slides & jump spot ~ our guide Augusto was lively and funny, he did a great job! Next was the zipline & that crew, which were very efficient & friendly and made us feel safe on each of the lines. There were 4 as part of this trip and the day ended with a delicious lunch made by the locals there on the property. Fantastic day all around, would definitely recommend this excursion for anyone looking for an adventure filled day!

          Fun Experience
Very well organized tour. The country world resort is a nice place with friendly staff and guides. We were given a briefing on how to use the ATV, and then rode it along a riverbed, over rocks and other obstacles, and through a village to the beach and back. Made a couple stops along the way - these felt somewhat of a price grab due to the obviously inflated prices but you’re not obligated to buy anything. The guides who accompanied us were great! We felt safe and they were very friendly and helpful, taking photos and videos for free and even finding a coconut seller on the beach for me. Overall I’d definitely recommend this excursion for an inside look into the Dominican countryside, and a fun thrill with the ATV. Afterwards we were invited to ride the zip line into their saltwater pool and relax in the pool for a while. It was an enjoyable experience

Why do one, when you can do all?!
If you're an adrenaline junkie then this is for you! They provided everything as promised. Prompt pickup. Friendly guides. Good food. And a day full of fun activities. Our first stop was the Damajagua Waterfalls. Country World is not the operator, but the camera guy goes with your group. You are provided a helmet and life vest. Wear swim clothes and water shoes. It's a 45-minute walk to the water falls, but it goes by fast. Most the waterfalls were waterslides, but still fun. The second stop was Country World's base camp. Were you do the remaining activities (horseback, zip line, ATV) and eat lunch. The don't skimp on any! It's about 45-minutes each. By the end of the day, you will be so high on adrenaline, but ready for bed at the same time! Also, on the ATV drive, they take you to small local shop. So it's opportunity to get your souvenirs. My only complaint is the pictures are little more pricey than I remember, at $40 per person. So if you're a family it can add up fast. So bring your camera or just skip the pictures and enjoy the day!

          #1 atv tour ever!
We did ATV, horses, and zip line with lunch. it was nice to have a traditional lunch and the beans and rice do not disappoint. Yummy. Ideal shoes for the day is tennis shoes. The hikes for the zip lines are short but graveled. You go through a lot of water and mud on ATV and you can hold your feet up to keep from getting too wet but it’s very possible to get feet wet. In hind sight the ATV is amazing and the best we have ever done in our lives. we are all experienced riders. women ranging in age 33-67 and we had a blast and was able to get some fun spin outs and muding. If i had to pick one adventure it would by the ATV. Best thing we did our entire cruise. hands down. also lockers are available

Get it all done in one amazing stop
The entire experience was great. They were very organized, friendly, and a fun crew. You can tell everyone loved their job because they assured we experience it all safely but assured we had a fun time. We did the zipline, horseback riding, and ATV. I will definitely rerun in my next trip.

          The best day
Our trip to the Dominican was coming to an end and we felt like we hadn’t got to do all the things we wanted to do. So I threw caution to the wind and booked this for our last full day $$$ spent and fingers crossed. It was AMAZING. The waterfall jumping was really fun and actually super deep. My personal favorite was the atv. We drove all through the backwoods , rivers, town etc. Ziplining as well, it was the one thing absolutely on my son’s check list. We went back to the hotel absolutely exhausted but exhilarated as well because it really was more than I hoped for. Also at the first stop at the waterfall it only cost $45 for you to have someone follow you through taking all your pictures so you don’t have to worry about carrying your phone etc. Aside from the photographer the $45 covers ALL your pictures and videos they took they give you on a USB. All the employees and guides were so so nice . The authentic Dominican meal was delicious! Again I can’t rave enough. I been on plenty of excursions , Jamaica, Mexico etc and this was by far the best. #worthit #savedTheTrip - the photos added were taken by the guide , I didn’t even ask, again they were all so nice and very gracious hosts

          Extraordinary. Amazing experience.
If I could leave a 1000 out of 10 I will. We booked the Xdream Adventure, which consisted of the Damajagua waterfall, horseback riding, ATVs and zip line. From the moment we got picked up at our hotel to the moment we got dropped off we were well taken care of. The group of guys are beyond amazing, very welcoming and all happy which allows for a very fun adventure. They were very attentive and making sure we were okay. They are all hardworking men who, no matter the circumstances, do their job with a smile on their faces and most importantly always ensure we have a smile as well. If I could have individually thanked them all and let them know that their humbleness is what made this experience AMAZING I would. Also, the home cooked meal was one of the best I had during my stay in DR. I would definitely book again and most definitely bring others with me so they can enjoy it as well.

Lots of fun for a quick visit to DR
On an NCL cruise and booked this excursion independently. Pick up was where described based on communication/email which was great. Some confusion with driver getting our group together. He did make an extra stop to drop someone at ATV’s and another by a local store which ate up some of our time. Upon arrival it was well organized and we were soon on our way to begin the zip lines which were great! Loved how they progressed and enjoyed all of them even the tallest which scared us a little but was so worth it. The team does braking for you so you don’t have to worry. They also took photos which I did purchase in cash and we did negotiate the price. We were a little nervous about time as we had a 3:30pm all aboard, it was 30+ minutes from Tamino bay so after our zips we skipped the horses and simply relaxed with a drink from the bar, enjoyed the delicious lunch and then asked if we could be on a shuttle by 2pm. The staff was more than accommodating and we probably could have squeezed in the trail ride. We were back on board with 23 minutes to spare but it was good not to rush. It was our decision not to ride and no issue with the staff. I just had no interest in being a “pier runner”!

