Switch and Bait-Beware- false advertisement We were suppose to snorkel and didnt. We were suppose to have unlimited beer, wine and softs drinks, snacks and sandwiches. Instead we got 1 drink, 1 basket of chips and a small platter of fruit that 30 ppl had to share, There were no plates, napkins or forks. There was no water in the bathroom or soap, sanitizer, paper towels or toilet paper.Just gross.

        COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY
We had been on a quad adventure in DR before so this was always on our list to do. Unfortunately this was not enjoyable. I agree with the other post it is all a tourist selling scam, every place you go they are trying to sell you something. The cave was lovely but we weren’t told that there was a long walk down steep steps to get to it and this meant my dad had to wait by his buggy - what a waste of money ! We only had about 15/20 mins here. There were 40+ in our group which meant we were continuously waiting for people and this meant we were at a constant 5/10 MPH - not much fun ! Our buggy was ok but many kept breaking down and the staff were hot wiring them to restart ! Macao beach was beautiful but again a hard push with sellers and we had about 15 mins there ! All along the route there were locals begging and running alongside the buggies. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - NOT WORTH $5 LET ALONE THE $75 PER PERSON WE PAID

        Not fun and extremely stressful
It was a huge tourist trap focusing more on a stressful chaotic money grab than an adventure. Each destination checkpoint was based on a purchasing event rather than a scenic landmark. I was on high alert the whole time as each spot was extremely aggressive trying to get purchases from us. Our boogie broke down multiple times on the way to Macao beach in very desolate areas which left me afraid for my family and separated from the group. Our boogies were repaired quickly each time, luckily. When we got to the beach it felt that we were released to a cacophony of beach vendors aggressively wheeling and dealing, you couldn't take a moment to breathe in the beauty of the surroundings. All in all it wasn't beautiful, fun, but extremely stressful and unsettling

        Really bad
Nobody turned up for pickup but they take your money, don’t reimburse and lie saying they were there and didn’t find you ! Of course during all the waiting time nobody was joinable....

        NO SHOW COMPANY!!!
I purchased this excursion through TripAdvisor on Monday March 5, 2018. Payment went to Viator for $40 per person for 2 was $140. Excursion date to be on vacation March 14, 2018. With having a reservation you still have to call to confirm you excursion hotel pick up 24 hours in advance. Upon doing so, they never answered the phone after wasting hours of calls the day prior. I was finally able to reach a gentleman at 8am the next morning. He said they would be at the hotel at 12:30pm for pick up for our excursion. He said our excursion was scheduled at 2pm. I explained that it was at 1pm. and at that point I had a funny feeling they weren't coming to pick us up. I went directly to the hotel concierge to have her contact the company Benzansailingcruise.com. Concierge was never able to get them to answer their phone. She even got on an app for her phone to see if they were using their phone and they were, but just not answering our calls. She explained to me that they have had several people book with this company and they are famous for not showing. If they don't get enough people for booking the excursion they just no show and take your money. Have made a claim with Viator to process us a refund. We'll see how that goes. I would suggest to book excursions directly from hotel where they have dependable companies working for them.

Great staff that looked after us very well
We booked this as a private outing for 10. Got a great price; our booking was done between a resort rep and local beach merchant...a bit of a messy affair. Once we got on our way we forgot about the earlier challenges - we were well looked after.

        Catamaran Sailing Adventure
My boyfriend and I are from New York and recently had a short vacation in Punta Cana (December 2016). We sought to escape the resort experience for a day in favor of the natural beauty and adventures offered by the Caribbean side of the region. The Catamaran Sailing Adventure gave us exactly what we wanted. It was well organized, lots of fun and we felt safe throughout. Felix was great at describing everything to us over phone (in English) before the excursion and making sure we came prepared with sunscreen and a hat. We paid $90 per person. I'll provide an account of the trip and all that was included. A mini-van picked us up at 7:30AM. It took us and about 8 other people (from all over the world) first to a large, but otherwise conventional souvenir shop and then to the dock where a boat would pick us up and take us to the snorkeling spot. Snorkeling gear and life vests were provided. Non-swimmers were advised to remain in the boat. This was my first snorkel, so although I didn't see much aquatic life, I was thrilled just catching a glimpse of 5 or so tropical fish. Next we headed to Saona Island and spent some time in the breathtaking Piscina Natural where the water is clear and starfish are plenty. This part is safe for non-swimmers; the water is usually less than 5 feet, but I was surprised by sudden drops. After that, we boarded the boat (which picks up considerable speed) and were followed by birds who, we were told were eager for us to throw them some bread. We unboarded at Saona's scenic if rocky beach where we were given food and drinks. Both were lackluster by any standard, but our expectations were not high. We relaxed for over an hour before heading off to the catamaran (which would return us by the dock) wherein we were given a good amount of rum and thereby convinced into dancing bachata and zumba, a joyous experience indeed. The previously quiet mini-van was full of delightful chatter on the way back, and we returned to the hotel at around 6PM. It is worth mentioning that Francisco was a friendly and talented photographer who accompanied us throughout the trip. The photos were so great, we were happy to pay for the CD. When we returned home, we had issues loading them up on the computer and emailed the company, worried. To their great credit, they were very responsive to this and this issue was resolved. We highly recommend this excursion and this company if you are looking for some adventure in Punta Cana.
