Beautiful and fun adventure park with awesome staff!
The zip lining was really fun and easy to navigate. Felt very safe and they prepared you well esp for first timers. All the staff was exceptional and very welcoming, Jimmy gave us the royal treatment and a beautiful tour of the gardens as well. We didn’t stay for lunch but the kitchen looked great and the food smelled wonderful. Would definitely recommend to others.

          Canopy Zipline Adventure, Thrilling!!
This is a must do for your time in Puerto Plata. We booked this adventure through our cruise line, the Celebrity Eclipse. This is an 8 stage zipline, absolutely thrilling - love the highest/longest stage where at the very end, a man on horseback gallops up to you and grabs your ankle, pulling you the rest of the way! Be aware of your fitness level as there are a few graded walks between a few of the lines, so be prepared for some walking. Well organized, professional and super helpful staff. I would love to do this again, we've done several ziplines, in New Zealand, Alaska, but this was the most exciting! Highly recommend.

          Waterfall Excursion
Do NOT recommend. We hiked for 45 minutes to reach the waterfall just to wait for another 2 hours to get into the freezing water. To be honest, we were crowded into the waterfall like animals. It was packed with people. The tour guides were bad. It was obvious that they just wanted money from all the tourists. There was no thought put into the experience.

Nice views and rides on a very difficult course. Not a typical tree to tree zipline
The transportation to and from the park was on time and good. The grounds, operators and condition of the zip lines were excellent. Now comes the not so great parts; the harnesses and helmets had a terrible smell, dirty and moldy, as they are kept in an out building which must not be watertight. Also this is not a traditional zipline course which goes from tree to tree but rather goes from platform to platform with alot of walking up paths and stairs to reach each platform. It is not pleasant and enjoyable as two other zipline courses we've done before, it is truly a VERY challenging course due to all the walking, sometimes uphill, and then climbing up the platforms. The terrible smell of the helmets and harnesses add an additional challenge to the excursion. I would not recommend this excursion to anyone unless they are in very good physical shape and are looking for a challenging workout.

Fun, but be ready to Climb/Hike
I booked this excursion through Royal Caribbean & we did this excursion on November 27, 2024. Myself (46F, 225lbs) and my daughter (16, 130lbs) wanted to see the country & have some fun. Another family was also on the excursion, a father and his 2 sons, both younger than my daughter. Our tour guide, Floricel, met us at the port and was with us all the way until he dropped us back off at the port. He was AMAZING! You could tell he really cared about us and was happy to share his knowledge about his country. Manuel was our driver and he got us there and back safely. Let's just say that the road rules are more like "suggestions" in Puerto Plata! I was glad to not have to drive. The zipline facilities were adequate, if a bit rustic. We felt totally safe. We were very strapped in. Some of the pathways are dirt/rock/stone. So, it's not very comfortable underfoot & can be slippery. On the steepest paths, they did have a rope you could hold onto along the way. The kicker was, once you got to the top of the path, then you had to climb stairs to get to the platform. Needless to say, i got my workout in! The tour was stated as mildly strenuous. Umm, it's a little more than that. At the end of the tour, my phone said i had climbed the equivalent of 31 flights of stairs! The guides kept telling us that it was unseasonably warm for November. It was hot as hades and no breeze even though it was early morning. That made the hiking/climbing harder. They do provide a bottle of water which was VERY MUCH appreciated. Overall, i would probably not book this again, but only because i want to see other things and i would like more height to the ziplines. I WOULD recommend this though for anyone who has not done it....just be ready to CLIMB! It's a nice excursion that doesn't take all day and allows you to do other things after should you choose to.

Great time! Challenging! Would do this again!
We had a great time! Be prepared for lots of walking with stairs, uneven uphill paths, etc. We are 2 out of shape 60+ year olds. We have done other zip lines before and found these challenging for us, but we completed the course & loved it! There are 8 lines, number 5 being the highest point. It was only my husband & myself so we were able to go at our pace. The guides were very professional. Equipment was in good condition. They assign a photographer to your group who did a great job. The cost of the photos was confusing, but I figured out it was $60/USD per person. We are supposed to receive them via email by 10:30 tonight, so we have not seen the actual results, yet. A couple things to know before you go. The walk from the ship to the pickup point is far! They are outside the port area, far enough it is difficult to see them from the gates. Turn left & keep walking past everyone else. It rained while we were on the lines. We kept going. I say this to point out that decent shoes are required. The paths get slippery when wet. Also bring lots of cash for extras. Photos, handmade artwork, taxi back into the port because you will be exhausted- lol. They do provide transportation to/from the port, but outside the gates. They were able to accommodate us when we were ready to return to the ship earlier than scheduled. We would do this excursion again!

