Carnival Cruises bought out Holland America and lowered the service standards to match Carnival. Service was very poor. Ports of call missed. Guests were herded like cattle. Service was poor and not as advertised. It was a terrible disappointment. (I had taken the same cruise in 2010 when it was still owned by Holland America and that was wonderful. Thus I had a point of comparison. Ship OOsterdam was dirty. Cruise definitely not as advertised. Never again!

Perfect start to the end. Fast communication, pontual, reliable, clean car. Everything we need to finish our vacation in DR. The driver was very cordial, even with wifi in the van. Congratulations.

Hi there. We wanted to give a great review for our driver Fernando and our contact Livingston. Before we left the states, Livingston was in contact to make sure we had all of the information we needed for pick up and even going back to Punta Cana. We flew into Punta Cana but needed to go to Samana. That’s a 4 and a half hour drive. Getting through the crush of taxi drivers and others upon leaving the airport was easy. Fernando had a sign that was easy for us to see. We went to the parking lot and hopped in the van. There was air conditioning and water and we sat back for the long ride. The drive was as smooth as it could be. Fernando was skilled at getting around all of the different types of traffic. On the way back from Samana to Punta Cana, we were met at the hotel at the right time. We were able to change our departure time by a half hour so we could grab breakfast at the hotel. Thanks for the adjustment. When we left, we had an unexpected flat tire from some glass in the road. Fernando stopped in Samana town to get it fixed. He took care of it and we were on our way quickly. It’s hard to ask for more from the pre departure communication to the actual trip to and from. We will use the service again when we return. They did not even show up! I needed transport to the airport and the driver said he did not even have my information. The agent told me to call for a taxi. I can’t believe they could do this.

They did not show up for my reserved time. Now the do not reply to any messages. I purchased through Viator and they are investigating. DO NOT BOOK or they will make you miss your flight!

In February 2020, I had two early morning airport trips from La Romana to Las Americas with Punta Brazilis. As always, Mr. Livingston was on time and the journey to the airport was very comfortable.

I booked this transfer for me and 30 other people with different departure dates and times. No matter the time of pick up (even if it was at 4:30 AM), we were always received with a smile and the best attitude. Moreover, it was easy to book and the best of all, it had a great price. I would 100% recommend using Punta Brazilis! They were very quick to confirm arrangements and the transfers organised were perfect. Totally on time , modern vehicles and friendly and helpful drivers. We had a transfer from La Romana Port to Bavaro,then on to the airport and both were faultless.We even had the Company owner driving us! A group of 5 hired the services of Punta Brazilis to take us from La Romana to Santo Domingo for a conference Seventy Week Ministry of Messiah. We were all very comfortable and had a pleasant journey. We arrived safely at our destination in Santo Domingo and back to our homes in La Romana.