          Good Experience; Things to Know
We signed up for this adventure as part of our cruise. Overall, we had a great experience. The guides, photographers, and staff could not have been friendlier. Zero complaints!!! Here is what I would say that may help you to have a more enjoyable time. First, the shoes are not the best. We brought our own water shoes, and they were a train wreck. The ones offered by the park are not much better. If you have a tennis shoe version of a water shoe, wear it!!! If you have any back, neck, knee issues....I think I would avoid this. We all like to think it will not be a problem, but it will be. It indicated that lunch was provided....we were never offered that. It was a long day, and we were very hungry when it was all over. There were several groups moving along at the same time, so there were delays at the water falls and zip lines. Have fun!!

          Great Family Fun!
We had an excellent time with our 14 and 17 year old kids. They rode double with us on the ATV, and really enjoyed travelling through the countryside. The workers are all very nice and really do their best to make sure your safe and having a good time.

Would not do this again. SO crowded. Standing in line in the hot sun for hours in a helmet and life jacket to eventually freeze in the water doing a couple of waterfalls. Total chaos when we arrived. They gave us keys to a locker filled with someone else's stuff. Chaotic getting equipment. Food afterwards was crap. No place to easily change after. Not a fun experience.

Dear Christie L, We are very sorry to hear that your Waterfall Adventure was not as expected, but we don’t think that you’ve did this excursion through Country World Adventures (us). We have checked ALL bookings from March 2023, which is the month you’ve indicated that you did the tour, but we could not find ANY participant under the name Christie. Our Waterfall excursion does not include lunch either, which you said you had afterwards. Only our combined adventure includes a home-cooked Dominican meal, which by 99.99% of the customers is rated as excellent and is being served at our own ranch, not at the Waterfalls. It would be really frustrating receiving a 1-star review on one of our excursions, which you were not part of. Maybe you saw our tour on TripAdvisor and thought you were reviewing the Waterfalls themselves, which is not the case. If you’d like to review the 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua directly, you can do this by clicking on the following link here https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g147290-d627325-Reviews-27_Waterfalls_of_Damajagua-Puerto_Plata_Puerto_Plata_Province_Dominican_Republic.html We would appreciate it if you verified with which local tour operator you’ve visited the Waterfalls and considered deleting the review from our page and post it on the correct one. Sincerely, Daniel

Safe and enjoyable jump/swimming/sliding through waterfalls. 20 minute drive from main place to waterfall outpost, then 40 minute walk to waterfalls themselves. Very busy depending on the amount of cruise ships in port at that moment.

This was an amazing excursion, although I believe we only did 8-9 waterfalls? closed toe or watershoes required (thankfully we were all wearing) as no one told us this prior to the trip! also, you're going to get wet... so bring a waterproof camera., or don't bring anything... the guides will even offer to hold your glasses while you jump/slide. The fitness required for the climb... if you have anyone with mobility issues, there is significant climbing of stairs.. The experience was amazing!

What an absolutely fantastic experience. Our guide was incredible and hilarious. We had the opportunity to jump and slide down the falls multiple times. Hike was moderate strenuous to be honest mainly just the uphill aspect but they takes multiple breaks on the way up. Wish we could have done all 21 falls instead of just 7.

We took this trip as part of an excursion on the Carnival Sunshine and let me either warn or add a few points: make sure you have water shoes. Not sandals or flip flops but closed toe shoes, We did not read this in the description and ended up renting some water shoes. To be honest, they were probably more comfortable than the water shoes that I own and left at home. Secondly, you had better be in pretty fair condition. I am almost 60 years old and I consider myself in good shape but we had a few members of our party that were not, its a pretty good hike to the falls. Not to sound mean but because of the hike we had to wait on some members of our party, I feel that because of this, our guides may have had to rush us through at a faster pace then I would have liked. In other words, I wanted to spend more time.
OK, other than that, I had a blast. When you get to the falls, these are not the big beautiful falls that you would see on a scenic picture but instead a gentle flowing stream that flows over rocks that the water has worn smooth over the years. Who knows, in a million years, Puerto Rico could have its own grand canyon.
Our guides did an excellent job although I do feel they rushed us a bit. The hike through the woods was good. You will see some animals, a Puerto Rican buffalo (cow), a Puerto Rican Uber (mule) and various small animals. When you get to the falls, you have a choice of a 15 to 20 foot jump into the water or a ladder. I jumped, my wife took the ladder. She said the ladder was possibly scarier than the jump. After that, its just a nice cool wade through the water with a few water slides. I may have given this adventure a 5 but let me add, the smaller the group the better and not being mean again but the healthier the group the better. Still you will have fun.

Ours drivers were amazing. Very attentive and we didn't have to search for them, they were waiting for me and my sisters. I will warn you that the water at the falls is cold! Recommend a one piece bathing suit or tank top.

My kids and I enjoyed this adventure. They picked us up at our AirBNB and everyone we encountered was awesome. The hike is physically demanding (uphill for about 2 miles), but it’s more than worth it. The guides helped across rough or slippery terrain, and the lunch after was delicious. You will not regret trying this Dominican adventure.

I can't rate highly enough waterfall jumping at Damajagua with Country World Adventures. We only did the waterfall jumping -- I am aware that they do ziplining and maybe horseback riding too, but I think this is the thing to do. Where else in the world can you jump and slide down 27 waterfalls? By booking with the cruise ship, we would only have done only half the falls for perhaps twice the price. Felt safe, we had helmets and lifevests the whole time. The water was refreshingly cool, no bugs, the jumps were exhilirating, and the hour long hike up was beautiful. Afterwards we had authentic island food for lunch (included in the price). Had a small waterproof camera to record many of our jumps. Dieter and Edward were great. Like I said, BEST SHORE EXCURSION EVER. Book it and you won't regret it.