Slides, and jumps, and ziplines ~ oh my! Adventures await ..
We had an absolutely amazing time on this excursion! The whole team did a fantastic job and provided us with a safe & fun day. Our bus driver Luis & host JB were friendly & attentive the entire trip. The photographer "paparazzi" Alex did a phenomenonal job with all the photos & videos! The first part was the tour of the Falls with the different slides & jump spot ~ our guide Augusto was lively and funny, he did a great job! Next was the zipline & that crew, which were very efficient & friendly and made us feel safe on each of the lines. There were 4 as part of this trip and the day ended with a delicious lunch made by the locals there on the property. Fantastic day all around, would definitely recommend this excursion for anyone looking for an adventure filled day!

          Fun Experience
Very well organized tour. The country world resort is a nice place with friendly staff and guides. We were given a briefing on how to use the ATV, and then rode it along a riverbed, over rocks and other obstacles, and through a village to the beach and back. Made a couple stops along the way - these felt somewhat of a price grab due to the obviously inflated prices but you’re not obligated to buy anything. The guides who accompanied us were great! We felt safe and they were very friendly and helpful, taking photos and videos for free and even finding a coconut seller on the beach for me. Overall I’d definitely recommend this excursion for an inside look into the Dominican countryside, and a fun thrill with the ATV. Afterwards we were invited to ride the zip line into their saltwater pool and relax in the pool for a while. It was an enjoyable experience

Why do one, when you can do all?!
If you're an adrenaline junkie then this is for you! They provided everything as promised. Prompt pickup. Friendly guides. Good food. And a day full of fun activities. Our first stop was the Damajagua Waterfalls. Country World is not the operator, but the camera guy goes with your group. You are provided a helmet and life vest. Wear swim clothes and water shoes. It's a 45-minute walk to the water falls, but it goes by fast. Most the waterfalls were waterslides, but still fun. The second stop was Country World's base camp. Were you do the remaining activities (horseback, zip line, ATV) and eat lunch. The don't skimp on any! It's about 45-minutes each. By the end of the day, you will be so high on adrenaline, but ready for bed at the same time! Also, on the ATV drive, they take you to small local shop. So it's opportunity to get your souvenirs. My only complaint is the pictures are little more pricey than I remember, at $40 per person. So if you're a family it can add up fast. So bring your camera or just skip the pictures and enjoy the day!

Country world adventures was absolutely amazing. Their customer service was their top priority. I’ve been on multiple zip lines in Mexico and this was by far the safest I’ve ever felt. The food was so delicious. Everything there is community based. I would highly recommend. There was only 5 people in our group for zip lines and just the two of us for horseback riding. Highly recommend.

The tour was good. The waterfalls were a decent hike to reach but they were fun to experience. The whole waterfalls seemed to go by quick and then it was done. Almost seemed like the walks to and from waterfalls lasted longer than the waterfall stuff. The zip lining tour was fun, the meal was fantastic there. The horse back riding was just up and down the road which was ok but not what was expected.

The Zip and Splash Adventure was an unforgettable experience! We started with a peaceful horseback ride through the beautiful countryside, even getting to pick fresh fruit off the trees along the way. Next came the zip lining—an absolute thrill! If you’re afraid of heights, brace yourself, as some of the towers are quite tall, but the excitement is worth every step. After zip lining, we enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal, hands down the best food I had during my entire trip. The day ended with the challenging hike to the Damajagua Waterfalls. This hike is not for the faint of heart—it’s tough, but the reward at the top is incredible! Sliding down the natural rock slides and leaping into the crystal-clear pools was the perfect way to cap off an adventure-packed day. Highly recommend this for any adventure seeker!

This place was amazing! So clean and the staff were so fun and welcoming. We did horse back riding, zip line and waterfalls. In between we had a home cooked lunch which was the best meal of the trip. Transportation was included, nice air conditioned van. As I said staff were so helpful friendly and fun. A trip must if in the area!

Between everything if offers, it is super fun but keep in mind it is a long day and you will be exhausted once its done. The ride from our hotel (we stayed in the Playa Dorada complex) was about an hour to the waterfalls. It was amazing to take in all the sights along the way like the wild cows, horses, and chickens, businesses and houses, and the ocean and mountain scenery. Once at the waterfalls, our guides were incredibly helpful and personable. They kept the group entertained and informed during the 30 minute hike to the waterfalls. Although the hike was a bit tiring (lots of uphill climbing, including stairs), the waterfalls were worth it. They were thrilling to slide down and jump off of and the sights were spectacular. Follow everything the guides tell you and you will walk away with no abrasions; the rocks can be slippery and tricky to navigate. After the waterfalls, we returned to Country World for lunch which was delicious. It tasted like an authentic Dominican meal and was leaps and bounds better than the resort food we had. Following this we did the zip lines, which were fun and nothing to be afraid of if its your first time zip lining. Horse back riding was next, which was a little tricky because some horses have personalities, like the one horse who farted in all the other horses faces while riding, and another that kept nipping at the other horses tails. This wasn't bad though (let's be honest, a farting horse is hysterical) and as someone who has little knowledge on horses, it was cool to interact with them and learn more about them. Multiple guides even came riding along to make sure that no one got nervous during the ride. Finally, we walked into the petting zoo which was fairly brief but it was fantastic to interact with the birds and monkeys. After that, we made the trek back to the hotel. Up until this point, I hadn't made mention of any of the employees at Country World. That is because ALL of them were super welcoming and professional and it would take awhile to name each one individually. They all enjoyed being there as much as we did. Seriously, if you have the chance to do this excursion, go for it.

