Amazing adventure! Average to good shape recommended. Waterfalls were exhilarating. The zip line was easy to do and fun!
The guides were wonderful. They asked after our health and how we were feeling repeatedly throughout the day. They had water shoes available for purchase, provided bottled water to drink, escorted us on and off the truck, guided us throughout the entire trip, and told us lovely stories about their culture and history. The 45 minute hike up the trail to the start of the waterslides Seemed intimidating at first, but the guides stopped frequently to let us rest and catch our breath.
Even though there were multiple groups going at the same time, the pacing was perfect. We did not feel crowded or rushed.
We had a guide at the front and back of our group at all times. The zip line adventure was seamless. That went very quickly. The waterslide adventure had some downtime in between slides to admire the scenery.
The photographer did a wonderful job. His prices are very reasonable and he provided us links to the photos and the video we purchased in a timely fashion. The whole team was very professional and I would certainly travel with them again. Avery was amazing. I have provided a picture of him. Ask for him by name!

Todo está maravilloso. Nuestro guía fue Jairo & Wilmer y estuvieron EXCELENTE todo el grupo y fotógrafo hicieron excelente trabajo y tuvieron mucha paciencia con todos lo miembro del tour. We had an amazing,memorable experience, thanks to Jairo,Wilmer and all the amazing guide and photographer on the Zip-lining and cascade Adventure. We felt safe and they are very attentive towards the entire group. Food was delicious. Excellent service, every moment was priceless. Gorgeous views. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I enjoyed every second of this mega adventure! From the moment we were picked up from our hotel in a safari truck to being dropped off back at the hotel, we enjoyed every minute! On our way to zip line we were hosted by Alex who gave us some background about DR and the area we were headed too. I loved seeing real DR. The real towns, homes and people of the island. The mountains, farms, it was great to get away from the resort and catch a glimpse of the life and culture of the people. DR is a beautiful green island with beautiful mountains. Zip lining was so much fun and every single one of the staff are sweet and professional. We ate lunch, which was amazing! And I loved being able to chat with the owner and see how much she genuinely cares for her employees. Truly a family business. Next we headed on the hike with our guide Gabriel who was like a father too us! So caring and watched out for us every step of the way. Hiking through and up to the waterfalls was great and really an adventure. We swam through the canals, jumped off cliffs and slide down rock slides. The water is natural mineral water and oh so refreshing! Finishing it off, we did the buggy’s where we also stopped by the most beautiful beach. It was a full day filled with nature and adventure. What more could I ask for. Thank you to the entire staff and the owner for such a safe, fun experience! Hope to be back soon! 5 stars all the way!

This was an excursion we booked through Carnival. Meet up was easy right at the port, and we were led to an open air bus/truck. First to the waterfalls, the hike to the top was intense. We were only given one stop on the way up, so maybe 1-2 more planned stops would be nice because I definitely struggled. The waterfalls were amazing! The water was so nice and cool which I definitely needed to cool down. Our tour however we were told there would be 7 waterfalls we would use, we jumped 2x and slid down 3 waterfalls, so I don't think we got the full shebang. We had a short bus ride to the Mega Adventures site where we had a delicious lunch and then zip lines! Overall this was a great tour, Duran was so personable and really went out of his way to help a few that were really struggling with the harder parts of the tour.

We have done more than 50 excursions and this by far was one of our favorites! It was organized, safe and incredible. Francisco, our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the country and was constantly working to make sure everyone was taken care of in every way. He was friendly and courteous and made the entire experience wonderful.

The lunch buffet was delicious. We had a beef stew, grilled chicken, pasta salad and fruit. The waterfalls were refreshing and beautiful. The ride to the falls and the ranch was one of the most comfortable breezy off road vehicles we have been in.

Don’t miss this excursion!

BEST EXCURSION EVER

Our excursion in the Dominican Republic was hiking uphill for 40 minutes then down a bunch of stairs for another 15 minutes to the Damajagua Waterfalls. I didn't think Z and I would make it 🤣 hiking is not our thing and we were STRUGGLING 🤣🤣🤣 it wasn't cute 🤣 shout out to all those fine domician guides on our tour 😏 Hey Steven ❤️ they stayed at the back of hike with Z and practically pushed her butt up the mountain while Steven distracted me by talking to me the whole way up 😏 we finally got to the Waterfalls and I was scared and one of the guys just pushed me into the water, not ok sir 🤣🤣🤣 we ended the excursion with some traditional Dominican food and trying hot chocolate made with fresh cocoa beans pulled right off the tree before going Ziplining, which I also wasn't excited about but hey the things you do to make memories with your kid. This experience was 20/10!!!! My favorite experience was seeing the beautiful DR environment and interacting with the locals. Our guide from Mega adventures Francisco was amazing and knowledgeable about the history of the DR and their neighboring country Haiti.

There is a 45 minute hike up a hill but there are a few areas to rest on the way up. They are very patient and helpful with non swimmers as some of the pools are a bit deep.

This experience is truly adrenaline filled and beautiful!!!!

The best excursion

We actually booked this through carnival. But it was amazing! Our tour guide Duran was fantastic. It was my husband, myself and our 8 year old daughter. I will say the hike to the falls was intense(but not at all to an 8 year old) the waterfalls were so incredible, but a bit intense for the kid. Thankfully the guides were able to bring her down via a ladder on the last one- which was terrifying for a kid. The zip lining was amazing, I wished it didn’t end. The food the provided was also so delicious. Would recommend this excursion a million times.

Fantastic selection for a carnival excursion !!!!! The zip lining and the waterfall adventures were hands down the best. Misael and Modesto did a wonderful job with the tour, sightseeing, driving, and assisting. We will be back. Well done fellas

All day fun

Alex and Luis were great guides. Our family enjoyed a full day of waterfall/ zip line and horse back riding. The lunch provided was also pretty tasty. Our youngest was 11 years old and did all the activities except the zip line. We all had a great time! Definitely a must do on a trip.
