- 245ashantig0 contributionsWhale Watching and waterfallNacho and Rene were the best in our tour! They helped us a lot and nacho was really funny! I definitely 100% recommend this tour on your trip to the Dominican republicWritten March 3, 2023
- 563britneyh0 contributions12 hour whale watching excursionThe bus ride from the resort was long but worth it. It was a nice coach bus with a short break about midway to quickly stretch your legs and use the restroom. We spent a lot of time in the boat looking for whales but when we finally saw them it was AMAZING! We saw two different pairs of whales breach a couple times. They positioned the boat so each side could see. After whale watching we went to the island where lunch was provided. Chicken, rice, salad, and one beverage. Our excursion did not include the waterfall so we spent the rest of the day on the island. It was one of the most beautiful places I have seen in my life! Note on half the island the chairs are free and the other half they charge. There is a sign indicating which side is which. Tips Bring water, and snacks. Although lunch is provided it’s a LONG day! If your prone to seasickness then take medication. Cons: The bus ride is long and the excursion ended up being over 12 hours. Not a deal breaker for me, but know that is a LONG trip if staying in Punta Cana A few people got sick on the boat. The water was VERY CHOPPY. Lots of people on the island trying to sell you things, or take pictures of you and sell them to you. I wasn’t a fan of that and just wanted to relax, but many people would come up to you while on the beach. Also… we ended up buying the pictures, and they turned out pretty good. Even with the cons this trip is worth it!Written February 28, 2023
- EmilA914250 contributionsWhale watching in Dominican RepublicWisest travel arranged this trip for us. Unfortunately 2 of our group were ill on the day but wisest travel were very helpful and rescheduled the trip for them. Whales were seen on both trips. The baby humpback whale was with the mother and kept jumping out of the water. Would recommend wisest travel as they were helpful, understandinf and communication was excellent. Thank you.Written February 22, 2023
- 225jyk0 contributionsThe bestThe dynamic duo of Edy and Cesar made this a top of list tour while vacationing here. Their knowledge of local history was presented in a easily digested comic routine and was well received by us party animals and families alike... CHEERS boysWritten February 16, 2023
- Mary T0 contributionsCayo leventadoCAYO LEVENTADO visit included in El Limon/ Samana tour. Beautiful beaches. Worth visiting, but on this tour basically 1hr to spend in this location which is definitely not enough. The beach is lovely, the area not too touristy and the shores shallow enough to enter for those with knee/ hip problems (in order to get out again). I would love to have spent more time here, but it is still a long way/ time from Punta Cana.Written December 10, 2018