A class act! Organized, communicative, timely, safe, friendly english speaking guides, and excellent lunch! We booked their 27 waterfalls, horseback ride, zipline tour at the last minute as we needed a full , long day of activities before our plane left later that night. I was skeptical at first, but was quickly relieved to experience this first rate guided adventure. It was worth every cent! Guides for every activity were professional, spoke multiple languages, super safe and aware. the 27 waterfalls in April was the low season which was delightful! The water was refreshing and the guides kept us safe and we were able to jump 20+ feet into some of the pools, safety and confidently . Professional, kind and patience with those who were nervous. You could walk around the bigger jumps, but one's confidence grows as you descend the river as a result of the guides and their experience! Previous to this, I would not jump off anything more than 5' tall! I loved this experience in April when the number of people visiting are low. Note that you cannot do this experience unless you hire a guide.
The experience at the ranch was lovely. The buffet lunch was excellent with the smoked and grilled chicken being extraordinary! We then went out on their zip line course of 8 runs. The longest was over 2500'! It was hot but fantastic.

We then went on an hour horseback ride, the horses were quiet and docile and very mellow. A beginner would have NO problem. Th ranch was beautiful! they pool their tips which is really nice and refreshing.

Also another enormous benefit is that a photographer joins you in your entire experience~ AND THEY POST THE PHOTOS ON LINE SO THAT YOU CAN DOWNLOAD FOR FREE! This is huge as most outfits do not allow cameras and the charge you exorbitant rates for photos + 100!
The staff was awesome, super friendly, funny, professional and a delight!

        Thank you!

We then came back and checked out the exotics at the ranch, flamings, spider monkeys, iguana and parrots. I would do this again in a heart beat

The place was awesome. The ziplining was a lot of fun and so was the horseback riding. The staff is also great and the lunch that's provided with this excursion was awesome. We had some rice, Fried chicken and beans along with fried yuca and plantains. It was to die for. They do sell alcoholic beverages but nothing over 5USD.

My friend and I booked this and we were picked up from our resort lobby. The staff were very friendly, patient and cautious. Zip Lining was great - however we didn't see any monkeys. The waterfalls was fantastic despite the rain and some travelers not being able to swim.
Amazing jam packed day! Great Food! Great Staff!

My family (kids ages 13, 11, 9) loved this excursion. The waterfall portion was their favorite, but being able to do all 3 activities was a great value. We did the horseback riding and Zipling first, which I appreciated since it wouldn't have been able to comfortable after the waterfalls being wet. The horses totally know what they're doing so no experience was really necessary for the riding. My girls and I giggled when the cowboys/girls would say something and our horses would trot. While not necessary, I would recommend wearing a little longer short for the horseback riding and ziplining to protect your legs from running. The ziplining was surprising relaxing! It is a lot of climbing, but you are hooked onto a rope, so I never worried about falling. I'm also afraid of heights, but you feel very secure and the views from above are awesome. For the waterfall portion be aware that it it a long, hot, mostly inclined hike to the 12th waterfall... But it you are used to some physical activity you should be able to do it. They offer lots of breaks and water on the way up and it's a mostly shaded path work lots of trees and plantlife to look at on the way. We hiked during mango season, and were encouraged to wear our helmets as mangos were just falling from the trees! Best mango I've ever tasted! Some of the jumps take nerve, but there's only good fun peer pressure, and no problem if you chicken out, most jumps had stairs you could choose to climb down instead. My 9 year old girl did all the jumps but the highest one. Your best bet for this trip is watershoes or sneakers. I tried renting watershoes from a place at the beginning of the trail for $2, but after several attempts to find a pair that fit I decided to just wear my sneakers. I was worried they would feel heavy and water logged once they got wet, but it really never bothered me and they dried for later use just fine. Don't wear flip flops or cutsie sandals as you will either lose them in the pools, or have difficulty walking through some of the river portions as they have quite a few rocks. If you're curious about this trip (specifically the waterfall part) I say do it! I'm by no means in the best shape, not a huge fan of swimming/jumping off things, but my kids and I absolutely loved this, and it's such a beautiful place..pictures don't do it justice. Speaking of pictures, they have a couple cameramen that go with you on the entire trip and film/take shots of everything. you can purchase a USB drive at the end with pictures, video, or both. The combo package is the better deal, and we really enjoyed getting to relive our trip watching the video. If you don't mind having to hold on to a waterproof camera the whole time, some people took their own pictures. For me, it was nice to just enjoy the experience and not think about a camera.
